Hyperspectral image super resolution aims to improve the spatial resolution of given hyperspectral images, which has become a highly attractive topic in the field of image processing. Existing techniques typically focus on super resolution with sufficient training data. However, restricted by data acquisition conditions, certain hyperspectral images or band images are very different to obtain, resulted in insufficient training data. In order to solve this problem, a new hyperspectral image super resolution method is proposed in this paper in an effort to conduct the super resolution task over insufficient (sparse) training data, by applying the recently introduced ANFIS (Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System) interpolation method. Particularly, the training dataset is divided into several subsets. For the subsets with sufficient training data, the relevant ANFIS models are trained using standard ANFIS learning algorithm, while for the subsets with sparse training data, the corresponding ANFIS models are interpolated through the use of ANFIS interpolation. Experimental results indicate that compared with the methods using sufficient training data, the proposed method can achieve very similar result, showing its effectiveness for situations where only sparse training data is available.

With more and more governmental business going digital and collaborative to the best of whole government value and public value, electronic records security management (ERSM) faces great challenges. There is a growing understanding that standardization is the key to the successful ERSM, when governmental business requires cross-boundary collaboration. However, previous studies of collaborative innovation community capacity building (CICCB) on ERSM are mainly from the perspective of archival study to the best of long term preservation of electronic archives,with little concerns about needs of different interested parties. Few studies have been taken from interdisciplinary perspective and integrated use of international standards of business continuity management, records management, knowledge management and information security management to the best value of knowledge sharing and continuity of business, records, knowledge and security service. Based on prior findings and the integrated use of ISO management systems standards (ISO/IEC 27001, 2013;ISO 15489-1, 2016;ISO 30401, 2018;ISO 22301, 2019;ISO 30301, 2019), this study analyses the motivation mechanisms of CICCB for ERSM, then develops an extended conceptual framework for CICCB, including cognitive collaboration which means shared knowledge and values on ERSM for all types of interested parties that enable continual improvement;interested parties collaboration which means human interactions on shared rules for community practice on ERSM that enable improved transparency and accountability;process collaboration which means shared standards, guidelines and models for whole process control that enable electronic records controllable with characteristics of authenticity, reliability, integrity, usability, confidentiality and availability;technical collaboration which means shared solutions that enable electronic records systems reliable, secure, compliant, comprehensive, systematic. Recently, deep learning and human-out-of-the-loop methods enjoy their prosperous applications in mechanical fault diagnosis. Nonetheless, the None-IID(independent and identically distributed) issue radicated in acquired data severely limits the stability and accuracy of compound fault diagnosis of rolling bearings. This paper proposes a sample augmentation method for generating simulated signals based on the concept of counterfactuals. Firstly, disentangled representations and counterfactual faithful theory are applied to classify the original signal into two categories of properties. One is the fault semantics encoded from the original vibration signal. And the other is the sample attribute encoded by the encoder of Variational Autoencoders (VAEs). Secondly, the counterfactual faithful pseudo-samples are conjured through the Generative Adversarial Network(GAN) using the seeds of the “factual” sample attributes and “counterfactual” fault semantics to compensate for the drawback of distribution shift. Finally, the original samples and pseudo-samples are used as the CNN classifier dataset to realize bearing fault diagnosis. Experiments show that this method can generate counterfactual signals that are highly consistent with the original data distribution and can achieve better classification accuracy after balancing the dataset.

The traditional association rule representation method has no way to show the essential relationship between concepts and lacks understanding of the concept level. Concept lattice is a kind of data structure which can show the relationship between concepts, concept lattice also has unique advantages in the visualization and discovery of potential knowledge of association rules. In this paper, a visualization algorithm of association rules based on concept lattice is proposed. The algorithm visually displays the association rules extracted from concept lattice. Finally, this article combines the chronic disease record data of a certain hospital to analyze and visualize the association rules. The implementation results show that the visualization method has good effects in knowledge analysis and data display.

Neural networks, especially convolutional neural networks (CNN), are one of the most common tools these days used in computer vision. Most of these networks work with real-valued data using real-valued features. Complex-valued convolutional neural networks (CV-CNN) can preserve the algebraic structure of complex-valued input data and have the potential to learn more complex relationships between the input and the ground-truth. Although some comparisons of CNNs and CV-CNNs for different tasks have been performed in the past, a large-scale investigation comparing different models operating on different tasks has not been conducted. Furthermore, because complex features contain both real and imaginary components, CV-CNNs have double the number of trainable parameters as real-valued CNNs in terms of the actual number of trainable parameters. Whether or not the improvements in performance with CV-CNN observed in the past have been because of the complex features or just because of having double the number of trainable parameters has not yet been explored. This paper presents a comparative study of CNN, CNNx2 (CNN with double the number of trainable parameters as the CNN), and CV-CNN. The experiments were performed using seven models for two different tasks - brain tumour classification and segmentation in brain MRIs. The results have revealed that the CV-CNN models outperformed the CNN and CNNx2 models. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Kienbock's disease is an avascular necrosis of the lunate bone of the hand, which manifests itself by pain in the wrist associated with a certain stiffness and above all a loss of clenching strength. If left untreated, the natural course of this disease is towards the progressive aggravation and destruction of the lunate and then the whole wrist. In the advanced stages of the disease, the lunate becomes too damaged to be preserved. Several surgical techniques can be considered, including the placement of an implant. In this perspective, the present paper deals with the modelling and the realization of a lunate implant. To do this, we first used scanner images provided by the Cheikh Zaid International University Hospital in Rabat (Morocco) in order to obtain a 3D reconstruction of the semilunar bone. The measurements carried out on this reconstruction allowed us to determine the parameters necessary for its modelling. In a second step, we proceeded to the choice of the material taking into account several criteria such as biocompatibility, elastic limit, cost,... Finally, we proceeded to the 3D printing of a prototype. The results obtained are satisfactory and could contribute to a better management of patients suffering from Kienbock disease. © 2021 IEEE.

The key-phrase extraction is important for the downstream tasks in natural language process, and has attracted a lot of attention. Compared with other documents, scientific literatures contain many long phrases. Most existing methods perform poor on these literatures. To address this problem, a key-phrase extraction method based on multi-size convolution windows (KE-MCW) is proposed for scientific literatures in this paper. More specifically, in order to represent more contextual information, a convolutional neural network(CNN) with multi-size filters is introduced to map the documents into distributed feature vectors, then each vector can represent different size phrases. Next, in order to determine whether each word is a part of a keyphrase, a deep recurrent neural network is used to mark the role of each word. Finally, the attention mechanism is used to further judge the importance of each phrase. Experimental results show that our proposed method performs better than some competitive methods for technology literatures.

Automatic optimization algorithms are crucial for vehicle body lightweight design;however, existing methods remain inefficient leading to excessive iterations that increase both time and costs. Current interactive optimization strategies partially mitigate this issue but lack a broad range of manipulation points and auxiliary information models. As such, we introduce a novel approach, "Human-in-the-Loop based method for Vehicle Body Lightweight Design" (HIL-VBLD). This method integrates human decision-making with optimization algorithms to reduce unproductive iterations. HIL-VBLD comprises two key components: (1) an innovative interaction mode that provides multiple manipulation points including constraint modification, algorithm switching, and selection of solutions of interest (SOI);(2) A comprehensive auxiliary information model that supports decision-making for designers. Our analysis demonstrates HIL-VBLD's efficacy, showing a 54.5% reduction in iteration cycles for genetic algorithm using SOI selection. Algorithm switching led to a 4.5% mass reduction, avoiding local optimum pitfalls associated with gradient algorithms. Additionally, the auxiliary information model achieved a further 1.25% mass reduction, enhancing optimization robustness. Compared to conventional automatic algorithm switching strategies, HIL-VBLD maintains equivalent accuracy with 23.9% fewer iterations. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With the rapid development of e-Commerce and takeaway platforms, retailers have gradually developed multi-channel operations. However, limited empirical studies explored the effects of an online channel offered by takeaway platforms on the store performance. Does an online channel addition have a synergy effect or a cannibalization effect on store performance? We empirically investigate these effects by analyzing a large dataset including diverse samples collected from multiple retailers across various regions. The dataset includes 2115 stores across 25 retailers for 10 months that includes two types of retail formats and covers 16 provinces and 21 cities of China. We study the impacts of the newly introduced online channel on the incumbent offline channel and the overall store *** empirical results reveal that the online channel addition mainly has a synergy effect. Specifically,for the overall store, it has a positive effect on the sales and product variety, whereas it has a negative effect on the basket size. Surprisingly, an online channel addition also has a positive effect on the offline sales. Our study adds novel values to multi-channel retailing literature by empirically researching the cannibalization and synergy effect of a new type of online channel, offered by takeaway platforms. It can provide insights for retail enterprises who are interested in introducing O2 O model.

The low-altitude economy (LAE), as a new economic paradigm, plays an indispensable role in cargo transportation, healthcare, infrastructure inspection, and especially post-disaster communication. Specifically, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as one of the core technologies of the LAE, can be deployed to provide communication coverage, facilitate data collection, and relay data for trapped users, thereby significantly enhancing the efficiency of post-disaster response efforts. However, conventional UAV self-organizing networks exhibit low reliability in long-range cases due to their limited onboard energy and transmit ability. Therefore, in this paper, we design an efficient and robust UAV-swarm enabled collaborative self-organizing network to facilitate post-disaster communications. Specifically, a ground device transmits data to UAV swarms, which then use collaborative beamforming (CB) technique to form virtual antenna arrays and relay the data to a remote access point (AP) efficiently. Then, we formulate a rescue-oriented post-disaster transmission rate maximization optimization problem (RPTRMOP), aimed at maximizing the transmission rate of the whole network. Given the challenges of solving the formulated RPTRMOP by using traditional algorithms, we propose a two-stage optimization approach to address it. In the first stage, the optimal traffic routing and the theoretical upper bound on the transmission rate of the network are derived. In the second stage, we transform the formulated RPTRMOP into a variant named V-RPTRMOP based on the obtained optimal traffic routing, aimed at rendering the actual transmission rate closely approaches its theoretical upper bound by optimizing the excitation current weight and the placement of each participating UAV via a diffusion model-enabled particle swarm optimization (DM-PSO) algorithm.
