Semi-structured Chinese document anlysis is the most diffcult task for complex structure and Chinese semantics. According to the generic characteristics of the semi-structured document and the specific characteristics of the resume document, the paper researched on resume document block anlysis based on pattern matching, multi-level information identification and feedback control algorithms was also prompted. Based on the research, Resume Parser system was implemented for ChinaHR, which is the biggest recruitment website. It can read, analysis, retrieval and store the information automatically. According to all kinds of experienments results, the accuracy and efficiency of this system can generally satisfy the practical requirements. As the research on the processing of the semi-structured document, it will not only be as a directive of the further research on the resume analysis, but also be as the reference to other form of the semi-structured document. © 2008 IEEE.

This paper introduces and analyzes some experiments to find valid methods and features in enterprise search. For this purpose, two main experiments have been done. One is to retrieve some emails which contain the required information in all the emails of an enterprise, and the other is to try to find some experts who are helpful in a particular fields. Some features of the intranet dataset, such as the subject, the author, the date and the thread, are proved to be useful when searching an email. A new two-stage rank method which is different from traditional IR is introduced for expert search.

NETCONF is a new protocol as the network becomes more and more complexity, which has a better capability administering lots of devices. However, the large scale network brings some trouble for implementing access control especially when administers need to deploy or update policies on each devices. In this regard, the architecture of centralized access control proxy server based on NETCONF is focused, which realizes policies management and authorization centralized and raises administration efficiency. In order to figure it out absolutely, we present the basic theory giving the detailed illustration about components of the architecture. Finally, we describe how dose the architecture work based on NETCONF. © 2010 IEEE.

Character segmentation and recognition are important steps in the automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) system. The skew license plate has a great influence on the accurate character segmentation and recognition. To solve the problem, an efficient approach for skew correction of license plate is proposed. First, the plate image is divided into a set of 5x5 non-overlapping blocks. The local orientation of each black is estimated by gradients of pixels in the block. The horizontal incline angle of license plate is detected by the local maximum of the direction angle histogram. The plate image is rotated according to this angle. Then, the vertical distortion of license plate image was corrected by the single-character projection method. The experimental results demonstrate the great robustness and efficiency of proposed method. © 2010 IEEE.

The vehicle detection and tracking in driving assistance system are ordinarily achieved by the optical or radar technology. In this work, we explore video processing for driving assistance system. An object’s detection and tracking system based on the Faster R-CNN and Camshift algorithm is proposed, and Kalman filtering algorithm is used to predict the position of objects. Our system differs with other object-tracking algorithms based on deep learning, which directly detects each frame and has no tracking part, such as YOLO and SSD. We also introduce an evaluation criterion for driving assistance system according to the dangerous level of the surrounding cars. Through the experiments on the videos recorded by drive recorder, we show that our approach can achieve better performance in complex scenes than YOLO or SSD and can satisfy the real-time requirement by processing 30 frames per second. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

Orthogonal Defect Classification (ODC) is a kind of defect analysis method invented by IBM. ODC classifies software defects by eight orthogonal attributes. By analyzing these attributes' distribution and increasing trend the software process information could be obtained. It has been used widely in many companies and organizations. In this paper, we focus on the ODC records collected in a company, and research to use these data to provide guidance in actual defect management to improve the efficiency of the classification. We study the relationships of these attributes and give a Bayesian Network model, then with the help of the ODC records we got, a Bayesian Network for ODC is presented. It shows great help in actual work for both the developers and the testers. ©2009 IEEE.

Deep zero-shot learning for scene sketch

We introduce a novel problem of scene sketch zero-shot learning (SSZSL), which is a challenging task, since (i) different from photo, the gap between common semantic domain (e.g., word vector) and sketch is too huge to exploit common semantic knowledge as the bridge for knowledge transfer, and (ii) compared with single-object sketch, more expressive feature representation for scene sketch is required to accommodate its high-level of abstraction and complexity. To overcome these challenges, we propose a deep embedding model for scene sketch zero-shot learning. In particular, we propose the augmented semantic vector to conduct domain alignment by fusing multi-modal semantic knowledge (e.g., cartoon image, natural image, text description), and adopt attention-based network for scene sketch feature learning. Moreover, we propose a novel distance metric to improve the similarity measure during testing. Extensive experiments and ablation studies demonstrate the benefit of our sketch-specific design. This paper developed two learning procedure, respectively, based on the orthogonal least squares (OLS) method and the "Innovation- Contribution" criterion (ICc) proposed newly. The orthogonal use of the stepwise-regression algorithm of the ICc mages the model structure independent of the selected term sequence and reduces the cluster region further as compared with orthogonal least squares (OLS). as the Bayesian information criteria (BIC) method is incorporate into the clustering process of the ICc, except for the widths of Gaussian functions, it has no other parameter that need tuning ,but the user is required to specify the tolerance ρ, which is relevant to noises and will be difficult to implement in the real system, for the OLS algorithm. The two algorithms are employed to the Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNN) to compare its performance for different noise nonlinear dynamic systems. Experimental results show that they provide an efficient approximation to the required results for fitting models, but the clustering procedures of the ICc is substantially better solutions than does the OLS. © 2009 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

With the development of remote sensing technique, onboard data compression has become an urgent need and a lot of study has been directed toward the development of efficient techniques. In this paper, the construction approach of integer Haar is discussed briefly, and a'simple image compression scheme based on integer Haar Wavelet Transform and block DPCM is proposed. The scheme can be easily designed for data processing in real-time system of remote sensing with parellel algorithm. Simulation experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach is a efficient image compression method. © 2002 IEEE.
