A Two-Layer Encoding Learning Swarm Optimizer Based on Frequent Itemsets for Sparse Large-Scale Multi-Objective Optimization

Decentralized Game-based Auction Algorithm for Scheduling Robotic Chargers to Service EVs with Uncertain Demands

In this study, we introduce a novel auction-based algorithm modeled as a decentralized coalition formation game, designed for the complex requirements of large-scale multi-robot task allocation under uncertain demand. This context is particularly illustrative in scenarios where robots are tasked to charge electric vehicles. The algorithm begins by partitioning a composite task sequence into distinct subsets based on spatial similarity principles. Subsequently, we employ a coalition formation game paradigm to coordinate the assembly of robots into cooperative coalitions focused on these distinct subsets. To mitigate the impact of unpredictable task demands on allocations, our approach utilizes the conditional value-at-risk to assess the risk associated with task execution, along with computing the potential revenue of the coalition with an emphasis on risk-related outcomes. Additionally, integrating consensus auctions into the coalition formation framework allows our approach to accommodate assignments for individual robot-task pairings, thus preserving the stability of individual robotic decision autonomy within the coalition structure and assignment distribution. Simulative analyses on a prototypical parking facility layout confirm that our algorithm achieves Nash equilibrium within the coalition structure in polynomial time and demonstrates significant scalability. Compared to competing algorithms, our proposal exhibits superior performance in resilience, task execution efficiency, and reduced overall task completion times. The results demonstrate that our approach is an effective strategy for solving the scheduling challenges encountered by multi-robot systems operating in complex environments. IEEE

In the era of artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC), conditional multimodal synthesis technologies (e.g., text-to-image) are dynamically reshaping the natural content. Brain signals, serving as potential reflections of how the brain interprets external information, exhibit a distinctive one-to-many correspondence with various external modalities. This correspondence makes brain signals emerge as a promising guiding condition for multimodal synthesis (e.g., image, text, and audio), which is crucial for developing practical brain–computer interface systems and unraveling complex mechanisms underlying human perception. This survey comprehensively examines the emerging field of brain-conditional multimodal synthesis, termed AIGC-brain, to delineate the current landscape and future directions. To begin, related neuroimaging datasets and generative models are introduced as the foundation of AIGC-brain decoding and analysis. Next, we present a comprehensive taxonomy according to AIGC-brain methodologies, followed by task-specific representative work and implementation details to facilitate in-depth comparison and analysis. Quality assessments are then introduced for both qualitative and quantitative evaluation. Finally, this survey explores insights gained, outlining current challenges and prospects of AIGC-brain. As a pioneering survey, this article paves the way for future advances in AIGC-brain research. © 2020 IEEE.

Low-Cost Data Offloading Strategy With Deep Reinforcement Learning for Internet of Things

With the widespread adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) and various smart medical devices, the volume of medical data has dramatically increased, making the processing of medical Internet of Things (IoMT) data increasingly challenging. Due to the integration of edge computing and cloud computing, IoMT can allocate increased computing and storage resources in proximity to the terminal, addressing the low-latency requirements of computationally intensive tasks. While existing initiatives have shifted services to edge servers, they have not taken into account the joint impact of task priorities and mobile computing services on Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) networks. Fortunately, the rapidly advancing field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has proven effective in some resource allocation applications in recent years. In this article, we propose a mobile edge computing-based intelligent healthcare multitasking processing system aimed at addressing the issue of service prioritization in medical scenarios. Considering energy consumption and latency, we present a multi-objective task-aware service offloading algorithm under the framework of end-edge-cloud collaborative IoMT systems, employing deep deterministic policy gradients (DDPG). Adaptability to the diversity of different services is achieved through dynamic adjustments based on various business types and system requirements. Finally, the effectiveness of DDPG for IoMT is validated using real-world data. © 2008-2012 IEEE.

Three-dimensional reconstruction of industrial parts from a single image

This study proposes an image-based three-dimensional(3D)vector reconstruction of industrial parts that can gener-ate non-uniform rational B-splines(NURBS)surfaces with high fidelity and *** contributions of this study include three parts:first,a dataset of two-dimensional images is constructed for typical industrial parts,including hex-agonal head bolts,cylindrical gears,shoulder rings,hexagonal nuts,and cylindrical roller bearings;second,a deep learning algorithm is developed for parameter extraction of 3D industrial parts,which can determine the final 3D parameters and pose information of the reconstructed model using two new nets,CAD-ClassNet and CAD-ReconNet;and finally,a 3D vector shape reconstruction of mechanical parts is presented to generate NURBS from the obtained shape *** final reconstructed models show that the proposed approach is highly accurate,efficient,and practical.

Variational autoencoder (VAE) is a generative deep learning (DL) model with a probabilistic structure, which makes it tolerant to process uncertainties and more suitable for process monitoring. However, the probabilistic model may disrupt the topological structure of data and lead to the loss of neighborhood information. To address this issue, a process monitoring approach based on t-distributed stochastic neighbor variational autoencoder (t-SNVAE) is proposed to capture probabilistic features that elucidate both local and global structures within the raw data. Specifically, the distances between neighboring data points are transformed into joint probabilities by using t-SN embedding. Through minimizing the Kullback–Leibler divergence of joint probabilities between the original data and the reconstructed data, VAE learns Gaussian features containing both local and global neighborhood information. Finally, monitoring statistics are constructed for monitoring. The efficiency of the proposed approach is verified on a multiphase flow facility and a waste-water treatment process. © 2020 IEEE.

Two Stages Segmentation Algorithm of Breast Tumor in DCE-MRI Based on Multi-Scale Feature and Boundary Attention Mechanism
