Sawtooth Waves (STW) that occur during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep are closely associated with memory consolidation and the regulation of brain functions. However, due to challenges in data acquisition and the high cost of manual annotation, there is currently an absence of a publicly massive STW annotated dataset. This study focuses on constructing a high-quality STW dataset, comprising 4912 samples from 200 participants, and developing classification algorithms for STW detection. We utilized three prevalent algorithms-Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-to assess the dataset's quality. The dataset achieved a maximum classification accuracy of 95.62% with the CNN, confirming the gold standard of STW dataset. Finally, we studied age and gender difference in physiological characteristics of STW, including average frequency of STW, peak-to-peak amplitude(PTP), root mean square(RMS) and spectrum power. This study created a public STW dataset and a STW detection model, laying the groundwork for analyzing the mechanisms of STW events.

Hyperspectral Image (HSI) cross-scene classification is a challenging task in remote sensing, particularly when real-time processing of Target Domain (TD) HSI is required, and data cannot be reused for training. While deep learning methods have shown promising results, the generalization ability of HSI representations remains limited, mainly due to class label imbalance. This paper introduces a dual-stage learning framework based on transfer learning to enhance classification accuracy in the TD. The framework includes a self-supervised learning stage and a supervised fine-tuning stage. The self-supervised stage focuses on learning robust representations by leveraging inherent structures within HSI data, while the fine-tuning stage uses training labels to extract semantic information. A masked diffusion model predicts masked tokens from unmasked ones, capturing both high-level structures and fine details in HSI data. An efficient spatiospectral Transformer, which removes self-attention from the decoder, is proposed to enhance the self-supervised process. This design allows mask tokens to obtain information from visible tokens without interacting with each other, reducing sequence length and computational costs. By decoding each mask token conditionally independently, only a subset of masked tokens is processed. Extensive experiments on two public HSI datasets demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art techniques. © 2025 IEEE.

The proliferation of web services with similar functionalities challenges selecting the most relevant service based on Quality of Service (QoS). Skyline queries help by reducing the candidate pool, but the resulting service skyline can still be extensive, making selection difficult. A personalized Skyline service selection method provides a smaller, more manageable set. Current approaches often overlook inter-dependencies between user preferences, complicating complex preference management. This paper introduces CP-Skyline, an efficient method leveraging Conditional Preference Networks (CP-Nets) to incorporate user-specific preferences and personalize the service selection process. We present a personalized conditional preference model based on CP-Nets to prune candidate services and compress the query space, defining a new dominance relation for CP-Skyline computation, and validate our approach through extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets.

Due to the abundance of cultural resources on the Internet, traditional information retrieval has not met people's requirements. Therefore, intelligent recommendation of cultural resources has become an valuable research. However, previous studies on recommender system fail to exploit the higher-order structural information in knowledge graphs fully. Therefore, this paper proposes an Improved Knowledge Graph Convolutional Network (KGCN-I) model, which expresses the semantic information in the knowledge graph by weighting the user's score on the relationship. We use a brand-new aggregation function to replace the original KGCN layer's aggregation function and expand each entity's receptive field in the knowledge graph by stacking multiple KGCN layers to capture the high-order personalized interests of users. We compare with the state-of-the-art baseline algorithms on two real datasets. Experiments show that our proposed model is superior to the baseline algorithms on the precision, recall and F1. © 2022 IEEE.

Object detection is a fundamental task in computer vision that involves accurately locating and classifying objects within images or video frames. In remote sensing, this task is particularly challenging due to the high resolution, multi-scale features, and diverse ground object characteristics inherent in satellite and UAV imagery. These challenges necessitate more advanced approaches for effective object detection in such environments. While deep learning methods have achieved remarkable success in remote sensing object detection, they typically rely on large amounts of labeled data. Acquiring sufficient labeled data, particularly for novel or rare objects, is both challenging and time-consuming in remote sensing scenarios, limiting the generalization capabilities of existing models. To address these challenges, few-shot learning (FSL) has emerged as a promising approach, aiming to enable models to learn new classes from limited labeled examples. Building on this concept, few-shot object detection (FSOD) specifically targets object detection challenges in data-limited conditions. However, the generalization capability of FSOD models, particularly in remote sensing, is often constrained by the complex and diverse characteristics of the objects present in such environments. In this paper, we propose the Generalization-Enhanced Few-Shot Object Detection (GE-FSOD) model to improve the generalization capability in remote sensing FSOD tasks. Our model introduces three key innovations: the Cross-Level Fusion Pyramid Attention Network (CFPAN) for enhanced multi-scale feature representation, the Multi-Stage Refinement Region Proposal Network (MRRPN) for more accurate region proposals, and the Generalized Classification Loss (GCL) for improved classification performance in few-shot scenarios. GE-FSOD demonstrates superior robustness and accuracy in remote sensing FSOD tasks through these enhancements. Extensive experiments on the DIOR and NWPU VHR-10 datasets show that our

Real-time filtering and derivative signals with as small phase lag as possible are of great significance for control performances. In this work, an enhanced time optimal control (referred as f sa) based tracking differentiator (TD) is proposed, which can guarantee a small phase lag in both filtering and differential signals for a class of input signals with different levels of noises. This characteristic is achieved by introducing a damping coefficient to the boundary transformation function of the time-optimal control algorithm. In the increasingly complex network environment, various attacks emerge one after another. Being able to accurately detect elephant flow and mouse flow plays an extremely important role in defending against large-scale network attacks. Aiming at some shortcomings of current methods for detecting elephant flow and mouse flow, this paper proposes a detection method based on information entropy and improved random forest. After preprocessing the data, first calculate the data feature score with information entropy, screen out the truly valuable features according to the score, then put them into the improved random forest classifier, and finally get the detection results. In this paper, the grid search algorithm is used to optimize the tree and depth of random forest tree, so that the detection results can be obtained quickly and accurately. Experiments show that due to the significant difference between the data characteristics of elephant flow and mouse flow, this method can effectively identify elephant flow and mouse flow. The accuracy rate is 97.93%, the precision rate is 99.99%, the recall rate is 97.91%, and the F1-score is 98.94%, which is improved compared with other algorithms. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. Data deduplication is a crucial technique in the field of data compression that aims to eliminate redundant copies of recurring data. This technique has gained significant popularity in the realm of cloud storage due to its ability to effectively reduce storage requirements and optimize bandwidth utilization. To ensure the safeguarding of sensitive data while simultaneously facilitating deduplication, researchers have put forth the concept of convergent encryption as a potential solution. This technique involves encrypting the data prior to its outsourcing, thereby enhancing the confidentiality of the information. In this work, an earnest endeavor is undertaken to formally tackle the issue of authorized data deduplication, with the aim of enhancing data security. Our approach combines the Diffie-Hellman algorithm and symmetrical external decision to protect and popularize information, ensuring end-to-end encryption to encourage user adoption of cloud storage. The proposed model employs block-level deduplication and guarantees the randomness of ciphertexts by generating encryption keys using the Diffie-Hellman algorithm. This method effectively counters both internal and external brute-force attacks, enhancing data security while reducing computational costs. An extensive experimentation is carried out to demonstrate that our approach is particularly beneficial in scenarios with multiple privilege sets. Overall, the proposed model offers an elaborate framework that maintains data privacy and strengthens security measures, contributing to a more efficient and secure cloud-based document search. © 2023 The Author(s)

Noisy partial label learning (noisy PLL) is an important branch of weakly supervised learning. Unlike PLL where the ground-truth label must conceal in the candidate label set, noisy PLL relaxes this constraint and allows the ground-truth label may not be in the candidate label set. To address this challenging problem, most of the existing works attempt to detect noisy samples and estimate the ground-truth label for each noisy sample. However, detection errors are unavoidable. These errors can accumulate during training and continuously affect model optimization. To this end, we propose a novel framework for noisy PLL with theoretical interpretations, called "Adjusting Label Importance Mechanism (ALIM)". It aims to reduce the negative impact of detection errors by trading off the initial candidate set and model outputs. ALIM is a plug-in strategy that can be integrated with existing PLL approaches. Experimental results on multiple benchmark datasets demonstrate that our method can achieve state-of-the-art performance on noisy PLL.
