Migrating birds optimization(MBO) is a newly reported metaheuristic that has been proved effective in dealing with combinatorial optimization *** this paper,we propose an enhanced MBO(EMBO) to solve a lot-streaming flow shop scheduling problem with setup times,in which job-splitting and job scheduling are considered *** objective is to minimize the *** EMBO,a two-stage vector is employed to represent solutions in the *** idea from artificial bee colony,a special neighbor structure is designed to create new ***,attempting to jump out of the local best,a new solution update scheme is *** tests are conducted and comparisons with other recent algorithms show the superiority of the proposed EMBO.

This paper is concerned with the sampled-data state estimation problem for a class of delayed neural networks with randomly occurring sensor *** of the continuous measurements,the system measurements are sampled and then transmitted to the estimator to estimate the state of the neural network with simultaneous consideration of stochastic sensor *** employing the input delay approach,the sampling period is converted into a bounded timevary delay in the estimation error *** employing Lyapunov-functional approach and utilizing LMI technique,sufficient conditions have been derived to guarantee that the estimation error dynamics is exponentially stable in the mean ***,a simulation example has been applied to show the effectiveness of the proposed state estimation approach.

3D display has become increasingly popular in many fields. It can provide incredible immersion compared with 2D display. There are many researches referring to the change of user about no matter subjective experience or objective physiology signal while watching 3D content. Similarly, in this paper, we study the variation of user’s EEG when the user watched 3D content. However, we only focus on parallax cue and avoid other cues of 3D content by using Random Dot Stereogram(RDS) as visual stimulus. We designed an experiment which asked the subject to watch RDS with nine kinds of parallaxes(0,±0.5,±1.1,±1.3,±1.7). The users watched one RDS for 1 minute and then closed eyes and rest for 1 minute every time. During watching, EEG signal with 30-channel was recorded. The result suggests that significant variation of the user’s EEG data occurred in the Alpha(8-13Hz) and Beta(14-30Hz) frequency band by different parallax’s comparison. And we found not only parallax but also electrode position can impact the user’s EEG data significantly. Accurately, the EEG data has a significant change in six electrodes position in both frequency bands including CZ 、 PZ 、 OZ 、 O2 in international 10-20 system. It means those electrode positions we detect can be regarded as typical positions where we record EEG signal. It will simplify the process of EEG signal acquisition when we need to study the relationship between parallax cue of 3D display and the user further. © 2018 SID.

In cloud computing, data is duplicated to prevent data loss. One way to achieve data consistency in such a distributed computing systems is to use a blockchain. Based on practical Byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT), a specific type of blockchain, this paper proposes a synchronous Byzantine fault tolerance (SBFT) algorithm that not only maintains data consistency, but also has much higher efficiency than other general blockchain algorithms. We provide experimental results that demonstrate the algorithm's data consistency, efficiency, and reliability.

This paper is concerned with the stability of sampled-data system with sensor and actuator saturations using discontinuous Lyapunov functional approach. The system measurements are sampled and then transmitted to dynamic output-feedback controller, and a closed-loop system is modeled as an interval time-varying delay control system with nonlinear items. Through constructing discontinuous Lyapunov function and employing linear matrix inequality approach, sufficient conditions for asymptotical stability are derived;further, under the above stability condition, a dynamic output-feedback controller is designed. Lastly, a numerical example is cited to prove the practical utility of the proposed method.

Motion blur is a common photography artifact in dynamic environments that typically comes jointly with the other types of degradation. This paper reviews the NTIRE 2021 Challenge on Image Deblurring. In this challenge report, we describe the challenge specifics and the evaluation results from the 2 competition tracks with the proposed solutions. While both the tracks aim to recover a high-quality clean image from a blurry image, different artifacts are jointly involved. In track 1, the blurry images are in a low resolution while track 2 images are compressed in JPEG format. In each competition, there were 338 and 238 registered participants and in the final testing phase, 18 and 17 teams competed. The winning methods demonstrate the state-of-the-art performance on the image deblurring task with the jointly combined artifacts. © 2021, CC BY-NC-ND.

This paper presents an inter-turn fault (ITF) diagnosis method for permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM) based on variational mode decomposition (VMD). In this paper, VMD decomposes zero sequence voltage component (ZSVC) into a set of intrinsic mode function (IMF) components, and the inter-turn fault is diagnosed by observing the variations of the related IMFs containing the fault characteristics. Simulation is carried out to validate the proposed approach. The simulation results show that the proposed method is an effective diagnostic technique, which can be effectively applied for the ITF diagnosis in the PMSM.

The conventional PID controller cannot have a satisfactory performance when it has been applied in the nonlinear system. In this paper, GCAQBP algorithm for complex-valued neural networks is proposed in control system. The approach based on an artificial neural network (ANN) is presented for control system. The ANN model is based on GCAQBP (Globally Convergent Adaptive Quick Back Propagation) algorithm. The method adopts the advanced algorithm of BPNN for nonlinear system to estimate the parameters of PID, increase the control signal and reduce the error results. Simulations show it has high robustness, simulation results are also presented to exhibit the effectiveness of the proposed GCAQBP algorithm. © 2018 Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association. In this work, we propose an enhanced fruit fly optimization（En FFO） to solve the flexible job shop scheduling problem with the consideration of lot streaming, the criterion of which is total flowtime minimization. In En FFO, the multi-swarm scheme is utilized to balance the exploitation and exploration ability. To better match the two sub-problems in FJSP, we introduce new solution representation and decoding scheme. In addition, considering characteristics of multi-swarm FFO and FJSP, adaptive search scheme and information interaction tactics are presented to strengthen search performance of the algorithm. Finally, comparisons with recent algorithms verify the superiority of the proposed En FFO for the considered problem.
