The paper discusses key aspects of the digitalization of nuclear power in the context of the transition to Industry 5.0. The topic's relevance is due to the global transition of world industries to the concept of Industry 5.0, which is focused on integrating digital technologies, strengthening the human-centricity of management services, and increasing their adaptability to new challenges. Particular attention is paid to the use of digital twins and intelligent operator support systems (IOSS) at nuclear power facilities, which transforms their management, considering modern safety, reliability, and efficiency requirements. The paper describes the principles of creating digital twins of NPPs and considers the role of IOSS, the main tasks of which are to increase the level of awareness of NPP operators about the current state of the system, reduce the response time to emergency events, and automate decision-making. The authors propose an algorithm for interacting with a digital twin and IOSS, including collecting and processing data from real systems, modeling in a virtual environment, forecasting scenarios, and recommendations to the operator for optimal control. The algorithm ensures synchronization of the digital model with actual processes, optimization of operating parameters, and increased safety through early detection of deviations. The paper also focuses on the connection of the algorithm with the principles of Industry 5.0.
