Human beings perceive the world through the senses of sight,hearing,smell,taste,touch,space,and *** first five senses are prerequisites for people to *** sensing organs upload information to the nervous systems,including the brain,for interpreting the surrounding ***,the brain sends commands to muscles reflexively to react to stimuli,including light,gas,chemicals,sound,and ***,as an emerging two-dimensional material,has been intensively adopted in the applications of various sensors and *** this review,we update the sensors to mimic five primary senses and actuators for stimulating muscles,which employ MXene-based film,membrane,and composite with other functional ***,a brief introduction is delivered for the structure,properties,and synthesis methods of ***,we feed the readers the recent reports on the MXene-derived image sensors as artificial retinas,gas sensors,chemical biosensors,acoustic devices,and tactile sensors for electronic ***,the actuators of MXene-based composite are ***,future opportunities are given to MXene research based on the requirements of artificial intelligence and humanoid robot,which may induce prospects in accompanying healthcare and biomedical engineering applications.

With the explosive growth of vehicle applications, vehicular networks based on millimeter wave (mmWave) bands have attracted interests from both academia and industry. mmWave communications are able to utilize the huge available bandwidth to provide multiple Gbps transmission rates among vehicles. In this paper, we address the content distribution scheduling problem in mmWave vehicular networks. It has been challenging for all vehicles in the same network to complete content downloading due to the limited communication resources of roadside units (RSUs) and the high mobility of vehicles. We propose a joint vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) scheduling scheme to minimize the total number of content distribution time slots from a global optimization perspective. In the V2I phase, the RSU serially transmits integrity content to vehicles, which are selected according to the vehicular network topology and transmission scheduling scheme. In the V2V phase, full-duplex communications and concurrent transmissions are exploited to achieve content sharing between vehicles and improve transmission efficiency. Performance evaluations demonstrate that our proposed scheme reduces the number of time slots and significantly improves system throughput when compared with other schemes, especially under large-size file transfers and a large number of vehicles. This paper explores aggregative games in a network of general linear systems subject to external disturbances. To deal with external disturbances, distributed strategy-updating rules based on internal model are proposed for the case with perfect and imperfect information, respectively. Different from existing algorithms based on gradient dynamics, by introducing the integral of gradient of cost functions on the basis of passive theory, the rules are proposed to force the strategies of all players to evolve to Nash equilibrium regardless the effect of disturbances. The convergence of the two strategy-updating rules is analyzed via Lyapunov stability theory, passive theory and singular perturbation theory. The Industrial Internet of Things or Industry 4.0 efficiently enhances the manufacturing process in terms of raising productivity, system performance, cost reduction, and building large-scale systems. It enables the connection of numerous heterogeneous devices and sensors into the internet network through the utilization of revolutionary techniques that transfer the manufacturing paradigm to intelligent processes. The traditional industrial internet of things adopts centralized architectures and complex encryption algorithms that suffer from several cyber-security threats and lead to data leakage, privacy disclosure, and high computational and communicational costs. In our work, we proposed a decentralized, efficient, low-power, scalable, secure, privacy-preserving, and trusting architecture based on a private blockchain network/smart contract and interplanetary file system technology for the Al-NajafyIraq oil refinery factory. That enables autonomous working and provides a high level of security authentication and privacy preservation, P2P communication, remote access, immutability and information backtracking. Traditional blockchain technology has storage limitation issues, most recent works adopted external servers or the cloud for storage purposes. Our proposed scheme addresses the limitations of blockchain data storage by adopting an interplanetary file system (IPFS) network;provides an efficient data encryption mechanism at the perceptual layer by adopting a lightweight encryption algorithm, high-performance, and ultra-low-power consumption ARM Cortex-M microcontroller. In addition, our architecture succeeds in merging blockchain technology, IoTs, and an IPFS with the oil refinery as an industrial application area. Moreover, it provides an efficient framework that resists common cyber-security attacks and realizes cyber-security requirements represented by data availability, integrity, and confidentiality. © 2022 IEEE.

Three-phase four-leg four-wire voltage source inverter (3P4L4W VSI) attracts more attention in many power electronics applications due to its flexibility for both balanced and unbalanced loads, where the power efficiency is a critical point. Conventional Si semiconductor devices suffer from large switching loss due to large parasitic capacitances and thus limit its switching frequency. As a result, it further limits the power density and efficiency improvement. The SiC/Si hybrid switch formed by SiC-MOSFET and Si-IGBT in parallel (SiC/Si HyS) can improve the switching frequency with high efficiency and low cost, which helps to design a power converter with high power density and high efficiency. However, the application of SiC/Si HyS in 3P4L4W faces some challenges, such as the drive circuit design, the proper delay selection, etc.. In this paper, a SiC/Si HyS based 3P4L4W VSI is introduced and the optimal turn-off time delay selection for the SiC/Si HyS used in 3P4L4W VSI is analyzed. A systematical way to calculate the power loss in the SiC/Si HyS is presented. A 5-kW/50kHz 3P4L4W VSI is taken as an example for validating the theory and method. It is found the peak efficiency of the 3P4L4W VSI is 97.5%, and the unbalanced phase load leads to more power loss and degrade the efficiency. The work in this paper provides practical guidance for a SiC/Si HyS based 3P4L4W VSI inverter design. © 2021 IEEE.

The research on the combustion stability of coal-fired power plant boilers is related to the safe operation and economic benefits of the boiler. The combustion stability judgement plays an important role for the assessment of flexibility retrofit with coal-fired power plants participating in deep peak-regulating operation. Therefore, the study of combustion stability judgment has always been a hot research direction. This paper briefly introduces the development history of boiler flame combustion stability research, and focuses on two popular research directions in this field in recent years, namely flame image combustion stability detection method and multi-information fusion combustion Stability testing methods, briefly summarize the development trends of these two research directions and their respective advantages. Then, the current research status and problems in this field are put forward three aspects of thinking and suggestions. Finally, several problems that need to be solved in the future development of combustion stability research are summarized.

Data-driven modeling methods are widely used in industrial processes as the foundation of control and optimization. The selection of optimal variable set plays an important role in model performance. In order to enhance the model prediction accuracy, a partial mutual information (PMI) method was proposed to select the optimal variable set. Benchmarks were used to validate the effectiveness of PMI method. Then, PMI method was applied to select main influencing factors of NOx emission of coal-fired boiler and the selection results were used as inputs of three different data-driven models. The comparison between the models with or without variable selection was made. The results showed that the PMI method enhanced the model prediction accuracy and avoided the over-fitting problem. © 2020 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In this paper, we study the channel selection problem in edge computing-empowered cognitive machine-to-machine (CM2M) communications, where a massive number of machine type devices (MTDs) offload their computational tasks to a nearby edge server by opportunistically using the spectra that are temporarily unoccupied by primary users (PUs). We formulate the channel selection problem as an adversarial multi-armed bandit (MAB) problem, and combine the exponential-weight algorithm for exploration and exploitation (EXP3) and Lyapunov optimization to develop a learning-based energy-efficient solution named SEB-EXP3. It can find the long-term optimal channel selection strategy with guaranteed performance based on local information, while simultaneously achieving service reliability awareness, energy awareness, and data backlog awareness. Four heuristic algorithms are compared with SEB-EXP3 to demonstrate its effectiveness and reliability under various simulation settings. © 2020 IEEE.

Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a nonlinear signal that reflects the physio-logical state of the brain at different times, containing rich information. However, the possible interference during the collection and transmission process often leads to a large amount of unnecessary noise in the EEG signal. Traditional denoising methods may face difficulties in high-dimensional data processing and the inability to effectively handle different types of Gaussian white noise. To better eliminate the interference of Gaussian white noise, this article specifically adopts the Hierarchical Rauch-Tung-Striebel Smoother (HRTS) method. This method can effectively integrate the learned structural prior EEG signals into the state space model, thereby describing the relationship between EEG signals and noise. Capture the spatiotemporal characteristics of EEG signals through hierarchical modeling, and optimize the components of EEG signals through estimation and prediction of hidden variables. Finally, the mean square error (MSE) is used as an evaluation indicator to compare and evaluate the denoising results. Empirical research has shown that the HRTS algorithm can not only effectively reduce runtime and better process high-dimensional data, but also significantly improve the quality of EEG signals, effectively suppress noise interference, and more accurately reflect the characteristics of brain activity. Compared to denoising algorithms such as Kalman filtering and Kalman wavelet filtering, the HRTS algorithm has more advantages in denoising EEG signals. © 2024, J. Network Intell.
