The higher audio quality of steganography is directly correlated with the increased resistance to steganalysis tools. The advancement of generative AI technologies, particularly those that decouple style features from content, has shown promising developments by facilitating the creation of superior media content. This paper introduces the concept of audio decoupling and presents HIFI-Stego, an embedding audio steganography technique that aims to improve security while maintaining elevated stego audio quality. HIFI-Stego comprises a generator based on the encoder-decoder architecture and a secret message extractor. The encoder of the generator decouples the original audio, yielding the content vector, while the vocoder WORLD is employed to extract the style vector to preserve high-quality audio related features such as timbre and tone. Subsequently, the decoder embeds the secret vector into the decoupled content vector and then couples it with the style vector to generate high-fidelity stego audio. As embedding is not done in traditional time domain or frequency domain, existing analysis tools targeted at traditional steganographies fail to effectively detect the presence of the hidden message. The secret message extractor reuses the generator encoder and augments it with a single-layer convolutional neural network, resulting in a simplified structure suitable for lightweight deployment. Experimental results demonstrate that HIFI-Stego outperforms traditional generative and embedding steganographies in terms of audio quality, steganographic capacity, anti-analysis ability, and concealment.

A community detection model based on hierarchical graph clustering network with probability distribution

In order to capture the hidden structure of networks and reduce the dependence of community detection models on the choice of initial parameters, this paper proposes a community detection model based on hierarchical graph clustering networks with probability distribution (HGCPD). Firstly, graph convolutional networks are utilized to learn and cache feature representations of nodes in the graph. Then, a hierarchical clustering method based on node pair similarity probability is introduced to recursively construct community structures at different levels. Finally, the problem of model hyperparameter optimization is explored, and the Bayesian optimization methods are designed to automatically adjust parameters, thereby improving the efficiency of the model. Experiments on multiple network datasets of different scales show that the HGCPD model is superior to mainstream methods in terms of the accuracy and effectiveness of community detection, and the model's interpretability is verified through visualization. © 2025 Northeast University. Benchmarking Temporal Reasoning and Alignment Across Chinese Dynasties

Temporal reasoning is fundamental to human cognition and is crucial for various real-world applications. While recent advances in Large Language Models have demonstrated promising capabilities in temporal reasoning, existing benchmarks primarily rely on rule-based construction, lack contextual depth, and involve a limited range of temporal entities. To address these limitations, we introduce Chinese Time Reasoning (CTM), a benchmark designed to evaluate LLMs on temporal reasoning within the extensive scope of Chinese dynastic chronology. CTM emphasizes cross-entity relationships, pairwise temporal alignment, and contextualized and culturally-grounded reasoning, providing a comprehensive evaluation. network traffic classification serves as a fundamental component of both network management and cybersecurity, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and security of modern communication infrastructures. Among various network security threats, the accurate identification of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks remains particularly crucial, as such attacks have the potential to severely compromise system availability and overall network reliability. DDoS attacks can cause significant disruptions to network services by overwhelming targeted systems with an excessive volume of malicious traffic, leading to service outages, rapid depletion of computational and network resources, and substantial financial losses. These consequences critically impair the Quality of Service (QoS), affecting both end users and service providers by degrading network performance and reducing operational efficiency. While centralized machine learning models have demonstrated notable success in detecting DDoS attacks by leveraging vast amounts of labeled data for training, their deployment in real-world network environments is hindered by several intrinsic challenges. One of the most critical issues is the highly imbalanced distribution of network traffic data, where attack patterns and normal traffic exhibit significant variations across different clients. Furthermore, the centralized collection and transmission of large-scale network data not only introduce severe privacy and security concerns but also pose substantial bandwidth and storage constraints, making traditional data aggregation approaches impractical. Additionally, heterogeneous network devices—ranging from high-performance servers to resource-constrained edge devices—operate under diverse computational capabilities and network conditions, while the constantly evolving nature of network traffic dynamics further complicates the feasibility of real-time DDoS detection and mitigation strategies. Currently, many change detection (CD) methods rely on supervised learning, which necessitates extensive manually annotated data, resulting in significant labor and time requirements. Recently, semi-supervised (SS) approaches have emerged in the CD community, which exploit large amounts of unlabeled data by utilizing consistency regularization. However, these methods do not consider the broader perturbation consistency to confer better generalization of the model. In this paper, we propose a novel SS CD framework with a comprehensive perturbation consistency called CPC, which extends perturbation consistency to the entire learning period. Specifically, our CPC combines the input, feature, and network perturbations for comprehensive perturb space. And, we design two distinct structures in practice, decoupled CPC and coupled CPC. Furthermore, we propose a change-aware input perturbation that introduces expensive annotation information to further expand the input perturb space. Extensive experiments conducted on the WHUCD, and GZ-CD datasets demonstrate that the proposal performs favorably against the state-of-the-art methods.

The Tor network, while offering anonymity through traffic routing across volunteer-operated nodes, remains vulnerable to attacks that aim to deanonymize users by correlating traffic patterns between colluded entry and exit nodes in circuits. This paper presents a novel approach for detecting anomalous circuits in the Tor network, and for the first time provides a more comprehensive identification of potential malicious accomplice nodes in Tor by taking roles of nodes in anomalous circuits into consideration. Our method strategically utilizes modified middle nodes to capture traffic data, followed by a novel circuit classification based on traffic patterns to pinpoint concerned circuits. Two kinds of anomalies are identified: routing anomalies and usage anomalies, that respectively represent the anomalies with explicit or implicit violation of Tor’s circuit construction guidelines. This leads to a successful revealing of totally 1,960 anomalous nodes in Tor. Furthermore, we apply clustering analysis with considering corresponding anomalous circuits and other key characteristics to the detected anomalous nodes, revealing potential hidden organizations behind these nodes that can threaten the network’s security. Our findings highlight the necessity for the Tor project to adopt targeted mitigation strategies to enhance overall network security and privacy. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Rehearse With User: Personalized Opinion Summarization via Role-Playing based on Large Language Models

Personalized opinion summarization is crucial as it considers individual user interests while generating product summaries. Recent studies show that although large language models demonstrate powerful text summarization and evaluation capabilities without the need for training data, they face difficulties in personalized tasks involving long texts. To address this, Rehearsal, a personalized opinion summarization framework via LLMs-based role-playing is proposed. Having the model act as the user, the model can better understand the user’s personalized needs. Additionally, a role-playing supervisor and practice process are introduced to improve the role-playing ability of the LLMs, leading to a better expression of user needs. Furthermore, through suggestions from virtual users, the summary generation is intervened, ensuring that the generated summary includes information of interest to the user, thus achieving personalized summary generation. Experiment results demonstrate that our method can effectively improve the level of personalization in large model-generated summaries. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Multi-Instance Partial-Label Learning with Margin Adjustment

Multi-instance partial-label learning (MIPL) is an emerging learning framework where each training sample is represented as a multi-instance bag associated with a candidate label set. Existing MIPL algorithms often overlook the margins for attention scores and predicted probabilities, leading to suboptimal generalization performance. A critical issue with these algorithms is that the highest prediction probability of the classifier may appear on a non-candidate label. In this paper, we propose an algorithm named MIPLMA, i.e., Multi-Instance Partial-Label learning with Margin Adjustment, which adjusts the margins for attention scores and predicted probabilities. We introduce a margin-aware attention mechanism to dynamically adjust the margins for attention scores and propose a margin distribution loss to constrain the margins between the predicted probabilities on candidate and non-candidate label sets. Experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of MIPLMA over existing MIPL algorithms, as well as other well-established multi-instance learning algorithms and partial-label learning algorithms. Improving User QoE via Joint Trajectory and Resource Optimization in Multi-UAV Assisted MEC

As a promising network architecture, Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), has been proven that can effectively reduce the end-to-end latency and the energy consumption. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) assisted MEC network, where the UAV can provide the computation offloading services for the mobile users, can further alleviate the huge deployment cost of static edge servers. However, it remains unsolved how multiple cooperative flying UAVs serve the ground users, especially considering that these UAVs may share the same wireless channel and can communicate with the users while flying. In this paper, we first propose the Age of Task (AoT) metric to measure the quality of experience, and then formulate the joint optimization problem to minimize the worst AoT among all the users. Based on the block coordinate descent (BCD) method, this problem is transformed into three non-convex programming sub-problems (i.e., the UAV-user association sub-problem, the UAV trajectory planning sub-problem and the transmit power optimization sub-problem). Specifically, the successive convex approximation (SCA) technique is exploited iteratively to deal with the non-convexity in the UAV trajectory and transmit power optimization. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the benchmark offloading schemes in terms of AoT. © 2008-2012 IEEE.

Incremental Verification of Evolving BPEL-Based Web Composite Service

Web composite services inevitably evolve to meet various requirements. However, most researchers only considered the verification of single versions. Simply reapplying the original verification techniques on subsequent versions of composite service as they evolve is costly,especially for large-scale services. In this paper, a new approach called Incremental verification(ICV) is proposed to incrementally verify the non-conflict property of evolved versions of Business process execution language(BPEL)based composite service. With a kind of e Xtensible control flow graph(XCFG) as the formal model to describe the BPEL process, ICV compares the new version with the old one to identify the process changes which bring threats to the non-conflict property. Then it concentrates on the changed elements to perform the verification, which reduces the cost by skipping the analysis of unchanged elements. Case study shows that the proposed approach is effective and more efficient than the original verification method.
