Multi-Source information Fusion(MSIF),as a comprehensive interdisciplinary field based on modern information technology,has gained significant research value and extensive application prospects in various domains,attracting high attention and interest from scholars,engineering experts,and practitioners *** achieving fruitful results in both theoretical and applied aspects over the past five decades,there remains a lack of comprehensive and systematic review articles that provide an overview of recent development in *** light of this,this paper aims to assist researchers and individuals interested in gaining a quick understanding of the relevant theoretical techniques and development trends in MSIF,which conducts a statistical analysis of academic reports and related application achievements in the field of MSIF over the past two decades,and provides a brief overview of the relevant theories,methodologies,and application domains,as well as key issues and challenges currently ***,an analysis and outlook on the future development directions of MSIF are presented.

In this paper, we investigate fixed-time (FT) Nash equilibrium (NE) seeking problem for non-cooperative games. A novel second-order NE seeking neurodynamic system is proposed to accelerate the convergence. The proposed neurodynamic system's trajectory converges to NE within fixed-time under potential function and strongly monotone potential function respectively. It is shown that the upper bounds of the settling time are independent of the initial state of the system. The robustness of the proposed NE seeking neurodynamic system under bounded perturbations is further studied. The practicability of the proposed NE seeking system is illustrated via a simulation example and an analog circuit implementation on Multisim 14.3. © 2024 IEEE.

Mismatch losses significantly reduce the output power of photovoltaic (PV) arrays. Among available mismatch mitigate techniques, the dynamic reconfigurable photovoltaic array (DRPVA) architectures can be considered as a promising technique to compensate the power losses. In contrast to fixed photovoltaic architectures, the DRPVA architectures modify dynamically the interconnections between the PV modules of the same PV array (PVA) according to the operating conditions. This paper presents the different approaches of DRPVA architectures proposed in the literature. These approaches are classified according to the reconfiguration strategy adopted and compared in terms of power enhancement, topology used, and additional material required. Through this study, the main constraints limiting the DRPVA efficiency are determined and discussed. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Radiation Dose Optimization during Temporal Bone CT Examination Using One-Shot Axial Volumetric Acquisition

Introduction: The optimization of radiation exposure when exploring small and complex anatomical structures is the most important issue for temporal bone CT. The objective of this study is to use single-shot volume acquisition in order to minimize the dose and compare the obtained image quality to a conventional helical technique. Material and Methods: Twenty patients (8 males, 12 females) were scanned using the 135kVp single-shot volume mode (VMCT135-kVp) whereas other twenty patients (9 males, 11 females) were examined using the 120kVp helical mode (HMCT120-kVp). A physician-interpreter evaluated the subjective conspicuity of 53 structures in the temporal bone on a 5-point scale using multiplanar reconstruction (MPR). In addition, the image noise in both techniques was quantified by analyzing it in three different regions of interest (ROIs). Radiation dose reduction was noted and compared with literature-based effective dose dosimetry data. Results: The mean dose-length-product (DLP) for the VMCT135-kVp was (69.6±2.5 ***), which was significantly lower (p 0.05). Indeed, the overall analysis of the 53 anatomic structures revealed no differences between the two protocols, and most anatomic structures were identified. Conclusion: For temporal bone, the VMCT135-kVp scan significantly reduces radiation exposure compared to the HMCT120-kVp. The obtained dose was lower compared to the literature-based protocol while maintaining image visualization quality. © (2023), (Mashhad University of Medical Sciences). All Rights Reserved.

This has never been truer, especially with the fast growth of online education due to the pandemic around COVID19, posing a challenge for the electronic examinations‘ integrity for educational organizations. To this end, novel solutions leveraging state of the art deep learning techniques, including transfer learning models, have been launched recently. This study proposes to deploy a transfer learning framework to identify and classify cheating attempts in virtual assessments. This model analyzes candidates’ behavior and movement in real-time, as well as detecting unauthorized individuals in proximity, attempts to access mobile devices and potential aids for cheating, such as written notes. The base architecture is built off of MobileNetV2 trained on a dataset we call OEP, which we generated by screenshotting videos. Experimental results yield detection accuracy of 98.30%, superior to prior state-of-the-art models. Moreover, an ablation study based on the use of various pretrained models including InceptionV3, VGG-16, VGG-19, ResNet50 and AlexNet was performed to validate the performance of our approach. Below are the results of the evaluation, which highlight the accomplishments of our model in accurately identifying cheating during online tests, and prevent it before they happen.

Resource allocation, scheduling, and provisioning are indeed critical and complex issues in cloud computing environments, as they directly impact both the user experience and the profitability of cloud service providers. Also, the excessive use of resources and the fact that the required resources may exceed those available have raised additional challenges. The effective and optimal allocation of resources in this dynamic cloud environment poses a significant challenge due to the substantial increase in cloud utilization. Then, an energy-efficient task scheduling algorithm is required to improve the efficiency of the resource allocation process. This paper proposed an efficient and autonomous dynamic resource allocation in cloud computing with optimized task scheduling. We aim to minimize the cost of virtual machines and the makespan. Furthermore, its impact on the best response time and energy consumption has been studied. The simulation shows that our method gave better results than the former ones.

Carbonyl sulfide(COS)is an effective tracer for estimating Gross Primary Productivity(GPP)in the carbon *** the largest contribution to the atmosphere,anthropogenic COS emissions must be accurately *** this study,an anthropogenic COS emission inventory from 2015 to 2021 was constructed by applying the bottom-up approach based on activity data from emission ***’s anthropogenic COS emissions increased from approximately 171 to 198 Gg S yr^(-1)from 2015-2021,differing from the trends of other *** an initial decline in COS emissions across sectors during the early stage of the COVID-19 pandemic,a rapid rebound in emissions occurred following the resumption of economic *** 2021,industrial sources,coal combustion,agriculture and vehicle exhaust accounted for 76.8%,12.3%,10.5%and 0.4%of total COS emissions,*** aluminum industry was the primary COS emitter among industrial sources,contributing40.7% of total ***,Shanxi,and Zhejiang were the top three provinces in terms of anthropogenic COS emissions,reaching 39,21 and 17 Gg S yr-1,***-level regions(hereafter province)with high COS emissions are observed mainly in the eastern and coastal regions of China,which,together with the wind direction,helps explain the pattern of high COS concentrations in the Western Pacific Ocean in *** Green Contribution Coefficient of COS(GCCCOS)was used to assess the relationship between GDP and COS emissions,highlighting the disparity between GDP and COS contributions to green *** part of this analysis,relevant recommendations are proposed to address this *** COS emission inventory in our study can be used as input for the Sulfur Transport and Deposition Model(STEM),reducing uncertainties in the atmospheric COS source?sink budget and promoting understanding of the atmosphere sulfur cycle.

The rapid adoption of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) highlights the necessity for a robust testing environment to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of control algorithms. Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation constitutes a critical step in the validation of these systems prior to their deployment in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations or real-world flight trials. This study introduces the design and the implementation of a SIL simulation platform for UAV applications. The proposed environment integrates X-Plane 12 as a high-fidelity flight dynamics simulation engine, Python-based implementation of control algorithms, and a custom-designed Ground Control Station (GCS). The simulator enables performance evaluation of control algorithms throughout various trajectories and under diverse scenarios. Simulation outcomes validate the capability of the SIL simulation environment to accurately replicate UAV flight dynamics and generate meaningful insights into the performance and robustness of tested control algorithms.
