This paper develops a continuous-time primal-dual accelerated method with an increasing damping coefficient for a class of convex optimization problems with affine equality constraints. We then analyze critical values for parameters in the proposed method and prove that the rate of convergence is O(t12 ) by choosing proper parameters. As far as we know, this is the first continuous-time primal-dual accelerated method that can obtain the optimal rate. Then this work applies the proposed method to two network optimization problems, a distributed optimization problem with consensus constraints and a distributed extended monotropic optimization problem, and obtains two variant distributed algorithms. Finally, numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, facial expression recognition technology has gradually been applied to primary and secondary schools. This article first introduces the application of facial expression recognition in education. Then the development of facial expression recognition and the four basic processes of facial expressions are described. After that, the methods and algorithms used in face detection and localization of face expression recognition and classification are summarized, feature extraction and classification are summarized. Finally, the current application of facial expression recognition technology in education and the existing problems and future development are pointed out.

Grapevine Leafroll Disease (GLD) poses a significant economic burden on the wine industry in major wine-producing regions. Conventional methods of phenotyping GLD are inefficient and delay vineyard management decisions. The emergence of affordable Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) provides unprecedented opportunities for GLD high-throughput phenotyping. However, detecting GLD-infected grapevines at the canopy level using UAV images is still a challenge due to the subtle differences between GLD canopy features and background. In this paper, we propose a GLD Detector (GLDD) for mapping GLD epidemics from UAV images. A new attention mechanism module, namely, Channel Attention with Transformers (CAT) is proposed to alleviate the difficulty of extracting high-resolution features from the elongated canopy. We redesigned YOLOv7-tiny for GLDD and conducted a series of ablation experiments to evaluate its performance. Experimental results show that GLDD outperforms YOLOv7-tiny by 3.1% and YOLOv6-tiny by 6.5%, reaching an accuracy of 88.2%. In comparison to several one-stage object detectors such as YOLOv5, YOLOX, PP-YOLOE, and YOLO-FaceV2, GLDD obtains the best detection results. Additionally, compared to convolutional-based detectors such as Faster-RCNN and transformer-based detector SwinT, GLDD performs better in speed and accuracy. Furthermore, GLD-infected grapevine distribution is also mapped by using GLDD detection results at the field scale.

In multi-agent system (MAS), the coalition formation (CF) is an important problem focusing on allocating agents to different tasks. In this paper, the single-task single-coalition (STSC) formation problem is considered. The mathematical model of the STSC problem is built with the objective of minimizing the total cost with the ability constraint. Besides, an efficient restart-enhanced genetic algorithm (REGA) is designed to solve the STSC problem. Furthermore, this paper constructs a comparison experiment, employing a random sampling method, an estimation of distribution algorithm and a genetic algorithm without restart strategy as competitors. The results of statistical analysis by the Wilcoxon’s rank-sum test demonstrate that the designed REGA performs better than its competitors in solving the STSC cases of different scales. © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Robust disturbance rejection for a fractional-order system based on equivalent-input-disturbance approach

This paper presents a disturbance rejection method that is based on the equivalent-inputdisturbance approach for uncertain fractional-order(FO) systems. An FO observer is used to reconstruct the plant states and estimate the disturbances. A disturbance estimator is incorporated in the construction of the FO control system to actively compensate for the entire disturbance. A robust stability condition for the control system and the parameters of the controller are derived using an indirect Lyapunov *** presented method effectively rejects disturbances and handles modeling uncertainties without requiring prior knowledge of the disturbance. Comparison simulations on both numerical and practical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper proposes the social manufacturing based on Blockchain, which realizes precise and efficient customization through smart contract and distributed accounting. It is a new manufacturing mode of service-oriented, distributed and collaborative customization. This paper proposes the definition of SM based on Blockchain. In the process of using to Blockchain, it can form a strong trust relationship, so that multiple nodes / roles in SM can save the complete copy of the whole database, rather than a centralized permission / role. Secondly, the Blockchain-based SM system is developed for customized manufacturing. Finally, its application case and the optimization results are given. In SM, it is the key that how to transform customized manufacturing actions into socialized actions of manufacturing resources through internet communities and interconnect Socialized Manufacturing Resources (SMRs) in upstream and downstream. In this paper, the smart contract relationship is established based on Blockchain between SMRs to build credit mechanism in SM, Which can ensure the effective circulation and association of SMRs.

Emotion is an important part of human interaction. Emotional recognition can greatly promote human-centered interaction techniques. On this basis, multimodal feature fusion can effectively improve the emotion recognition rate. However, in the multimodal feature fusion at the feature level, most of the methods do not consider the intrinsic relationship between different modes. Only the fusion of analysis and transformation of the feature matrices of different modes does not make better use of modal differences to improve the recognition rate. This problem led us to propose feature fusion method based on K-Means clustering and kernel canonical correlation analysis (KCCA). Clustering makes the classification of features not classified by mode, but by the degree of influence on emotional labels, thus positively affecting the results of KCCA. The experimental results obtained on the Savee database show that the proposed K-Means based KCCA improves overall classification performance and produces higher recognition rate than that of the state of art methods, such as the Informed Segmentation and Labeling Approach.

After reviewing the development of industrial manufacturing, a novel concept called social manufacturing(SM) and service are proposed as an innovative manufacturing solution for the coming personalized customization era. SM can realize a customer's requirements of "from mind to products", and fulfill tangible and intangible needs of a prosumer, i.e., producer and consumer at the same time. It represents a manufacturing trend,and is expected to become popular in more and more ***, a comparison between mass customization and SM is given out, and the basis and motivation from social network to SM is analyzed. Then, its basic theories and supporting technologies,like Internet of Things(Io T), social networks, cloud computing,3 D printing, and intelligent systems, are introduced and analyzed,and an SM platform prototype is developed. Finally, three transformation modes towards SM and 3 D printing are suggested for different user cases.

Formation control for multiple agents with local measurements: Continuous-time and sampled-data-based cases

We study the formation control problem for a group of mobile agents in a plane, in which each agent is modeled as a kinematic point and can only use the local measurements in its local frame. The agents are required to maintain a geometric pattern while keeping a desired distance to a static/moving target. The prescribed formation is a general one which can be any geometric pattern, and the neighboring relationship of the N-agent system only has the requirement of containing a directed spanning tree. To solve the formation control problem, a distributed controller is proposed based on the idea of decoupled design. One merit of the controller is that it only uses each agent's local measurements in its local frame, so that a practical issue that the lack of a global coordinate frame or a common reference direction for real multi-robot systems is successfully solved. Considering another practical issue of real robotic applications that sampled data is desirable instead of continuous-time signals, the sampled-data based controller is developed. Theoretical analysis of the convergence to the desired formation is provided for the multiagent system under both the continuous-time controller with a static/moving target and the sampled-data based one with a static target. In blockchain ecosystems, an Oracle is a service tool which provides real-world data for smart contracts and other blockchain applications. At present, there are several Oracle implementation schemes, e.g. centralized Oracles, decentralized Oracles, and hardware Oracles. However, these schemes typically suffer from single source of data and low scalability. Application Specific Knowledge Engine (ASKE) is an integrated topic/application-centered knowledge portal that supports effective information retrieval and analysis. Inspired by ASKE, in this paper, we propose a novel Oracle implementation scheme. The proposed scheme can realize multi-source data extraction and analysis, then working prototypes are demonstrated to show the validity of the scheme. © 2019 IEEE.
