This paper considers the circuit method for neutralizing the effect of parasitic components of the collector load in silicon-germanium (SiGe) and silicon-on-insulator (SOI) classical cascade amplifiers and common-base stages on their voltage gain (Gain). The article demonstrates that the incorporation of a dedicated compensating circuit into the original circuits enables the enhancement of their upper frequency limit or gain by a factor of 5 to 10. The conditions for mitigating the impact of resistor parasites, which contribute to losses in planar inductance, on the Q-factor of the RLC-circuit of the selective amplifier are established. It is recommended that the proposed circuit solutions be employed in practical applications involving SiGe and SOI analog chips operating at elevated temperatures.

Quaternion based Three-Dimensional Impact Angle Constrained Guidance

This paper proposes quaternion based three-dimensional guidance strategies, which ensure target interception with zero miss distance. Unlike most of the existing guidance strategies, the guidance command in this paper is derived using coupled engagement dynamics, which helps to maintain satisfactory performance for the engagements where decoupling is no longer valid. To avoid the well known possible singularities due to Euler’s representation, a quaternion based representation of three-dimensional engagement is utilized. This facilitates the proposed guidance strategy to remain applicable and effective for wider range. In addition, guidance strategy is also derived to ensure target interception at a desired impact angle, which is expressed in terms of desired line-of-sight quaternion. Simulation results are shown to evaluate the efficacy of proposed guidance strategies for various engagement scenarios.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are autonomous systems with embedded intelligence. Despite the numerous advantages they bring, multiple problems have been arisen in the past, like collision detection and avoidance of multiple aerial aircrafts. The recent advances of on-board sensors and computation devices have allowed complete ground-breaking improvements, in the present and forthcoming navigation of multiple UAVs. These are now fostering the implantation of the next generation of autonomous aerial aircrafts, with a growing potential in important sectors like precision agriculture. Industries like, Drone hopper, are developing new advanced aerial platforms that will provide deep support to automation in the agriculture fields where it is necessary to optimize multiple trajectories of UAVs to accomplish tasks, such as, fumigation, irrigation, and strengthening plant growth. Precise measurements and UAV’s trajectory planning are necessary task for the complete coverage optimization problem. In this paper, we analyze and simulate a fully distributed solution with a self-awareness approach. Our solution has been tested in simulation (code, video) and it will be applied in a near future to real operations in outdoor environments using efficient and robust platforms provided by the Drone Hopper company.

Deviated Pursuit based Nonlinear Impact-Time Guidance with Finite-Time Convergence

This paper proposes two finite-time convergent guidance schemes to intercept a constant velocity target at a pre-specified impact-time. The guidance commands exploit the archetype of deviated pursuit scheme to facilitate the synthesis of impact-time constrained guidance strategies. Deviated pursuit guidance offers an exact expression of time-to-go, thereby circumventing the errors associated with approximate time-to-go estimates. The guidance strategy is derived using nonlinear engagement dynamics, which helps in avoiding errors due to linearization. The first guidance strategy is based on traditional sliding mode control with constant rate reaching law. The second guidance scheme utilizes super-twisting control, which is a higher-order sliding mode technique avowed for guaranteeing finite-time convergence and better control precision. Finally, simulations are presented to invigorate the theoretical claims and it is also shown through simulations that the desired impact-time can even be lower than the initial time-to-go value.

At present, with the development of modern IT technologies and artificial intelligence methods, it is relevant to develop adaptive distance education systems for students of technical specialties capable of providing a personalized cognitive approach to the process of obtaining knowledge and timely adjustment of the learning trajectory. Particular difficulties arise when teaching the principles of operation of complex industrial equipment based on microprocessor technology, the basics of programming and the development of automatic control systems based on them. The problems associated with the complexity of adapting technical training courses for specific students and the peculiarities of information perception in the absence of direct contact with the teacher can be successfully solved with the introduction of algorithms based on a unified artificial immune system (UAIS). An innovative e-learning technology is proposed for students of engineering specialties in order to obtain high-quality technical professional education in a short time on real industrial equipment. When creating the technology and predicting the learning outcomes of students, immunological homeostasis was used to quickly correct the learning process. UAIS was developed on the basis of modified clonal selection, negative selection and immune network algorithms in order to identify the most effective of them in predicting multivariate dynamic data about students and forming an adequate immune response to maintain immunological homeostasis. The main stages and advantages of the proposed technology are given. The simulation results were obtained with the participation of students of the Faculty of Information Technology on the basis of the Kazakh-British Technical University.

Aiming at the problems that the mobile power supply in the market cannot output AC voltage and manually adjustable DC voltage at the same time, expensive and cannot be accurately located, an intelligent mobile power sharing and rental system based on BeiDou navigation is designed. The device mainly consists of three major parts: power circuit module, controller module and mobile APP, which solves a series of problems such as location finding, rental use, visual power management and positioning return of shared power by users. The power circuit module converts the battery voltage into 220V AC output and adjustable DC precision output. The controller module realizes the functions of power supply DC output voltage collection, Battery power Detection, Beidou positioning and data uploading to the server. The mobile APP realizes the functions such as displaying the location, voltage, power and other data of multiple power supply units and sharing the rental under the shared rental mode by the APP. The system realized in this paper can greatly promote the development of China's shared energy storage industry and effectively change the current dilemma that people have difficulties in using electricity outdoors.

The study of resilient control of linear time-invariant (LTI) systems against denial-of-service (DoS) attacks is gaining popularity in emerging cyber-physical applications. In previous works, explicit system models are required to design a predictor-based resilient controller. These models can be either given a priori or obtained through a prior system identification step. Recent research efforts have focused on data-driven control based on pre-collected input-output trajectories (i.e., without explicit system models). In this paper, we take an initial step toward data-driven stabilization of stochastic LTI systems under DoS attacks, and develop a resilient model predictive control (MPC) scheme driven purely by data-dependent conditions. The proposed data-driven control method achieves the same level of resilience as the model-based control method. For example, local input-to-state stability (ISS) is achieved under mild assumptions on the noise and the DoS attacks. To recover global ISS, two modifications are further suggested at the price of reduced resilience against DoS attacks or increased computational complexity. Finally, a numerical example is given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control method. © 2021, CC BY.

In a complex system of multiple entities coming together and transacting energy from various sources, incentivization and energy utilization are difficult to achieve due to inefficiencies in current mechanisms set up to generate, distribute, utilize, and manage energy within varying ecosystems. We provide a solution to this by proposing a tokenized blockchain-based renewable/non-renewable energy ecosystem built on Automated Market Makers with an underlying Constant Function *** this work, we proved the feasibility of achieving a more efficient means of trading, controlling, and managing energy from multiple RE/NRE energy sources using AMMs. In this approach, we remove the need for buyers and sellers’ influence in the energy market and provide an automated means of ensuring energy flow, pricing, and regulation without the need for third parties. We were able to maintain the decarbonization degree of the entire system through the deployment of the decarbonization mechanism at a cost of 584,213 Wei, proving a self-realizing decarbonization mechanism. We observed a cost of 1,255,219 Wei for both RE/NRE participants to engage the network, showing a faster means of transacting among energy parties. A cheaper cost of 2,497,561 Wei was achieved for setting up the network for trading, a cost of 2,500,666 Wei for rebalancing energy prices, and a cost of 1,836,918 Wei for the management of the entire network. Our results thus prove the ability of our proposed idea to ensure the effective generation, control, and distribution of energy across energy ecosystems. It also offers flexibility to address the complexity within energy ecosystems. Its incentivization mechanism ensures the continuous generation of rewards, ensuring the continuity of energy systems achieved by leveraging the transparency inherent in token mechanisms in blockchain technology. © 2024, The Authors. To obtain precise motion control of wafer stages, an adaptive neural network and fractional-order super-twisting control strategy is proposed. Based on sliding mode control (SMC), the proposed controller aims to address two challenges in SMC: 1) reducing the chattering phenomenon, and 2) attenuating the influence of model uncertainties and disturbances. For the first challenge, a fractional-order terminal sliding mode surface and a super-twisting algorithm are integrated into the SMC design. To attenuate uncertainties and disturbances, an add-on control structure based on the radial basis function (RBF) neural network is introduced. Stability analysis of the closed-loop control system is provided. Finally, experiments on a wafer stage testbed system are conducted, which proves that the proposed controller can robustly improve the tracking performance in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances compared to conventional and previous controllers. © 2021, CC BY.

Finite-time Convergent Impact Angle Constrained Sliding Mode Guidance ⁎

This paper proposes an impact angle constrained guidance strategy based on sliding mode control. The proposed guidance strategy not only ensures the target interception at a desired impact angle but also ensures the alignment of interceptor in a desired impact direction within a predefined-time, whose least upper bound can be pre-fixed. Guidance command is derived using nonlinear engagement dynamics, after transforming the problem of impact angle control to that of tracking a desired line-of-sight angle and its rate. Proposed guidance strategy also guarantees the convergence of the controlled variables within a priori fixed-time, from almost all initial conditions. Due to the nonlinear design framework and choice of the controller, the possible difficulties due to linearizations are avoided and thereby proposed guidance remains applicable even for engagements with large heading errors. Numerical simulations validate the efficacy of the proposed guidance scheme for stationary and constant velocity targets, for different engagement geometries.
