In this paper, a nonlinear adaptive regulation controller is presented for a class of underactuated quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The vehicle's dynamics is subject to modeling impression associated with the inertia matrix, aerodynamic damping coefficients, and some other system parameters. The on-line parameter estimation scheme is combined with feedback control to develop the adaptive control laws. Lyapunov based approaches are utilized to prove that the quadrotor UAV's position and yaw angle regulation errors are ultimately driven to zero under parametric uncertainties. Simulation results are included to demonstrate the performance of the control strategy.

With the turbine flow sensor applications increasingly widespread, the requirements of the turbine flow sensor accuracy are also higher. In this paper, the simulation model was built in strict accordance with the experimental 15 mm diameter turbine flow sensor's geometric structure with careful grid resolutions. Five kinds of turbulence models, including standard k-ω, SST k ω, RNG k-ε, Realizable k-ε and RSM, were used in three dimensional simulation of 15 mm diameter liquid turbine flow sensor and compared with the experimental data. The results showed that the relative error of the average meter factor between simulation and experimental results can reach 2.6% level. RNG k-ε and RSM model can more exactly predict the sensor's linearity. Standard k-ω can be more exact for the prediction of the meter factor of the sensor. The friction torque between the shaft and bearings obtained by theoretical formula has little effect on the turbine flow sensor simulation accuracy.

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis and controller design for a class of discrete-time Markovian jump systems subject to incomplete knowledge of transition probabilities. Different from the previous results, some free-weighting matrices are introduced to obtain some new criteria with less conservatism. It is theoretically shown that the previous results are special cases if the free-weighting matrices are chosen to be some special forms. This brings much less conservatism compared with the previous ones. A numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness the proposed method.
