Multi-object quantum traveling ballot scheme

Based on quantum mechanics, a traveling ballot scheme with anonymity and secrecy is introduced to realize voting. By searching the objects in large amount of data bases, every voter may cast votes to his desired candidates. Therefore, the proposed scheme may be applied to voting with a great deal of candidates, such as network voting and so on. The security analysis of the present scheme is also performed.

Novel Quantum Secret Sharing and Controlled communication Schemes Based on Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Correlations

Employing quantum registers, we first proposed a novel （2, 3） quantum threshold scheme based on Einstein- Podolsky Rosen （EPR） correlations in this letter. Motivated by the present threshold scheme, we also propose a controlled communication scheme to transmit the secret message with a controller. In the communication protocol, the encoded quantum message carried by particles sequence, is transmitted by legitimate communicators.

In this paper, we propose the approach of employing circulant permutation matrices to construct quantum quasicyclic （QC） low-density parity-check （LDPC） codes. Using the proposed approach one may construct some new quantum codes with various lengths and rates of no cycles-length 4 in their Tanner graphs. In addition, these constructed codes have the advantages of simple implementation and low-complexity encoding. Finally, the decoding approach for the proposed quantum QC LDPC is investigated.

In this paper, we consider the physical layer security (PLS) problem for integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems in the presence of hybrid-colluding eavesdroppers, where an active eavesdropper (AE) and a passive eavesdropper (PE) collude to intercept the confidential information. To ensure the accuracy of sensing while preventing the eavesdropping, a base station transmits a signal consisting of information symbols and sensing waveform, in which the sensing waveform can be also used as artificial noise to interfere with eavesdroppers. Under this setup, we propose an alternating optimization-based two stage scheme (AO-TSS) for improving the sensing and communication performance. In the first stage, based on the assumptions that the perfect channel state information (CSI) of the AE and statistical CSI of the PE are known, the communication and sensing beamforming problem is formulated with the objective of minimizing the weighted sum of the beampattern matching mean squared error (MSE) and cross-correlation, subject to the secure transmission constraint. To tackle the non-convexity, we propose a semi-definite relaxation (SDR) algorithm and a reduced-complexity zero-forcing (ZF) algorithm. Then, the scenarios are further extended to more general cases with imperfect AE CSI and unknown PE CSI. To further improve the communication performance, the second-stage problem is developed to optimize the secrecy rate threshold under the radar performance constraint. Finally, numerical results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme in terms of sensing and secure communication. © 1972-2012 IEEE.

Quantum key distribution (QKD) has been proposed for decades. Many applications have been deployed recently for both wired and wireless networks. Especially for optical networks, QKD technique has a great development. But in free-space quantum key distribution still has a lot of problems such as a low bit rate. In this paper we propose a new scheme, combining MIMO (Multiple input multiple output) system and wireless networks for QKD in free-space networks. With the proposed approach, a higher bit rate QKD networks in free-space could be realized theoretically. ©2009 IEEE.

New quaternary sequences of even length with optimal auto-correlation

Sequences with low auto-correlation property have been applied in code-division multiple access communication systems, radar and cryptography. Using the inverse Gray mapping, a quaternary sequence of even length N can be obtained from two binary sequences of the same length, which are called component sequences. In this paper, using interleaving method, we present several classes of component sequences from twin-prime sequences pairs or GMW sequences pairs given by Tang and Ding in 2010; or two, three or four binary sequences defined by cyclotomic classes of order 4. Hence we can obtain new classes of quaternary sequences, which are different from known ones, since known component sequences are constructed from a pair of binary sequences with optimal auto-correlation or Sidel'nikov sequences.

Jacket matrices motivated by the center weight Hadamard matrices have play some important roles in signal processing and communication. In this paper we proposed a notation called block jacket matrices which substitute elements of matrices into matrices or even block matrices. Employing the well-known Pauli matrices which are very important in many subjects, several kind of block jacket matrices are constructed. Especially, construction and properties of the block jacket matrices with size 2 n and 3 n are investigated. Then a general approach for any size block jacket matrices is proposed. With novel properties of the block jacket matrices, a fast block inverse jacket transform is suggested.
