Taxonomy mining plays an important role for organizing and structuring of data in Content management systems (CMS). In this paper, we propose a novel approach that leverages multidimensional knowledge representation (MKR) for taxonomy mining from text documents and enriching the extracted information via Large Language Model (LLM). The data originates from a Smart City project in Germany, which addresses housing, care and health for elderly people. The applied method involves the extraction of relevant keywords from text and the utilization of the MKR framework to analyze and represent the information. Results are provided for a context builder that utilizes GPT-4 to enrich the taxonomy. The enriched taxonomy is then used in a WordPress CMS for information search, structuring and tagging of the blog entries accordingly. © 2024 IEEE.

In emergencies, treatment needs to be fast, accu-rate and patient-specific. For instance, in emergency scenarios, obstacles like treatment environments and medical difficulties can lead to bad outcomes for patients. Additionally, a drastic change of health vitals can force paramedics to shift to a different treatment in the ongoing treatment of the patient in order to save a patient's life. The KIRETT (engl.: 'Artificial intelligence in rescue operations ') demonstrator is developed to provide a rescue operator with a wrist-worn device, enabling treatment recommendation (with the help of knowledge graph) with situation detection models to improve the emergency treatment of a patient. This paper aims to provide a qualitative evaluation of the 2-days testing in the KIRETT project with the focus of knowledge graphs, knowledge fusion, and user-experience-design (UX-design). © 2024 IEEE.

Metadata play an important role in the organization of information. As data about data, they explain how information relates to one another, in what chronological sequence it arises, or what hierarchical structures can be formed. In the content management system of the smart city project 'LOKAL-digital', metadata is utilized for the structuring of information in the areas of housing, health and care. This paper gives practical approaches for the implementation of metadata management in the development of the information portal and reports on the lessons learned in building the knowledge management solution. The use of metadata for structuring and searching content is discussed in various use cases. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates the learning capability and adaptability of a digital consulting assistant in the WordPress Content management System (CMS). The assistant is used in the Smart City context for advice and information in the areas of care, housing and digitalization. The results originated from the LOKAL-digital project, a digitalization project at the municipal level in the city of Netphen, which is located in the rural area of the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein, Germany. The aim of this research was to analyze the opportunities and challenges of integrating consulting assistants in content management systems and to investigate technical possibilities, e.g. via plugins, to continuously adapt to the needs of the users. By combining methods from artificial intelligence, personalized recommendations and contextual feedback, the goal is to create an optimal assistance experience for users. © 2023 IEEE.

Over the years, the need for rescue operations throughout the world has increased rapidly. Demographic changes and the resulting risk of injury or health disorders form the basis for emergency calls. In such scenarios, first responders are in a rush to reach the patient in need, provide first aid, and save lives. In these situations, they must be able to provide personalized and optimized healthcare in the shortest possible time and estimate the patient’s condition with the help of freshly recorded vital data in an emergency situation. However, in such a time-dependent situation, first responders and medical experts cannot fully grasp their knowledge and need assistance and recommendation for further medical treatments. To achieve this, on the spot calculated, evaluated, and processed knowledge must be made available to improve treatments by first responders. The knowledge Graph (KG) presented in this article as a central knowledge representation provides first responders with an innovative knowledge management that enables intelligent treatment recommendations with an artificial intelligence-based pre-recognition of the situation. © 2023 CEUR-WS. Manufacturing as an industry is under continuous pressure to deliver the right product, at the right quality, quantity and in time. To do so it becomes increasingly important to detect the source of manufacturing problems in a short amount of time but also to prevent further occurrence of know problems. Data Mining is focused on identifying problem patterns and inferring the right interpretation to trace and resolve the root cause in time. However, lessons learned are rarely transported into digital solutions that then thoroughly enable to automatize detection and resolving of incidents. Data mining models exist, but no structured approach for transforming and sustaining found solutions digitally. We are introducing Digit-DM as a structured and strategic process for digitizing analytical results. Digit-DM is building on top of existing data mining models but defines a strategic process for continuous digitization, enabling sustainable, digital manufacturing support, utilizing analytical lessons learned. © 2023 IEEE.

Throughout the ripples of digitization, companies and organizations are becoming smarter and equally dependent on information. Information is integrated along the value chain of organizations, while through industrial analytics and smart algorithms, information can be harnessed for manufacturing and business decisions. Together this shapes the idea of industry 4.0 - the organization as an interconnected world. However, analytical support is generated in the context of its recording and creation. So, to harness outcomes from different sources, it not only needs an information integration but furthermore an integration of context, into a representation strict enough for utilization and flexible enough to bridge the understanding across the organization. This work in progress introduces knowledge graphs as tools for contextualization and how to extract graphs from repositories of documents, as a representation of organizational knowledge. The graph will be harness in an industrial example to contextualize analytical solutions throughout teams and departments. © 2022 IEEE.

Healthcare and Medicine are under constant pressure to provide patient-driven medical expertise to ensure a fast and accurate treatment of the patient. In such scenarios, the diagnosis contains, the family history, long term medical data and a detailed consultation with the patient. In time-critical emergencies, such conversation and time-consuming elaboration are not possible. Rescue services need to provide fast, reliable treatments for the patient in need. With the help of modern technologies, like treatment recommendations, real-time vitals-monitoring, and situation detection through artificial intelligence (AI) a situation can be analyzed and supported in providing fast, accurate patient-data-driven medical treatments. In KIRETT, a wearable device is developed to support in such scenarios and presents a way to provide treatment recommendation in rescue services. The objective of this paper is to present the quantitative results of a two-day KIRETT evaluation (14 participants) to analyze the needs of rescue operators in healthcare.

The integration of vital signs in healthcare has witnessed a steady rise, promising health professionals to assist in their daily tasks to improve patient treatment. In life-threatening situations, like rescue operations, crucial decisions need to be made in the shortest possible amount of time to ensure that excellent treatment is provided during life-saving measurements. The integration of vital signs in the treatment holds the potential to improve time utilization for rescuers in such critical situations. They furthermore serve to support health professionals during the treatment with useful information and suggestions. To achieve such a goal, the KIRETT project serves to provide treatment recommendations and situation detection, combined on a wrist-worn wearable for rescue *** paper aims to present the significant role of vital signs in the improvement of decision-making during rescue operations and show their impact on health professionals and patients in need.
