Enterprises outsourcing their databases to the cloud and authorizing multiple users for access represents a typical use scenario of cloud storage services. In such a case of database outsourcing, data encryption is a good approach enabling the data owner to retain its control over the outsourced data. Searchable encryption is a cryptographic primitive allowing for private keyword based search over the encrypted database. The above setting of enterprise outsourcing database to the cloud requires multi-user searchable encryption, whereas virtually all of the existing schemes consider the single-user setting. To bridge this gap, we are motivated to propose a practical multi-user searchable encryption scheme, which has a number of advantages over the known approaches. The associated model and security requirements are also formulated. We further discuss to extend our scheme in several ways so as to achieve different search capabilities. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper provides a navigation system model and some critical implementation techniques. Softman is introduced into this system, and its migration model and strategy are all proposed, which can improve the Softman's adaptability in complex network and host environment. A feature mapping and concept expansion method is also presented to describe the semantic of multimedia information and establish concept network using ontology. The implementation of tour planning on PDA demonstrates the validity of proposed methods.

In the design and planning of next-generation Internet of Things(IoT),telecommunication,and satellite communication systems,controller placement is crucial in software-defined networking(SDN).The programmability of the SDN controller is sophisticated for the centralized control system of the entire ***,it creates a significant loophole for the manifestation of a distributed denial of service(DDoS)attack ***,recently a Distributed Reflected Denial of Service(DRDoS)attack,an unusual DDoS attack,has been ***,minimal deliberation has given to this forthcoming single point of SDN infrastructure failure ***,recently the high frequencies of DDoS attacks have increased *** this paper,a smart algorithm for planning SDN smart backup controllers under DDoS attack scenarios has *** proposed smart algorithm can recommend single or multiple smart backup controllers in the event of DDoS *** obtained simulated results demonstrate that the validation of the proposed algorithm and the performance analysis achieved 99.99%accuracy in placing the smart backup controller under DDoS attacks within 0.125 to 46508.7 s in SDN.

Traditional cloud database directly stores user plaintext information, information security is directly related to the security of Cloud server, which will create a great security risk. The user's information security is not guaranteed. In this paper, a database encryption technology is designed, which can balance the problem of information security and use efficiency well. In this paper, a simplified onion encryption model is designed and implemented, which can realize the full homomorphic encryption on the cloud database to a certain extent, and improve the efficiency of ciphertext operation to a certain extent.

Mental illness is a considerable global public health problem, impacting both individual well-being and society's health. The growing popularity of social media and the increase of other data sources led to more research interest in detecting mental illness with a particular focus on utilizing and fusing emotional information. Artificial intelligence techniques like natural language processing and others, have shown encouraging improvements in recognizing complex relationships in a wide range of textual data, including clinical notes, social media posts, and interviews. In this paper, we assess the different branches of artificial intelligence based on previous research in mental illness detection, discussing methods, trends, challenges, and future research directions.

Segmenting organs in CT scan images is a necessary process for multiple downstream medical image analysis tasks. Currently, manual CT scan segmentation by radiologists is prevalent, especially for organs like the pancreas, which requires a high level of domain expertise for reliable segmentation due to factors like small organ size, occlusion, and varying shapes. When resorting to automated pancreas segmentation, these factors translate to limited reliable labeled data to train effective segmentation models. Consequently, the performance of contemporary pancreas segmentation models is still not within acceptable ranges. To improve that, we propose M3BUNet, a fusion of MobileNet and U-Net neural networks, equipped with a novel Mean-Max (MM) attention that operates in two stages to gradually segment pancreas CT images from coarse to fine with mask guidance for object detection. This approach empowers the network to surpass segmentation performance achieved by similar network architectures and achieve results that are on par with complex state-of-the-art methods, all while maintaining a low parameter count. Additionally, we introduce external contour segmentation as a preprocessing step for the coarse stage to assist in the segmentation process through image standardization. For the fine segmentation stage, we found that applying a wavelet decomposition filter to create multi-input images enhances pancreas segmentation performance. We extensively evaluate our approach on NIH and MSD pancreas datasets. Our approach demonstrates performance improvement, achieving an average DSC value of up to 89.53±1.82 and IOU score of up to 81.16±0.03 for the NIH, and 88.60 ±1.48 DSC and 79.90±2.19 IOU for the MSD. © 2024, The Authors. Recent years have witnessed the great success of convolutional neural network (CNN) based models in the field of computer vision. CNN is able to learn hierarchically abstracted features from images in an end-to-end training manner. However, most of the existing CNN models only learn features through a feedforward structure and no feedback information from top to bottom layers is exploited to enable the networks to refine themselves. In this paper, we propose a "Learning with Rethinking" algorithm. By adding a feedback layer and producing the emphasis vector, the model is able to recurrently boost the performance based on previous prediction. Particularly, it can be employed to boost any pre-trained models. This algorithm is tested on four object classification benchmark datasets: CIFAR-100, CIFAR-10, MNIST-background-image and ILSVRC-2012 dataset. In this paper, we present a robot middleware technology named robot software communications architecture (RSCA) for its use in networked home service robots. The RSCA provides a standard operating environment for the robot applications together with a framework that expedites the development of such applications. The operating environment is comprised of a real-time operating system, a communication middleware, and a deployment middleware. Particularly, the deployment middleware supports the reconfiguration of component-based robot applications including installation, creation, start, stop, tear-down, and un-installation. In designing RSCA, we have adopted a middleware called SCA from the software defined radio domain and extend it since the original SCA lacks the real-time guarantees and appropriate event services. We have fully implemented RSCA and performed measurements to quantify its run-time performance. Our implementation clearly shows the viability of RSCA

Network failures are unavoidable and occur *** the network fails,intra-domain routing protocols deploying on the Internet need to undergo a long convergence *** this period,a large number of messages are discarded,which results in a decline in the user experience and severely affects the quality of service of Internet Service Providers(ISP).Therefore,improving the availability of intra-domain routing is a trending research question to be *** usually employs routing protection algorithms to improve intra-domain routing ***,existing routing protection schemes compute as many backup paths as possible to reduce message loss due to network failures,which increases the cost of the network and impedes the methods deployed in *** address the issues,this study proposes an efficient routing protection algorithm based on optimized network topology(ERPBONT).ERPBONT adopts the optimized network topology to calculate a backup path with the minimum path coincidence degree with the shortest path for all source ***,the backup path with the minimum path coincidence with the shortest path is described as an integer programming *** the simulated annealing algorithm ERPBONT is used to find the optimal ***,the algorithm is tested on the simulated topology and the real *** experimental results show that ERPBONT effectively reduces the path coincidence between the shortest path and the backup path,and significantly improves the routing availability.
