Compressive sensing(CS) has inspired significant interest because of its compressive capability and lack of complexity on the sensor side. In this paper, we present a study of three sampling patterns and investigate their performance on CS reconstruction. We then propose a new image fusion algorithm in the compressive domain by using an improved sampling pattern. There are few studies regarding the applicability of CS to image fusion. The main purpose of this work is to explore the properties of compressive measurements through different sampling patterns and their potential use in image fusion. The study demonstrates that CS-based image fusion has a number of perceived advantages in comparison with image fusion in the multiresolution (MR) domain. The simulations show that the proposed CS-based image fusion algorithm provides promising results. Copyright © 2010 ACM.

Improving detection definition is a pivotal problem for intrusion detection. Many intelligent algorithms were used to improve the detection rate and reduce the false rate. Traditional SOM cannot provide the precise clustering results to us, while traditional K-Means depends on the initial value serious and it is difficult to find the center of cluster easily. Therefore, in this paper we introduce a new algorithm, first, we use SOM gained roughly clusters and center of clusters, then, using K-Means refine the clustering in the SOM stage. At last of this paper we take KDD CUP-99 dataset to test the performance of the new algorithm. The new algorithm overcomes the defects of traditional algorithms effectively. Experimental results show that the new algorithm has a good stability of efficiency and clustering accuracy. © 2010 IEEE.

Classical linear dimensional reduction algorithms, such as Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and Locality Preserving Projections (LPP) have been widely used in computer vision and pattern recognition. However, when dealing with the multidimensional dataset, they usually first transform the original data to vectors, and then analyze the data in such a high dimensional space. This process inevitably results in some obvious disadvantages. This paper proposes a novel two-dimensional dimensionality reduction algorithm called 2D Neighborhood Discriminant Projection (2D-NDP), which is based directly on 2D image matrices rather than 1D vectors. 2D-NDP detects the intrinsic class-relationships between the images by incorporating both class lab.l information and neighborhood information. It can optimally preserve not only the local class information but discriminant information as well. Under the orthogonal constrain, 2D-NDP is developed as orthogonal 2D-NDP for classification. Experiments on the face database and the plant leaf database demonstrate that orthogonal 2D-NDP is effective and feasible for classification. © 2010 IEEE.

In this paper, an efficient feature extraction algorithm called orthogonal linear local spline discriminant embedding (O-LLSDE) is proposed for face recognition. Derived from local spline embedding (LSE), O-LLSDE not only inherits the advantages of LSE which uses local tangent space as a representation of the local geometry so as to preserve the local structure, but also makes full use of class information and orthogonal subspace to improve discriminant power. Extensive experiments on standard face databases demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2010 IEEE.

In the field of pattern recognition and machine learning, many problems are involved in the tasks of dimensionality reduction and then classification. In this paper, we develop an efficient dimensionality reduction method named MiniRisk Supervised Discrimiant Projection (MRSDP), which extracts effective low-dimensional features for classification purpose. The proposed method utilizes discriminant information to guide the procedure of extracting intrinsic low-dimensional features and provides a linear projection matrix. Since MRSDP is based on minimax risk criterion, it can minimize the maximal probability of misclassification in the common borders of different classes of data by contracting within-class scatter and maximizing between-class scatter. The advantage of our method is borne out by comparison with other widely used methods. In the experiments on Yale face database and ORL face database, our method achieves constantly superior performance than those competing methods. © 2010 IEEE.

The PMCHWT equation of the double negative media (DNG) is obtained based on its constitutive relationship. And the surface currents and radar cross section (RCS) at a single frequency point is computed by Method of moments (MOM). The asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique for dispersive dielectric medium is deduced and apllied to electromagnetic scattering analysis of double-negative medium within a given frequency band. ©2010 IEEE.

A data based intelligent decision support system is proposed to solve problems of decision making of tourism management in complex environments. Firstly, the architecture of the decision support system integrated with several intelligence technologies is proposed, and some key technologies of implementation, such as 3S and decomposition of large decision table are also introduced. Then, some data analysis methods used in this decision support system are presented, which include tourism information categories, space time pattern of tourism status, tourism planning and navigation, early warning of tourism status and safety incidents. A new incident source with different angles was constructed for dealing with wide-angle scattering problems. Considering the impendence matrix in method of moments (MOM) is independent from incident angles, the equivalent relationship between induced current and the measured CS-current was build, while the CS-current can be computed directly under the new incident source. Finally, we can reconstruct the induce current by utilizing the theory of compressive sensing (CS). Compared with traditional MOM, the computational complexity can be greatly reduced. ©2010 IEEE.

At present,the internet pornographic text is in varied forms and changeful, although it is prohibited ever. It severely harms people's mental and physical health development and social stability. There are IP-based,keyword-based and intelligent content analysis filtering systems against it today. But they are difficult to deal with manifestations of diversity, changeful, and increasingly concealed porn. In this paper, a in-depth research has done for the appeared characteristics of such undesirable information on our statistical analysis. And based on this characteristics, a new text pre-processing algorithm PA-PTCI is proposed, and a effective model combined with content filtering technology to the current text information filtering pornography problem is designed. The experimental result shows the PA-PTCI algorithm and the proposed model are quite effective. ©2010 IEEE.

In order to support mobile service of long-distance monitoring and controlling UPS based on Web, a kind of design and implementation solution of embedded UPS (EUPS) system is brought forward in this paper. The design and implementation of system is based on ATmega161 and RTL8019AS with TCP/IP protocol suite for communication. In the EUPS system, an embedded file system is designed and implemented which can store the data and index information on a serial EEPROM chip in structured way and communicate with MCU through I2C bus. By embedding the file system into UPS system or other information appliances, users can browse and manipulate local data on the web client side. Based on our experimental tests, the performance of EUPS can meet the requirements of Web-based mobile services. © 2010 Binary Information Press.
