Aiming at the ore blending problem in the open-pit mining scenario, the optimization objective is to minimize the grade variance of the sliding window of the ore flow, and a cooperative shovel scheduling model for real-time ore blending is established. A reinforcement learning-enhanced dynamic multi- objective evolutionary algorithm is proposed, where a Q-learning operator selection mechanism is introduced to reuse the information from the previous environment for tracking the optimal solution in the dynamic environment. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively control the grade fluctuation of the ore flow and dynamically respond to external events, and can find a better solution in real time compared with the traditional operator selection algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

As each cluster head(CH)sensor node is used to aggregate,fuse,and forward data from different sensor nodes in an underwater acoustic sensor network(UASN),guaranteeing the data security in a CH is very *** this paper,a cooperative security monitoring mechanism aided by multiple slave cluster heads(SCHs)is proposed to keep track of the data security of a *** designing a low complexity“equilateral triangle algorithm(ETA)”,the optimal SCHs(named as ETA-based multiple SCHs)are selected from the candidate SCHs so as to improve the dispersion and coverage of SCHs and achieve largescale data security *** addition,by analyzing the entire monitoring process,the close form expression of the probability of the failure attack identification for the SCHs with respect to the probability of attack launched by ordinary nodes is *** simulation results show that the proposed optimal ETA-based multiple SCH cooperation scheme has lower probability of the failure attack identification than that of the existing *** addition,the numerical simulation results are consistent with the theoretical analysis results,thus verifying the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Resilient Cooperative Control of Multiple DC Microgrids With Interconnection Networks Against Cyber Attacks

The two control objectives of voltage regulation and precise current sharing are conflicting in multi-bus DC microgrids. In this paper, a distributed control strategy is proposed, and it can achieve accurate current sharing and regulate the voltage of a critical node to the rated value. However, such a distributed control system is susceptible to potential cyber attacks that could deteriorate microgrids performances by corrupting communication links or actuators. To overcome these difficulties, we design the interconnected communication networks to establish a resilient cooperative system of multiple microgrids against unknown bounded injection attacks. The proposed resilient control strategy can achieve the control objectives of maintaining voltage regulation and current sharing within each microgrids under different operating conditions, and the interconnected system consisting of multiple microgrids cooperates to mitigate the adverse effect of cyber attacks. The dynamics and stability of the overall close-loop system of the DC microgrids are analyzed, in the present or absent of cyber attacks. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in two 4-bus DC microgrids. © 2023 IEEE.

Denial of service (DoS) attacks is among the most harmful network threats. Low-rate DoS (LDoS) attacks feature good concealment and are likely to evade detection by conventional signal analysis-based methods. A LDoS attack detection method that combines the convolutional neural network and the gated recurrent unit is proposed in the present work. To evaluate the proposed method, we collect real user traffic from a university's website, label the traffic with LDoS attacks as normal traffic. In order to get the real attack traffic, this paper has collected some new LDoS attack programs, such as slowloris, slowhttptest, pwnlloris, torhammer and httplog, which can be obtained from public channels, and constructed a LAN environment that conformed to the working scenario of the program. By running the attack program, the attack traffic could be obtained. In a large sample scenario, the average detection rate of our proposed method can reach 98.68%. This article focuses on the research: the average detection rate of the detection method proposed in this article in the case that the security agency can only intercept a small number of attack samples. That is, in the small sample scenario, the detection of the collected traffic shows that the average detection rate of the proposed detection method can reach 89.54% in a small sample scenario. Its effective detection rate is obviously superior to the existing similar detection methods. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, quadratic optimizations have become increasingly popular in engineering. However, conventional methods that investigate this problem from the perspective of a canonical form with linear constraints are not effective in dealing with the significant challenges posed by quadratic constraints in practice. This paper proposes a solution framework for the quadratic optimization with quadratic constraints (QOQC) based on innovative artificial societies, computational experiments, and parallel execution (ACP) framework. Then, a gradient projection differential neural solution (GPDNS) is proposed to address this. To illustrate the effectiveness of the GPDNS model in solving the QOQC system, numerical simulations are provided. Overall, this paper presents the potential of innovative approaches like the ACP framework to enhance our capabilities in addressing challenging optimization systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Considering the actual multi-agent coverage process, the motion trajectories are seriously affected by disturbances and noise. In this paper, a cooperative control method based on active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) for multiple mecanum-wheeled robots (MWMR) is proposed to improve its robustness. In particular, to suppress the total disturbances during the running of each robot and reduce large computation and observation cost of high order ADRC, a reduced-order cascaded ADRC (RC-ADRC) is proposed. Moreover, distributed controller is proposed to track the expected trajectories of multiple mecanum-wheeled robots under disturbances. Compared with the proposed RC-ADRC based cooperative control scheme and PID based cooperative control one, the favorable motion trajectory tracking performance is obtained. Simulation results verify the superiority of the method. © 2023 IEEE.

Collaborative Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (C-SLAM), commonly known as multi-robot SLAM, is a prefatory technology that allows multiple robots to efficiently traverse large and intricate areas. This is possible due to the merging of maps and the recognition of shared spaces. Despite its many benefits, multi-robot systems encounter various challenges, such as communication barriers, co-localization issues, and joint optimization problems. This paper reviews the sensors and back-end optimization methods used for SLAM. Then, it summarizes existing collaborative SLAM frameworks and some novel solutions. Finally, it discusses trends and promising research directions for collaborative SLAM. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the truck scheduling problem in the open-pit mine scenario, a truck scheduling model based on real-time ore blending is established, and an adaptive evolution algorithm for truck scheduling based on DCNSGA-III is proposed. In the established scheduling model, the real-time grade variance of the crushing plant is minimized as one of the optimization objectives, and the Q-learning algorithm is introduced to adaptively select one of the most effective operators during the search process. Experiments show that the proposed method can effectively control the grade fluctuation of the ore flow and better scheduling schemes are obtained in comparison with algorithms equipped with the traditional search operator selection methods. © 2023 IEEE.

In many fields, time series prediction is gaining more and more attention, e.g., air pollution, geological hazards, and network traffic prediction. Water quality prediction is based on historical data to predict future water quality. However, it is difficult to learn a representation map from a time series that captures the trends and fluctuations to effectively remove noise from time series data and capture complex nonlinear relationships. To solve these problems, this work proposes a time series prediction model, called PSGT for short, which integrates Patch Savitsky-Golay filtering and Transformer. First, this work adopts a Patching method to embed sub-time series data and obtains the trends and semantic information of the time series. Second, it uses the Savitsky-Golay filtering to effectively remove the noise data in the patch and improve the prediction accuracy. Third, it uses a Transformer mechanism to address the nonlinear problem of water quality time series and improve long-term prediction capability. Two real-world datasets are utilized to evaluate the proposed PSGT, and experiments prove that PSGT performs better than other benchmark models by at least 6%. © 2024 IEEE.
