Bayesian Network Reconstruction and Iterative Divergence Problem Solving Method Based on Norm Minimization

A Bayesian network reconstruction method based on norm minimization is proposed to address the sparsity and iterative divergence issues in network reconstruction caused by noise and missing *** method achieves precise adjustment of the network structure by constructing a preliminary random network model and introducing small-world network characteristics and combines L1 norm minimization regularization techniques to control model complexity and optimize the inference process of variable *** the experiment of game network reconstruction,when the success rate of the L1 norm minimization model’s existence connection reconstruction reaches 100%,the minimum data required is about 40%,while the minimum data required for a sparse Bayesian learning network is about 45%.In terms of operational efficiency,the running time for minimizing the L1 normis basically maintained at 1.0 s,while the success rate of connection reconstruction increases significantly with an increase in data volume,reaching a maximum of 13.2 ***,in the case of a signal-to-noise ratio of 10 dB,the L1 model achieves a 100% success rate in the reconstruction of existing connections,while the sparse Bayesian network had the highest success rate of 90% in the reconstruction of non-existent *** the analysis of actual cases,the maximum lift and drop track of the research method is 0.08 *** mean square error is 5.74 cm^(2).The results indicate that this norm minimization-based method has good performance in data efficiency and model stability,effectively reducing the impact of outliers on the reconstruction results to more accurately reflect the actual situation.

Transformer-based multi-level attention integration network for video saliency prediction

Most existing models for video saliency prediction heavily rely on 3D convolutional operations to extract spatio-temporal features. However, it is worth noting that 3D convolution produces a local receptive field, which may struggle to capture long-range spatio-temporal dependencies effectively. To compensate for such shortage, this paper introduces a novel approach called the Transformer-based Multi-level Attention Integration Network (TMAI-Net) for video saliency prediction. TMAI-Net is designed as a two-stream encoder-decoder model, carefully integrating multi-level features of semantic information. Our model incorporates a Multi-level Interactive Attention(MLIA) module and a Transformer, both implemented based on self-attention mechanism, which are placed at different levels of the model to capture long-range spatio-temporal feature dependencies. Additionally, our model operates on input video frames and attentional patches, allowing the Transformer module to capture structural similarities between related objects in global features and attention features. This, in turn, enables the model to allocate increased attention to salient areas. Regarding computer security, the growth of code vulnerability types presents a persistent challenge. These vulnerabilities, which may cause severe consequences, necessitate precise classification for effective mitigation. However, the rapid emergence of new vulnerability types complicates the classification process. Traditional methodologies, which often involve human expertise and the manual labeling or generation of example instances, are not only resource-intensive but also struggle to adapt to the dynamic nature of these vulnerabilities. This paper introduces VulnSense, an innovative method that harnesses the capabilities of Generalized Zero-Shot Learning (GZSL) to address the vulnerability classification problem. VulnSense learns about unseen vulnerability classes from the descriptions of these unseen classes, while not requiring to see any instances of these unseen classes. Specifically, VulnSense learns from three main resources: (1) seen classes with labeled code instances;(2) descriptions of these seen classes;and (3) descriptions of "unseen"classes which have no labeled instances. Our experiments underscore VulnSense's superiority over existing GZSL methods in classifying instances of unseen classes. Concurrently, it maintains a performance parity with traditional labeled-example based learning methods in classifying instances of seen vulnerabilities. VulnSense demonstrates the potential of using GZSL for vulnerability classification, while also highlighting challenges that inspire future work. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

Conventional imaging devices often struggle to produce high-dynamic-range (HDR) images that accurately represent natural scenes. To overcome this limitation, multi-exposure image fusion (MEF) techniques have been introduced as a viable solution. Existing MEF approaches aim to enhance performance by optimizing or searching architectures. However, they face challenges in precise feature extraction and scene reconstruction, leading to distortion in the fused images. Additionally, most methods do not adequately address luminance variations across different image regions, which may result in the loss of essential details. To address these challenges, we present a novel luminance-aware MEF framework that integrates text-correlation priors (LarTap). By embedding textual information into fusion process, the proposed framework enhances content extraction and comprehension. Specifically, it consist of two key components: the text-image correlation network (N1) and the multi-exposure fusion network (N2). First, N1 performs correlation training to achieve a holistic alignment between text and image pairs. Its iterative vision encoders (VEs) generate text-correlated prior knowledge to facilitate the fusion process in N2. Second, N2 leverages these priors for scene reconstruction and dynamically adjusts luminance based on comparative perception. Extensive experiments on multiple datasets demonstrate that LarTap outperforms state-of-the-art methods. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

Structural Optimization of Causal Driven Model Based on Bayesian Network in High-dimensional Data Classification

The Bayesian network (BN) model, as a big data graph model that integrates causal inference and probabilistic representation, has received widespread attention and research in both academia and industry. However, with the advent of the big data era, traditional BN structure learning algorithms have encountered unprecedented challenges in processing high-dimensional data, mainly manifested as a sharp increase in computational complexity and difficulty in achieving ideal accuracy requirements within an acceptable time range, which greatly limits their breadth and depth in practical applications. In response to this bottleneck problem, this article innovatively proposes a new approach that combines width learning theory with BN, referred to as Broad Bayesian Neural Network (Broad-BNN). This model effectively reduces the dimensionality of the original high-dimensional data by introducing a feature mapping layer and gradually expanding it, while achieving non-linear transformation of information and effective feature extraction. The experimental results show that the model proposed in this paper has achieved significant performance improvement in high-dimensional data classification problems, not only accelerating training speed but also significantly improving classification accuracy, providing a new perspective and solution for solving the difficulties of high-dimensional data processing. © 2025 Kuo Li et al., published by Sciendo.

SMT(LIA) Sampling with High Diversity

Satisfiability Modulo Linear Integer Arithmetic, SMT(LIA) for short, is pivotal across various critical domains. Previous research has primarily focused on SMT solving techniques. However, in practical applications such as software and hardware testing, there is a need to generate a diverse set of solutions for use as test inputs. We have developed the first sampling framework that integrates local search with CDCL(T) techniques, named HighDiv, capable of generating a highly diverse set of solutions for constraints under linear integer theory. Initially, in the local search phase, we introduced a novel operator called boundary-aware movement. This operator performs random moves by considering the current state’s constraints on variables, thereby enhancing the diversity of variables during the search process. Furthermore, we have conducted an in-depth study of the preprocessing and variable initialization mechanisms within the framework, which significantly enhances the efficiency of subsequent local searches. Lastly, we use the solutions obtained from local search sampling as additional constraints to further explore the solution space using the stochastic CDCL(T) method. Experimental results demonstrate that HighDiv generates solutions with greater diversity compared to the state-of-the-art SMT(LIA) sampling tool, MeGASampler. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. Rethinking Polyp Segmentation from the Perspectives of Matching Views and Seeking Camouflage

Accurate segmentation of polyps from colonoscopy images is of great significance for the prevention of colorectal cancer. Despite notable progress, polyp segmentation remains a challenging task due to the diversity of polyp size and shape, as well as the camouflage property of polyps caused by their high similarity to surrounding tissues. To address these challenges, inspired by human perceptual experience in finding objects, we propose a multi-perspective collaborative network (MPCNet), innovatively identifying the potential polyps from the perspectives of matching views and seeking camouflage. Firstly, from the former perspective, a global–local aware module is proposed to provide various feature receptive fields to match suitable views for polyps of different sizes and shapes. Then, from the latter perspective, a texture enhancement module (TEM) and an interaction refinement module (IRM) are proposed to mine and complement clues essential for breaking the camouflage. Specifically, TEM mines texture-related clues and amplifies the subtle texture differences between polyps and their background, while IRM complements boundary clues and further optimizes feature representation through the interaction between boundaries and regions, thereby generating accurate segmentation results with complete regions and fine boundaries. Extensive experiments on five benchmark polyp datasets show that our MPCNet outperforms other state-of-the-art methods. In particular, we achieve a mean Dice of 81.7% and 82.4% on the most challenging datasets CVC-ColonDB and ETIS, respectively, which are significantly higher than competing methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Sfmfold: A Multi-Modal Contrast Learning Model for Rna Secondary Structure Prediction

The secondary structure of RNA can regulate the interaction between RNA and protein and perform various biological tasks through specific folding shapes, which plays an important role in revealing biomolecular mechanisms and developing new vaccines and therapeutic drugs. However, existing RNA secondary structure prediction methods based on thermodynamics and traditional neural network models usually lack the ability to model long-distance dependencies of RNA molecules and cannot handle complex non-nested structures in RNA molecules. In this paper, we propose a multi-modal contrastive learning method SFMFold based on state space model, which captures long-distance interactions in RNA sequences through RNA sequence representation learning part, and models the structure of RNA molecules through RNA structure representation learning part. Finally, the features of the two modalities are aligned and deeply fused to obtain the final RNA molecule prediction map. We test SFMFold on several datasets, and the experiments show that our proposed model shows excellent performance in cross-family prediction and long sequence prediction tasks. In addition, SFMFold can also effectively predict non-nested structures such as pseudoknot with better accuracy than the SOTA methods. © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

DeepSeek, a Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) startup, has released their V3 and R1 series models, which attracted global attention due to their low cost, high performance, and open-source advantages. This paper begins by reviewing the evolution of large AI models focusing on paradigm shifts, the mainstream large language model (LLM) paradigm, and the DeepSeek paradigm. Subsequently, the paper highlights novel algorithms introduced by DeepSeek, including multi-head latent attention (MLA), mixture-of-experts (MoE), multi-token prediction (MTP), and group relative policy optimization (GRPO). The paper then explores DeepSeek's engineering breakthroughs in LLM scaling, training, inference, and system-level optimization architecture. Moreover, the impact of DeepSeek models on the competitive AI landscape is analyzed, comparing them to mainstream LLMs across various fields. Finally, the paper reflects on the insights gained from DeepSeek's innovations and discusses future trends in the technical and engineering development of large AI models, particularly in data, training, and reasoning. © 2014 Chinese Association of Automation.

Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites can be used to assist maritime wireless communications for data transmission across wide-ranging areas. However, extensive coverage of LEO satellites, combined with openness of channels, can cause the communication process to suffer from security risks. This paper presents a low-altitude friendly-jamming LEO satellite-maritime communication system enabled by a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to ensure data security at the physical layer. Since such a system requires trade-off policies that balance the secrecy rate and energy consumption of the UAV to meet evolving scenario demands, we formulate a secure satellite-maritime communication multi-objective optimization problem (SSMCMOP). In order to solve the dynamic and long-term optimization problem, we reformulate it into a Markov decision process. We then propose a transformer-enhanced soft actor critic (TransSAC) algorithm, which is a generative artificial intelligence-enable deep reinforcement learning approach to solve the reformulated problem, so that capturing global dependencies and diversely exploring weights. Simulation results demonstrate that the TransSAC outperforms various baselines, and achieves an optimal secrecy rate while effectively minimizing the energy consumption of the UAV.
