The evolution of Cloud Computing and the management of growing volumes of data require stable, high-performance and autonomous Data Centers. To guarantee the quality of optimal services, optimization and performance evaluation are essential to meet users' needs. This research highlights the importance of adapting infrastructures to ensure their long-term efficiency and sustainability. In particular, it examines the performance of the Elasticsearch engine during indexing and query processing, with the aim of preventing resource saturation. This paper presents the results of this viability study, focusing on the analysis of resource saturation. © 2024 IEEE.

The popularity of microservice architecture abbreviated MSA has attracted researchers and practitioners in recent years. MSA aims to divide the complex monolithic system from the service to the database into several autonomous blocks called microservices. In this way, updates and deployment of each service can be managed independently. The dissociation of data storage for each microservice is one of the particularities of this architecture. However, the manual implementation of certain tasks in the design and development of the MSA is time-consuming particularly with regard to data management. The objective of this article is therefore to automatically generate the data structure of a microservice from ReLEL in order to systematically derive the MSA databases. Our approach is based on the Praxeme methodology. It is realized in two stages. First, the semantic aspect is derived. Then, we develop ATL derivation rules to design the data structure. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

Light Field(LF)depth estimation is an important research direction in the area of computer vision and computational photography,which aims to infer the depth information of different objects in threedimensional scenes by capturing LF *** this new era of significance,this article introduces a survey of the key concepts,methods,novel applications,and future trends in this *** summarize the LF depth estimation methods,which are usually based on the interaction of radiance from rays in all directions of the LF data,such as epipolar-plane,multi-view geometry,focal stack,and deep *** analyze the many challenges facing each of these approaches,including complex algorithms,large amounts of computation,and speed *** addition,this survey summarizes most of the currently available methods,conducts some comparative experiments,discusses the results,and investigates the novel directions in LF depth estimation.

The measurement of aircraft noise is very important for the industry of air transportation, for residents and for the *** the United States of America, the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) has a managing tool for aircraft noise map called Aeronautical Environmental Design Tool (AEDT) (Boeker Fleming, 2008); in French Bruitparif is the tool which satisfies the European directive for noise map elaboration strategy. The noise map enables city authorities, residents, and the airport manager to control the noise produced by aeronautical activities in order to master, for instance, the building of infrastructures surrounding the airport zone - a dataset built with a relational data base management system obtained from secondary radar detection. These data, after having gone through a data cleaning process, will be brought and tested with functions such as Naive Bayes, decision tree and random forest. Based on confusion matrix as a metric, we assessed the provided result by the decision tree with metrics as “ 98% for precision, 97% for recall and 97% for f1-score”. This article emphasizes that on the one hand, the data used for machine learning have the same quality in terms of integrity and precision of the radar itself and on the other hand the performance resides on the confusion matrix.

Image registration is one of the essential elements in computer vision and several practical domains. Its objective is to recover a spatial transformation that aligns images. This is frequently formulated as an optimization problem based on an objective function that measures the quality of transformation with respect to the picture data and some prior information. This article revisits the concept of graph cuts as an effective optimization technique for image registration. We present a combination of graph cuts with superpixels segmentation via convolutional neural network (CNN), which produces a meaningful graph representation that can overcame the high computation cost. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In this paper, we discussed a new strategy to deploy the couple web service (REST and SOAP type) and BDI agent in a Java SE environment in order to obtain an Intelligent SOA. Deploying the BDI agent in a modern Web-App server or application server is a difficult task. The first reflex or first track on this deployment to create the pair web service and agent is to use the JEE server. But, there are alternative lightweight methods and simpler to build web services using Java SE, it is the use of APIs Non-Blocking Input Output (NIO API) technology Java. So our strategy is to exploit the Java NIO API framework, in particular, the NIO API Grizzly and Netty to run the BDI Agent and Web Service pairs in the same environment. Grizzly is used to take the role of a server of our application running in a Java SE environment in the one side. While Netty played the role of middleware to ensure communication between web services and BDI agents in the other side. The results of the proposed approach are BDI agents called Jason-RS and Jason-WS that are able to publish their capabilities in a web browser as a web service running on a Java SE environment. And, to prove our strategy, we conducted a case study using Jason-RS and Jason-WS. This has proven that the proposed approach provides intelligent SOA based on the pair BDI agent and the web service technology. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This paper proposes an artificial neural network (ANN)-based prediction model to accurately estimate green hydrogen production in the Dakhla Oued Ed-Dahab region, using detailed data ex-extracted from HOMER Pro software. This model aims to optimize the management of renewable energy resources in a smart microgrid, particularly with regard to hydrogen production and storage, a key solution for sustainable development. The approach integrates crucial parameters from renewable sources such as solar and wind power, as well as operational data from the microgrid. The results obtained show a high degree of model robustness with reliable predictions. This model can be directly integrated into an energy management system (EMS) to improve decisions related to hydrogen production and storage, contributing to better management of energy surpluses and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. Prospects include improving the model by integrating additional data and considering other environmental parameters. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This research work is the result of multidisciplinary research for the design of a digital learning tool from the basic level. computer science guarantees the technical concepts of the development of the tool. At the same time, Information and Communication Science discipline describes the concepts of cognitive psychology with digital competence in computerization. The overall goal of this work is to provide an HCI component for basic level learning or HCI for the illiterate. It is about transforming a communication tool from a cognitive system to a digital learning tool adapted to the learner’s level of digital competence. The author relies on the UML class diagram to identify the affordance and serendipity of HCI property entities. The mathematical study of the similarity between these two properties allows us to update the learner’s profile. Stephanie’s approach was used when managing the learner’s profile and the digital competency taxonomy to classify the learner’s level of digital use. The principle of an expert system was taken up in this work to make the decision on the level of digital competence of the learner and to guide the solution so that the learning continues without interruption. This expert system integrates the data science of digital educational materials, defining its specificity. The algorithm of the realization summarizes the implementation of the whole approach. αβGasy@mobile is an application on Android for Malagasy language literacy. To learn the letter “l” with this application, the initially low-level learner had an intermediate assessment score after 2 hours of continuous learning. Self-constructivism has been developed and strengthened by the HCI illiterate component. We have hundreds of learners for the case study and used ten smartphones to 5 inches. On the selected samples, the results of the experiment are close to our objective. More precisely, the inactive time is almost non-existent, the learning time predefined in the system is
