In order to solve the problem of flight delay forecasting including the characteristics of airport flight operation, a new composite forecasting model based on the danger model theory and the grey model theory is proposed in this paper. The composite prediction method in this paper uses the pattern of weighted composition which is according to the occupancy proportion of the mean square errors forecasting .The model use the modified approach reflects the periodicity. The experimental result shows that the prediction results is qualified, the new model can meet the requirement of real—time prediction for the management of emergency departments.

Increasing integration time can improve the detection performance of weak targets. However, the signal energy could not be effectively accumulated, because the high-speed motion of a target induces range migration and Doppler walk in long-time coherent integration period. Thus the motion compensation is necessary. Unfortunately, the traditional methods based on keystone transform are only suitable for uniform motion targets, while the range curvature of maneuvering targets can not be corrected by keystone transform. In this paper, for moving target with constant acceleration and Doppler ambiguity, a new method is proposed by constructing the two-dimensional compression function in range-Doppler frequency domain, which can eliminate the coupling effect between range and azimuth. This method does not require target velocity parameters and can correct the range migration caused by radial velocity and radial acceleration. The proposed algorithm can be efficiently implemented by using fast Fourier transform without interpolation and thus has low computational complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the performance for detecting high-speed maneuvering targets.

In this paper we propose two efficient low-area, low-power folded VLSI architectures for linear prediction error filter. One of them is based on the split-Levinson-Durbin and requires half computational complexity of an architecture based on the Levinson-Durbin algorithm. The other one is based on the Schur algorithm. Using folding method, the number of multipliers and adders is minimized. In addition, by modifications in data scheduling, the number of required multiplexers are also decreased. Comparison with previous architectures demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed architectures with respect to hardware and computational complexity. Copyright 2012 ACM.

In this paper, a three layer artificial neural network is proposed that, independent of Root note selection, classifies the Persian musical Dastgahs into five main groups: Shur, Homayun, Segah, Chahargah and Mahur. It implies the training of the network in order to be able to classify all of 120 possible cases for the Persian musical Dastgahs based on 24 different Root notes in an octave of Persian music. The network receives a vector of 24 possible notes of an octave in which the used notes are represented by a “1” and unused notes are represented by a “0”. After training, the network is able to correctly classify 100 percent of the 120 possible cases for Persian musical Dastgahs in five main groups.

In this paper, a literature frontier evaluation method based on latent semantic analysis was proposed in terms of collection of front keywords and the surface information of literature. Firstly, to build the collection of front keywords, the frontier metric of keyword was studied for evaluating the frontier of keyword. Secondly, the collection of front literatures was achieved according to the built collection of front keywords and the latent semantic space of front literatures was built in terms of the front literatures' surface information such as title, keywords and abstract. Finally, the frontier of new literature was evaluated in terms of the frontier of each front literature, the semantic relevance with each front literature, and the impact factor of the journal which the new literature belonged to. The experimental results show that the collection of front keywords built by proposed frontier metric outperforms the academic hotspots achieved by the existing research platform of academic hotspots, and the proposed method is proved to be reasonable with the positive correlation between the frontier score of new literature and each of the impact factor of journal and the published year of literature.
