This article proposes a new predefined-time (PDT) stability theorem, which offers more evident advantages compared to previous predefined-time stability. Firstly, based on the limitations of existing PDT stability, this theorem relaxed the limitations of sufficient conditions, which fill the gap in the research on PDT stability. Secondly, the PDT synchronization of multi-modal memristive neural networks (MM-MNN) is analyzed by the usability of the new judgment theorem. A matching PDT controller is designed and sufficient synchronization control conditions is obtained by utilizing generalized Lyapunov functional method, set-valued mapping, inequality analysis technique and differential inclusion theory. Meanwhile, the topological characteristics of multi-modal neuron and its impact on network synchronization behavior are presented. Finally, we provide some confirmatory numerical simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

Infrared detection technology has the advantages of all-weather detection and good concealment,which is widely used in long-distance target detection and tracking ***,the complex background,the strong noise,and the characteristics of small scale and weak intensity of targets bring great difficulties to the detection of infrared small targets.A multi-channel based on attention network is proposed in this paper,aimed at the problem of high missed detection rate and false alarm rate of traditional algorithms and the problem of large model,high complexity and poor detection performance of deep learning ***,given the difficulty in extracting the features of infrared multiscale and small dim targets,the multiple channels are designed based on dilated convolution to capture multiscale target ***,the coordinate attention block is incorporated in each channel to suppress background clutters adaptively and enhance target *** addition,the fusion of shallow detail features and deep abstract semantic features is realized by synthesizing the contextual attention fusion ***,it is verified that,compared with other state-of-the-art methods based on the datasets SIRST and MDFA,the proposed algorithm further improves the detection effect,and the model size and computational complexity are smaller.

Unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA), which aims to transfer knowledge learned from a labeled source domain to an unlabeled target domain, is useful for various cross-domain image classification scenarios. A commonly used approach for UDA is to minimize the distribution differences between two domains, and subdomain alignment is found to be an effective method. However, most of the existing subdomain alignment methods are based on adversarial learning and focus on subdomain alignment procedures without considering the discriminability among individual subdomains, resulting in slow convergence and unsatisfactory adaptation results. To address these issues, we propose a novel deep subdomain alignment method for UDA in image classification, which consists of a Union Subdo-main Contrastive Learning (USCL) module and a Multi-view Subdomain Alignment (MvSA) strategy. USCL can create discriminative and dispersed subdomains by bringing samples from the same subdomain closer while pushing away samples from different subdomains. MvSA makes use of labeled source domain data and easy target domain data to perform target-to-source and target-to-target alignment. Experimental results on three image classifi-cation datasets (Office-31, Office-Home, Visda-17) demonstrate that our proposed method is effective for UDA and achieves promising results in several cross-domain image classification tasks. Knowledge tracing (KT) is a crucial task in online learning, aimed at tracing and predicting each student's knowledge states throughout their learning process. Over the past decade, it has garnered widespread attention due to it provides the potential for more tailored and adaptive online learning experiences. Although most current KT methodologies emphasize optimizing network structures to enhance predictive accuracy for future student performance, they often neglect anomalous interactions in students' learning processes, which may arise from low data quality (i.e., inferior question quality) and abnormal student behaviors (i.e., guessing and mistakes). To this end, in this paper, we propose a novel framework, termed HD-KT, designed to enhance the robustness of existing KT methodologies with Hybrid learning interactions Denoising approach. Specifically, we introduce two detectors for anomalous learning interactions, namely knowledge state-guided anomaly detector and student profile-guided anomaly detector. In the first detection module, we design a sequential autoencoder to identify anomalous learning interactions by detecting atypical student knowledge states. In the second module, we incorporate an attention mechanism by modeling a student's long-term profile to capture irregular interactions. Extensive experiments on four real-world benchmark datasets have decisively shown our HD-KT markedly boosts the robustness of numerous prevailing KT models, consequently increasing the accuracy of future student performance predictions. Additionally, our case studies highlight the versatility of HD-KT in addressing diverse downstream tasks, such as exercise quality analysis and learning behavior-based student clustering. © 2024 ACM.

SafeCFG: Redirecting Harmful Classifier-Free Guidance for Safe Generation

Diffusion models (DMs) have demonstrated exceptional performance in text-to-image (T2I) tasks, leading to their widespread use. With the introduction of classifier-free guidance (CFG), the quality of images generated by DMs is improved. However, DMs can generate more harmful images by maliciously guiding the image generation process through CFG. Some safe guidance methods aim to mitigate the risk of generating harmful images but often reduce the quality of clean image generation. To address this issue, we introduce the Harmful Guidance Redirector (HGR), which redirects harmful CFG direction while preserving clean CFG direction during image generation, transforming CFG into SafeCFG and achieving high safety and quality generation. We train HGR to redirect multiple harmful CFG directions simultaneously, demonstrating its ability to eliminate various harmful elements while preserving high-quality generation. Additionally, we find that HGR can detect image harmfulness, allowing for unsupervised fine-tuning of safe diffusion models without pre-defined clean or harmful labels. Experimental results show that by incorporating HGR, images generated by diffusion models achieve both high quality and strong safety, and safe DMs trained through unsupervised methods according to the harmfulness detected by HGR also exhibit good safety performance. In a multi-cloud storage system, provenance data records all operations and ownership during its lifecycle, which is critical for data security and audibility. However, recording provenance data also poses some challenging security and storage issues. In this paper, we present a secure and efficient multi-cloud storage data source scheme, BMDP. We use blockchain technology to ensure the secure storage of provenance data and design a smart contract to utilize the provenance data to ensure the proper operation of the multi-cloud storage system. Finally, we analyze the scheme's safety and do simulation experiments to show that the scheme has practicality. © 2023 IEEE.

Object navigation,whose goal is to let the agent to reach some places(or objects),has been a popular topic in embodied Artificial Intelligence(AI)***,in our real-world applications,it is more practical to find the targets with particular goals,raising the new requirements of finding the places to achieve the particular *** this paper,we define a new task of affordance navigation,whose goal is to find possible places to accomplish the required functions,achieving some particular *** first introduce a new dataset for affordance navigation,collected by the proposed affordance *** order to avoid the high cost of labor,the groundtruth of each episode which is annotated with the interaction data provided by the AI2-THOR *** addition,we also propose an affordance navigation framework,where an Object-to-Manipulation Graph(OMG)is constructed and optimized to emphasize the corresponding nodes(including object nodes and manipulation nodes).Finally,a navigation policy is implemented(trained by reinforcement learning)to guide the navigation to the target *** results on AI2-THOR simulator illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,which achieves significant gains of 14.0%and 11.7%(on success rate and Success weighted by Path Length(SPL),respectively)over the baseline model.

Large-Scale Riemannian Meta-Optimization via Subspace Adaptation

Riemannian meta-optimization provides a promising approach to solving non-linear constrained optimization problems, which trains neural networks as optimizers to perform optimization on Riemannian manifolds. However, existing Riemannian meta-optimization methods take up huge memory footprints in large-scale optimization settings, as the learned optimizer can only adapt gradients of a fixed size and thus cannot be shared across different Riemannian parameters. In this paper, we propose an efficient Riemannian meta-optimization method that significantly reduces the memory burden for large-scale optimization via a subspace adaptation scheme. Our method trains neural networks to individually adapt the row and column subspaces of Riemannian gradients, instead of directly adapting the full gradient matrices in existing Riemannian meta-optimization methods. In this case, our learned optimizer can be shared across Riemannian parameters with different sizes. Our method reduces the model memory consumption by six orders of magnitude when optimizing an orthogonal mainstream deep neural network (e.g. ResNet50). Experiments on multiple Riemannian tasks show that our method can not only reduce the memory consumption but also improve the performance of Riemannian meta-optimization. © 2025, CC BY-NC-ND.

Cloud storage services have been used by most businesses and individual users. However, data loss, service interruptions and cyber attacks often lead to cloud storage services not being provided properly, and these incidents have caused financial losses to users. Second, traditional and single-cloud model disaster recovery services are no longer suitable for the current complex cloud storage systems. Therefore, a scheme to provide disaster recovery for cloud storage services in a multi-cloud storage environment is needed in real production. In this paper, we propose a disaster recovery scheme based on blockchain technology. The proposed scheme outlined in this study aims to address the issue of data availability within the cloud storage landscape. The proposed scheme achieves this goal by dividing data into hot and cold categories, verifying the integrity of copy data via blockchain technology, and utilizing blockchain networks to manage multi-cloud storage systems. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed scheme yields superior results in terms of computation and time overheads. © 2023 IEEE.

Entity alignment plays a crucial role in the integration of knowledge graphs. However, current knowledge graphs often suffer from inconsistent construction standards, structural heterogeneity, and imprecise semantic representation of entities, which can lead to suboptimal embedding of structural information. Moreover, most existing entity alignment methods rely heavily on structural information, which limits alignment efficiency. To address these challenges, this paper presents Onto-IMF, an ontology-enhanced entity alignment method based on multi-feature fusion. This approach aims to enhance the semantic representation of entities by incorporating ontology information, thereby reducing structural discrepancies among heterogeneous graphs and improving the embedding of structural information. The multi-feature fusion entity alignment leverages diverse semantic features, including relations, attributes, and entity names, to achieve more accurate alignment. Experimental results on various DBP15K subsets indicate that the proposed method achieves Hits@l scores of 86.6%, 93.0%, and 97.7%, respectively, representing an average improvement of 7.9 % over the best-performing baseline models.
