Thermal-aware routing protocols in WBANs consider temperature factors in the routing process for preventing overheating of the tissues surrounding the sensor ***,providing an energy-efficient and thermal-aware routing in WBANs is a challenging *** deal with this problem,this article presents a novel temperature-aware routing protocol that applies Mamdani-based Fuzzy Logic controllers(FLCs)for selecting the next forwarding node in routing data *** FLCs apply five important input factors such as the priority of the packet,and sensor node's remaining energy,temperature,distance,and link path ***,a new hybrid version of the Marine Predator Algorithm(MPA),named MPAOA is presented by combining the exploration and exploitation phases of the MPA and Arithmetic optimization Algorithm(AOA).This algorithm is effectively applied for selecting the best possible set of fuzzy rules for FLCs and tuning their fuzzy *** experiments conducted in the Castalia simulator exhibit that the proposed temperature and priority-aware routing scheme can outperform other well-known routing schemes such as LATOR,TTRP,TAEO,ATAR,and EOCC-TARA in terms of metrics such as sensor nodes lifetime,the average temperature of the sensor nodes,and the percentage of the packets routed through non-overheated ***,it is shown that the MPAOA outperforms other algorithms such as Bat Algorithm(BA),Genetic Algorithm(GA),AOA,and MPA regarding the specified metrics.

This paper investigates the recursive filtering (RF) problem for stochastic multi-rate (MR) systems, where the information transmission is regulated by an improved weighted try-once-discard protocol (IWTODP). In order to reduce communication overhead and mitigate network congestion, the IWTODP is firstly proposed and designed to schedule the order of data transmission from the sensors. The main objective of this paper is to design a new RF scheme to minimize the upper bound (UB) on the filtering error (FE) covariance in each iteration step in the presence of IWTODP and MR sampling. In particular, an iterative way is given to provide the expression form of the gain of RF. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed RF method is illustrated through simulation example.

Convolutional neural network compression technology plays an extremely important role in model transplantation and deployment, especially in mobile and embedded hardware platforms with small memory and low computing power, compression technology is even more critical. Convolutional neural network channel pruning technology has developed rapidly in recent years, and a number of excellent pruning algorithms have emerged. The channel pruning technology has gradually developed from the earliest static pruning to dynamic pruning, which adopts different pruning schemes for different inputs. However, the current dynamic pruning scheme needs to introduce multiple modules to predict the mask to prune the feature maps, and some schemes also introduce multiple hyperparameters in the loss function to balance the model accuracy and pruning rate, which leads to The model has difficulty converging during training. We propose a dynamic pruning method, each convolution structure configures a simple prediction module, and generating dynamic labels through the input's norm and similarity to guide the prediction module training, which will not bring new parameters to the loss function. We conducted related experiments on multiple models on the Cifar10 datasets. The experiments on ResNet56 show that our scheme is 1.3% higher than the most advanced scheme in terms of compression rate under the premise of the same accuracy.

We propose and demonstrate a wavelength selective mode converter on silicon integrated platform. By utilizing grating assisted anti-reflection contra-asymmetric directional couplers (CADCs), wavelength selective TE 0 -TE 1 mode conversion could be achieved. Simulation results show that the operation wavelength is 1544.8 nm and 3 dB bandwidth is 8.3 nm. Insertion loss of the proposed device is simulated to be 0.29dB and the crosstalk is less than -50dB. The proposed device can be used in mode division multiplexing (MDM) wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) communication network.

Lithology identification serves as a crucial foundation for the precise exploration and safe exploitation of geological resources. However, challenges arise from the inherent imbalance and overlap present in logging data, making the accurate identification of lithology a complex task. Addressing these challenges effectively, this paper introduces a novel algorithm,the Error Correcting Output Code algorithm based on Hierarchical Clustering(HC-ECOC). The proposed algorithm initially formulates a coding matrix using distance and overlap measures between class clusters. Subsequently, it extends the length of the coding matrix by considering both the accuracy of the integrated classifier and the diversity among base classifiers. To evaluate the efficacy of the proposed method, comparisons were conducted with alternative algorithms using UCI datasets and an authentic lithology dataset. The results unequivocally demonstrate the superior performance of our algorithm.
