Cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)has become one of the mainstream techniques for determining the structures of proteins andmacromolecular complexes,with prospects for development and *** must select hundreds of thousands of particles from micrographs to acquire the database for single-particle cryo-EM ***,existing particle picking methods cannot ensure that the particles are in the center of the bounding box because the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of micrographs is extremely low,thereby directly affecting the efficiency and accuracy of 3D *** propose an automated particle-picking method(CenterPicker)based on particle center point detection to automatically select a large number of high-quality particles from low signal-to-noise,low-contrast refrigerated microscopy *** method uses a fully convolutional neural network to generate a keypoint *** heatmap value represents the probability that a micrograph pixel belongs to a particle center *** can process images of any size and can directly predict the center point and size of the *** network implements multiscale feature fusion and introduces an attention mechanism to improve the feature fusion part to obtain more accurate selection *** have conducted a detailed evaluation of CenterPicker on a range of datasets,and results indicate that it excels in single-particle picking tasks.

Deriving the spatial features of user equipment (UE) and traffic distribution is crucial for optimizing real-world wireless network performance, such as load balancing and improving cell-edge user experience. In this paper, we creatively construct the beam-space grid with high-dimensional beam reference signal receiving power (RSRP), serving as spatial reference system for 5G mobile networks. However, this is a challenging task due to i) access to 3D UE geographic information is limited by privacy protection and device settings, ii) beam-RSRP with up to 75% loss in measurement reports (MRs), iii) large computation and storage requirements of grid information caused by the exploding grid number in high-dimensional beam-space. A novel approach is designed to tackle these challenges, that coherently integrate low-rank matrix completion and dimension reduction techniques. Using telco big data, specifically MRs from live networks, we recover the beam-RSRP with high-precision and construct the beam-space grid even without geographic information. This research ensures stable derivation of spatial distribution features in the beam-space grid while efficiently processing grid information.

A graph G is said to be strongly Menger edge-connected (SM-λ for short) if for every two of its vertices u and v, there are min{dG(u),dG(v)}) edge-disjoint paths between them, where dG(u) is the degree of u in G. The maximum conditional edge-fault-tolerant number of order r with respect to the SM-λ property of G, denoted by smrλ(G), is the maximum integer m such that G − F remains SM-λ for every edge set F with |F| ≤ m and δ(G − F) ≥ r. So far, most of the exact values of smrλ(G) are for the case when r ≤ 2 for special class of graphs. In this paper, we give a sufficient condition to give a bound of smrλ(G) for general r on regular graphs. A compact dual polarization dipole antenna for the application to 5G base station is investigated, which is composed of radiator, baluns, and metal reflector, having an impendence bandwidth of 23.6% with VSWR<1.5. The dual-polarized antenna has a high ports isolation, high cross-polarization and high gain in operating bandwidth. The results indicate that this work can operate in entire N78 band and provide potential application for 5G base station.

Anomaly detection aims to find outliers data that do not conform to expected behaviors in a specific scenario, which is indispensable and critical in current safety environments related studies. However, when performing outlier detection on a large-scale multidimensional dataset, most of the traditional methods make no distinctions between classes of outliers and lack the reasoning ability and the explainability of the analysis results, which leads to the low accuracy of global outlier detection and the inability to effectively identify local outliers. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained anomaly detection method which well utilizes isolation forest and knowledge graph reasoning tactics. First, a better extracting data feature method and a more reasonable weighted strategy are used to find global outliers based on the traditional isolation forest algorithm, and then we construct a custom rule base according to the in-depth research and analysis of global abnormal data, and at last the ontology knowledge is reasoned based on such rule base to achieve the detection of local outliers. Through analysis of extensive experiment results, our method could effectively discover more abnormal data without big loss of time costs, has strong generalization, and correspondingly improves the performance for abnormal detection. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

We presents a squared sine functioned adaptive (SSA) algorithm for acoustic-echo-cancellation (AEC) applications in-presence-of impulsive noise. In the development of the SSA algorithm, a novel cost function is constructed by exerting a sliding window type squared sine function on the estimation error vector, which provides robustness in the impulsive-noise environments and speed-ups convergence when the input is colored signals. Theoretical models for predicting the mean-weight-behavior, transient excess-mean-square-error (EMSE) behavior, and tracking behavior are presented. Moreover, the optimal step size and minimum EMSE of the tracking performance are provided. The computation complexity of SSA algorithm has also been investigated. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the theoretical results match well with simulation results and show the superiority of the proposed SSA algorithm against known algorithms in AEC applications. © 2023, CC BY.

Joint relay selection and power allocation protocol for two-way relaying system

The Joint Relay Selection and Power Allocation (JRSPA) for Amplify-and-Forward (AF) relaying (JRSPA-AF) combines Power Allocation (PA) and Relay Selection (RS) very well in Two- Way Relaying (TWR) system. In order to explore the system performance of JRSPA-AF protocol, the outage probability and Diversity-Multiplexing Trade-off (DMT) of JRSPA-AF protocol are analysed. One upper bound, two lower bounds and approximate expressions of outage probability along with the DMT are derived. Based on this, the idea of JRSPA is introduced into Decode-and- Forward (DF) relaying TWR system, and the JRSPA-DF protocol is proposed. Moreover, the exact expressions of outage probability and DMT for JRSPA-DF are derived. Simulations are developed to validate the analytical results, the results show that the approximation outage probability of JRSPA-AF can be used well to evaluate system outage probability over the entire transmission SNR region, and the analysis results of outage probability of JRSPA-DF are consistent with its simulation results. In addition, the simulation results indicate that JRSPA-DF can achieve lower outage probability than JRSPA-AF and other protocols. Copyright © 2019 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Knowledge Graph (KG) is an essential research direction that involves storing and managing knowledge data, but its incompleteness and sparsity hinder its development in various applications. Knowledge Graph Reasoning (KGR) is an effective method to solve this limitation via reasoning missing knowledge based on existing knowledge. The graph Convolution Network (GCN) based method is one of the state-of-the-art approaches to this work. However, there are still some problems, such as the insufficient ability to perceive graph structure and the poor effect of learning data features which may limit the reasoning accuracy. This paper proposes a KGR architecture based on a graph sequence generator and multi-head self-attention mechanism, named GaM-KGR, to improve the above problems and enhance prediction accuracy. Specifically, the GaM-KGR first introduces the graph generation model into the field of KGR for graph representation learning to obtain the hidden features in the data so that enhancing the reasoning effect and then embeds the generated graph sequence into the multi-head self-attention mechanism for subsequent processing to improve the graph structure perception ability of the proposed architecture, so that it can process the graph structure data more appropriately. Extensive experimental results show that the GaM-KGR architecture can achieve the state-of-the-art prediction results of current GCN-based models. © 2023 IEEE.

Hyperspectral image (HSI) plays a vital role in various fields such as agriculture and environmental monitoring. However, due to the expensive acquisition cost, the number of hyperspectral images is limited, degenerating the performance of downstream tasks. Although some recent studies have attempted to employ diffusion models to synthesize HSIs, they still struggle with the scarcity of HSIs, affecting the reliability and diversity of the generated images. Some studies propose to incorporate multi-modal data to enhance spatial diversity, but spectral fidelity cannot be ensured. In addition, existing HSI synthesis models are typically uncontrollable or only support single-condition control, limiting their ability to generate accurate and reliable HSIs. To alleviate these issues, we propose HSIGene, a novel HSI generation foundation model which is based on latent diffusion and supports multi-condition control, allowing for more precise and reliable HSI generation. To enhance the spatial diversity of the training data while preserving spectral fidelity, we propose a new data augmentation method based on spatial super-resolution, in which HSIs are upscaled first, and thus abundant training patches could be obtained by cropping the high-resolution HSIs. In addition, to improve the perceptual quality of the augmented data, we introduce a novel two-stage HSI super-resolution framework, which first applies RGB bands super-resolution and then utilizes our proposed Rectangular Guided Attention Network (RGAN) for guided HSI super-resolution. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed model is capable of generating a vast quantity of realistic HSIs for downstream tasks such as denoising and super-resolution.
