Co-salient object detection (CoSOD) aims to detect common salient objects across multiple related images. However, existing methods often struggle with limited attention coverage, missing some co-salient objects. To address this, we propose a two-stage feature processing module (FPM) comprising comprehensive feature extraction module (CFE) and feature enhancement module (FEM). CFE extracts comprehensive cosalient features while reducing background noise, and FEM enhances feature representation and adjusts attention weights for full object coverage. Additionally, we introduce an adversarial learning module (ALM) to improve prediction quality by reducing noise in the co-salient regions. Extensive experiments on three benchmark datasets—CoCA, CoSOD3k, and CoSal2015—demonstrate that our model significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods. The goal of Emotion Recognition in Conversations (ERC) is to accurately identify the emotions expressed in each utterance within a dialogue. Despite advancements made by current ERC methods, particularly those using RNN-based and GCN-based models to capture emotional dynamics and model speaker relationships, there remain two primary limitations: first, an insufficient integration of multiple feature representations and commonsense knowledge, which hampers the model's ability for deep emotional understanding; and second, the reliance on a single cross-entropy loss for classification optimization, which restricts the accuracy and robustness of emotion recognition. To address these issues, we propose a method for ERC using Multilayer Feature Fusion and Joint Loss Optimization (MFFJL). This approach combines contextual information, speaker dependency, and commonsense knowledge features by extracting feature vectors through RoBERTa and COMET, utilizing bidirectional LSTM and attention mechanisms to capture conversational context, and applying a cross-fusion module to deeply integrate various features, thus enhancing comprehension of complex emotional expressions. Additionally, the feature classification module incorporates joint cross-entropy and KL divergence optimization, further improving classification accuracy and consistency. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, as evidenced by superior performance on the IEMOCAP and MELD datasets. Our code is available at https://***/r/MFFJL-D9D8.

Recommender systems are critical for mitigating information overload, assisting users in uncovering their latent interests, and enhancing their overall experience. Sequential recommendation leverages users' historical interaction sequences to predict dynamic interests more effectively than traditional rec-ommendation approaches. However, existing models-including RNN-based and Transformer-based methods-face significant limitations. RNNs struggle with vanishing gradients and long-term dependency capture, while Transformers, though effective for long-range relationships, suffer from computational inefficiency due to their quadratic attention complexity. Recent advancements have employed contrastive learning for sequential recommendation, aiming to enhance the consistency between augmented views and improve self-supervised learning signals. Despite their promise, these methods often lack diversity in data augmentation strategies, which restricts their capacity for bias mitigation, resulting in augmented data that still retains inherent biases. To address these challenges, we propose MDEC, a novel sequential modeling framework that leverages State Space Models (SSM) combined with unbiased contrastive learning. MDEC utilizes Mamba to efficiently model user preferences as an alternative to Transformer-based models. Additionally, it integrates graph-based information, including item transition and co-interaction data, to improve data augmentation comprehensively. Finally, we introduce adaptive anchor-enhanced contrastive learning, which adaptively utilizes augmented samples to improve representation quality and bias mitigation. Extensive experiments on multiple datasets demonstrate that MDEC significantly out-performs existing models, showcasing improved efficiency, better mitigation of biases, and enhanced recommendation quality. In personalized recommendation systems, Graph Neural networks (GNNs) have gained attention for their ability to effectively model complex user-item interactions. The core concept of GNNs is to leverage ample and high-quality training data, recursively performing message passing along user-item interaction edges to progressively refine embedding representations. However, the highly imbalanced nature of user interaction data often leads traditional GNN-based recommendation systems to experience information redundancy, concentrating recommendations on a few popular items. Additionally, the long-tail problem further limits the visibility of less popular items, reducing recommendation diversity and impairing the user experience. In this paper, we propose a novel Diversity Augmented Graph Contrastive Learning method (DAGCL), which aims to increase recommendation diversity by improving the embedding generation process, while maintaining a balance between accuracy and diversity. Specifically, we design two graph augmentation methods, including a diversified subset selection module based on Deterministic Point Process (DPP) and a long-tail item interaction augmentation module, to generate diversified embeddings. Moreover, DAGCL incorporates contrastive learning, leveraging augmented views to optimize the recommendation process, alleviate data sparsity issue and capture potential user-item relationships. Experiments on two real-world datasets demonstrate that DAGCL significantly improves diversity while preserving recommendation accuracy, achieving an effective balance between these two aspects and validating its effectiveness. The proliferation of the Internet and the emergence of social media platforms have greatly accelerated the speed and scope of information dissemination, while also introducing the peril of fake news propagation, particularly in political, economic, health, and other domains. Many scholars have conducted research on fake news detection, and most of this research focuses on domain-specific single-domain fake news detection or mixed-domain detection without considering domain information. Most existing multi-domain fake news detection approaches model the domains of fake news implicitly and do not pay attention to the domain seesaw phenomenon. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a Star Topology Multi-Domain Fake News Detection Model (StarMFND), which explicitly models the domains of fake news using a star topology, and simultaneously leverages the data from all the domains to obtain the common and specific features associated with fake news across different domains. Experiments on Chinese and English datasets demonstrated the good performance of StarMFND for multi-domain fake news detection.

The goal of fusing hyperspectral images (HSI) and multispectral images (MSI) is to generate high-resolution hyperspectral images for downstream tasks. However, most existing methods overlook the specific requirements of these tasks, leading to a gap between the fusion process and its subsequent applications due to insufficient guidance from downstream tasks. To address this issue, we propose a classification-guided multitask interactive network (CGNet) that integrates both fusion and classification tasks into a unified framework, with two branches producing the fused image and classification results, respectively. In the fusion branch, we design a multi-level residual refinement module to efficiently integrate spatial and spectral information. Additionally, an attention-based multi-scale fusion module, incorporating both spatial and channel attention, is carefully crafted to enhance representation learning. In the classification branch, both 2-D and 3-D convolutions are employed to improve classification performance. Moreover, an information interaction module is proposed to guide the fusion task based on classification outcomes. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches on the Pavia Centre and Pavia University datasets.

Short video platforms have become an essential part of people’s daily lives, while also facing the challenge of the rapid spread of fake news. Therefore, the detection of fake news in short videos has attracted increasing attention. Existing works mostly focus on the integration of textual and visual content, but fail to fully exploit multi-modal information at both fine-grained and coarse-grained levels. Moreover, multi-modal fake news detection is vulnerable to modality ambiguity due to potential conflicts or weak correlations between different modalities. In this paper, we propose a Multi-grained and Multi-modal fusion for Short video Fake news Detection (MMSFD). We encode textual and visual content using pre-trained models at both fine-grained and coarse-grained levels and fuse them through distinct branches. To tackle the ambiguity issue, we design a multi-modal fusion branch based on similarity weighting, as well as separate single-modal branches. Additionally, this paper presents a cross-modal attention mechanism for adaptively aggregating and reweighting features. The experimental results on a real-world short video dataset demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art short video fake news detection methods.

The Initial Screening of Laryngeal Tumors via Voice Acoustic Analysis Based on Siamese network Under Small Samples

Objective: The initial screening of laryngeal tumors via voice acoustic analysis is based on the clinician's experience that is subjective. This article introduces a Siamese network with an auxiliary gender classifier for automated, accurate, and objective initial screening of laryngeal tumors based on voice signals. Methods: The study involved 71 tumor patients and 293 non-tumor subjects of Chinese Mandarin. This dataset was divided into a training set and a test set in a ratio of 4:1. We applied nine data augmentation techniques to enlarge the voice training set and extracted the corresponding mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) maps. The MFCC maps were randomly paired and fed into the proposed Siamese network to achieve multitask classification for tumor and non-tumor, woman and man. The performance of the proposed model was compared with one machine learning method and six classical deep learning models with and without the auxiliary gender classifier. Results: Experiments demonstrate the superiority of the proposed network compared with the reference models. The proposed model achieved an overall accuracy of 0.9437, an F score of 0.8462, a precision of 0.9167, a sensitivity of 0.7857, and a specificity of 0.9825. Conclusion: The proposed network can assist in the initial screening of laryngeal tumors through voice acoustic analysis. The initial screening solely through voice acoustic analysis can help individuals seek medical assistance outside the hospitals and reduce the burden on doctors as well. © 2025

Field-road mode mining (FRMM) has gained increasing attention because of its crucial role in machinery management. As the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is widely applied in agricultural machinery, many methods based on motion and spatial-temporal features of GNSS trajectory data have been proposed for FRMM. However, these methods ignore the density and parallel features of GNSS points. The two features are useful for FRMM because field points usually have a higher density and more parallel points than road points. Therefore, a neural network driven by density and parallel features is proposed for accurate FRMM. Firstly, a statistical method is designed to extract the density feature (i.e., the number of its neighbor points) and parallel feature (i.e., the number of approximately parallel points in its neighbors) of each point. Then, the two features and eight motion features (e.g., speed, direction, etc.) are fed into a neural network to extract valuable latent features. Finally, a linear classifier is used to identify the field and road categories of GNSS points based on the latent features. Experimental results show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods and achieves the accuracy of 91.69% and 86.44% on public Wheat and Paddy datasets, respectively.

With the increase of data scale and computing power, deep learning algorithm has made a prominent breakthrough in computer vision and other complex problems. However, its high complexity and large memory requirements make it very difficult to run in real time on the Internet of things terminal mobile devices. There is still delay the employing of cloud services cannot meet the real-time requirement. With the popularity of mobile terminal devices and the development of Internet of things, it is of great significance to design a real-time deep learning algorithm on IOT edge mobile devices with limited computing and memory resources. This paper proposes a new object detection method based on the current state-of-the-art object detection deep network model RetinaNet and traditional feature extraction method SIFT. RetinaNet is a one-stage detector with excellent detection speed and accuracy. We use RetinaNet as the object location method, then extract the CNN features and SIFT features of the fixed position image and combine them to train a new classifier.
