Road network restoration is an important issue in the post-disaster disposal and rescue, especially when extraordinarily serious natural disasters (e.g., floods and earthquakes) occur. Central to this endeavour is the problem of determining how to reasonably schedule and route the repair crew to quickly restore the damaged road network and establish reliable supply lines from supply nodes to demand nodes. However, most existing work focuses on the activities of the single repair crew in the static road network, which is unable to adapt to the dynamic changes of the road network caused by secondary disasters, such as rock slides and debris flows. Consequently, this work is concentrated on multicrew dynamic scheduling and routing in road network restoration. Specifically, a model of multicrew dynamic scheduling and routing is first presented. Next, the Markov decision process is adopted to construct a decision model for repair crews, based on which a multiagent Q-learning algorithm is developed to find the best scheduling and routing strategy. Finally, experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can make repair crews adjust their scheduling and routing strategies according to the dynamic changes of the damaged road network and provides a useful attempt to restore the damaged road network in complex, dynamic emergency scenarios of post-disaster.

Taking a military operation as an example, this paper makes an in-depth study of what tactics a single UAV should adopt when facing the interception of multiple enemy UAV groups. According to the analysis of the impact diagram, the aerial range of the UAV standoff defines a threat area, that is, when the UAV arrives at the threat area, it needs to adopt a strategy for penetration, or it will be intercepted. The strategy adopted by UAV in the threat area is analyzed, and the decision control method is made.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, the usage of machine learning models is gradually becoming part of our daily lives. High-quality models rely not only on efficient optimization algorithms but also on the training and learning processes built upon vast amounts of data and computational power. However, in practice, due to various challenges such as limited computational resources and data privacy concerns, users in need of models often cannot train machine learning models locally. This has led them to explore alternative approaches such as outsourced learning and federated learning. While these methods address the feasibility of model training effectively, they introduce concerns about the trustworthiness of the training process since computations are not performed locally. Similarly, there are trustworthiness issues associated with outsourced model inference. These two problems can be summarized as the trustworthiness problem of model computations: How can one verify that the results computed by other participants are derived according to the specified algorithm, model, and input data? To address this challenge, verifiable machine learning (VML) has emerged. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of zero-knowledge proof-based verifiable machine learning (ZKP-VML) technology. We first analyze the potential verifiability issues that may exist in different machine learning scenarios. Subsequently, we provide a formal definition of ZKP-VML. We then conduct a detailed analysis and classification of existing works based on their technical approaches. One chatbot per person: Creating personalized chatbots based on implicit user profiles

Personalized chatbots focus on endowing chatbots with a consistent personality to behave like real users, give more informative responses, and further act as personal assistants. Existing personalized approaches tried to incorporate several text descriptions as explicit user profiles. However, the acquisition of such explicit profiles is expensive and time-consuming, thus being impractical for large-scale real-world applications. Moreover, the restricted predefined profile neglects the language behavior of a real user and cannot be automatically updated together with the change of user interests. In this paper, we propose to learn implicit user profiles automatically from large-scale user dialogue history for building personalized chatbots. Specifically, leveraging the benefits of Transformer on language understanding, we train a personalized language model to construct a general user profile from the user's historical responses. To highlight the relevant historical responses to the input post, we further establish a key-value memory network of historical post-response pairs, and build a dynamic post-aware user profile. The dynamic profile mainly describes what and howthe user has responded to similar posts in history. To explicitly utilize users' frequently used words, we design a personalized decoder to fuse two decoding strategies, including generating a word from the generic vocabulary and copying one word from the user's personalized vocabulary. A Low-rank Matching Attention based Cross-modal Feature Fusion Method for Conversational Emotion Recognition

Conversational emotion recognition (CER) is an important research topic in human-computer interactions. Although recent advancements in transformer-based cross-modal fusion methods have shown promise in CER tasks, they tend to overlook the crucial intra-modal and inter-modal emotional interaction or suffer from high computational complexity. To address this, we introduce a novel and lightweight cross-modal feature fusion method called Low-Rank Matching Attention Method (LMAM). LMAM effectively captures contextual emotional semantic information in conversations while mitigating the quadratic complexity issue caused by the self-attention mechanism. Specifically, by setting a matching weight and calculating inter-modal features attention scores row by row, LMAM requires only one-third of the parameters of self-attention methods. We also employ the low-rank decomposition method on the weights to further reduce the number of parameters in LMAM. As a result, LMAM offers a lightweight model while avoiding overfitting problems caused by a large number of parameters. Moreover, LMAM is able to fully exploit the intra-modal emotional contextual information within each modality and integrates complementary emotional semantic information across modalities by computing and fusing similarities of intra-modal and inter-modal features simultaneously. Experimental results verify the superiority of LMAM compared with other popular cross-modal fusion methods on the premise of being more lightweight. Also, LMAM can be embedded into any existing state-of-the-art CER methods in a plug-and-play manner, and can be applied to other multi-modal recognition tasks, e.g., session recommendation and humour detection, demonstrating its remarkable generalization ability. The traditional association rule representation method has no way to show the essential relationship between concepts and lacks understanding of the concept level. Concept lattice is a kind of data structure which can show the relationship between concepts, concept lattice also has unique advantages in the visualization and discovery of potential knowledge of association rules. In this paper, a visualization algorithm of association rules based on concept lattice is proposed. The algorithm visually displays the association rules extracted from concept lattice. Finally, this article combines the chronic disease record data of a certain hospital to analyze and visualize the association rules. The implementation results show that the visualization method has good effects in knowledge analysis and data display.

Neural models produce promising results when solving Vehicle Routing Problems (VRPs), but may often fall short in generalization. Recent attempts to enhance model generalization often incur unnecessarily large training cost or cannot be directly applied to other models solving different VRP variants. To address these issues, we take a novel perspective on model architecture in this study. Specifically, we propose a plug-and-play Entropy-based Scaling Factor (ESF) and a Distribution-Specific (DS) decoder to enhance the size and distribution generalization, respectively. ESF adjusts the attention weight pattern of the model towards familiar ones discovered during training when solving VRPs of varying sizes. The DS decoder explicitly models VRPs of multiple training distribution patterns through multiple auxiliary light decoders, expanding the model representation space to encompass a broader range of distributional scenarios. We conduct extensive experiments on both synthetic and widely recognized real-world benchmarking datasets and compare the performance with seven baseline models. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of using ESF and DS decoder to obtain a more generalizable model and showcase their applicability to solve different VRP variants, i.e., travelling salesman problem and capacitated VRP. Notably, our proposed generic components require minimal computational resources, and can be effortlessly integrated into conventional generalization strategies to further elevate model generalization. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and semantic networks, knowledge graphs have received extensive attention in various application domains. As a domain knowledge graph, a genealogical knowledge graph has significant research value in the family blood, family culture, and medical genetic analysis. However, as the identical relationship often has different names and complex relationships such as divorce, remarriage, and polygamy, the reasoning based on the genealogical knowledge graph is a challenging task. In response to this problem, we propose a scheme for kinship reasoning in the genealogical knowledge graph. First, based on real genealogical revision experiences, a character ontology framework in the genealogical knowledge graph is defined, and basic kinship reasoning rules are designed. Then, given different definitions of kinship in different surnames, the solution of custom reasoning rules is integrated into the reasoning framework. In addition, aiming at complex relationships in family trees, such as multiple generations of ancestors and multiple wives, a series of inference optimization methods are proposed. Finally, we implement this scheme in the Huapu system, and the experimental results conducted on a real genealogical dataset demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of our proposed scheme.

In this paper, we investigate an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assistant air-to-ground communication system, where multiple UAVs form a UAV-enabled virtual antenna array (UVAA) to communicate with remote base stations by utilizing collaborative beamforming. To improve the work efficiency of the UVAA, we formulate a UAV-enabled collaborative beamforming multi-objective optimization problem (UCBMOP) to simultaneously maximize the transmission rate of the UVAA and minimize the energy consumption of all UAVs by optimizing the positions and excitation current weights of all UAVs. This problem is challenging because these two optimization objectives conflict with each other, and they are non-concave to the optimization variables. Moreover, the system is dynamic, and the cooperation among UAVs is complex, making traditional methods take much time to compute the optimization solution for a single task. In addition, as the task changes, the previously obtained solution will become obsolete and invalid. To handle these issues, we leverage the multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL) to address the UCBMOP. Specifically, we use the heterogeneous-agent trust region policy optimization (HATRPO) as the basic framework, and then propose an improved HATRPO algorithm, namely HATRPO-UCB, where three techniques are introduced to enhance the performance. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can learn a better strategy compared with other methods. Graph pattern matching has been widespread used for protein structure analysis, expert finding and social group selection, ect. Recently, the study of graph pattern matching using the abundant attribute information of vertices and edges as constraint conditions has attracted the attention of scholars, and multi-constrained simulation has been proposed to address the problem in contextual social networks. Actually, multi-constrained graph pattern matching is an NP-complete problem and the fuzziness of constraint variables may exist in many applications. In this paper, we introduce a multi-fuzzy-constrained graph pattern matching problem in big graph data, and propose an efficient first-k algorithm Fuzzy-ETOF-K for solving it. Specifically, exploration-based method based on edge topology is adopted to improve the efficiency of edge connection, and breadth-first bounded search is used for edge matching instead of shortest path query between two nodes to improve the efficiency of edge matching. The results of our experiments conducted on three datasets of real social networks illustrate that our proposed algorithm Fuzzy-ETOF-K significantly outperforms existing approaches in efficiency and the introduction of fuzzy constraints makes our proposed algorithm more efficient and effective. © 2020 - IOS Press and the authors.
