Event camera has significant advantages in capturing dynamic scene information while being prone to noise interference, particularly in challenging conditions like low threshold and low illumination. However, most existing research focuses on gentle situations, hindering event camera applications in realistic complex scenarios. To tackle this limitation and advance the field, we construct a new paired real-world event denoising dataset (LED), including 3K sequences with 18K seconds of high-resolution (1200*680) event streams and showing three notable distinctions compared to others: diverse noise levels and scenes, larger-scale with high-resolution, and high-quality GT. Specifically, it contains stepped parameters and varying illumination with diverse scenarios. Moreover, based on the property of noise events inconsistency and signal events consistency, we propose a novel effective denoising framework(DED) using homogeneous dual events to generate the GT with better separating noise from the raw. Furthermore, we design a bio-inspired baseline leveraging Leaky-Integrate-and-Fire (LIF) neurons with dynamic thresholds to realize accurate denoising. Chinese Event Extraction Method Based on Roformer Model

Event extraction is an important research direction in the field of natural language processing. The current Chinese event extraction field still suffers from errors in the pretraining and fine-tuning stages, inability to directly handle texts with more than 512 tokens, and inaccurate event extraction due to insufficient semantic sample diversity. In this paper, we propose a Chinese event extraction method RoformerFC (Roformer model with FGM and CRF) based on the Roformer model to address the above problems. Firstly, our method utilizes the Roformer model based on rotary position embedding, which both moderates the errors in the pretraining and fine-tuning phases and allows the model to directly handle texts with more than 512 tokens;then, the adversarial networks based on FGM (fast gradient method) are realized to increase the diversity of semantic feature samples;finally, the classical CRF (conditional random fields) model is used to decode and identify the event element entity and its corresponding event role and event type. On the short text DuEE dataset, the microP, microR, and microF of our method improved 1.26%, 4.01%, and 2.68%, respectively, over the classical Chinese event extraction method BERT-CRF. On the long text JsEE dataset, the microP, microR, and microF of our method improved 2.26%, 5.03%, and 3.72%, respectively, over the classical Chinese event extraction method BERT-CRF. © 2023 Baohua Qiang et al.

In recent years, object detection has been widely used in various fields such as face detection, remote sensing image detection and pedestrian detection. Due to the complex environment in the actual scene, we need to fully obtain the feature information in the image to improve the accuracy of object detection. This paper proposes an object detection algorithm based on coordinate attention and contextual feature enhancement. We design a multi-scale attention feature pyramid network, which first uses multi-branch atrous convolution to capture multi-scale context information, and then fuses the coordinate attention mechanism to embed location information into channel attention, and finally uses a bidirectional feature pyramid structure to effectively fuse high-level features and low-level features. We also adopt the GIoU loss function to further improve the accuracy of object detection. The experimental results show that the proposed method has certain advantages compared with other detection algorithms in the PASCAL VOC datasets. © 2022 ACM.

Unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) aims to transfer the knowledge learned from the labeled source domain to the unlabeled target domain. Traditional methods often focus on minimizing the distribution gap between feature spaces of the two domains to achieve domain-invariant representations. However, this approach may not fully leverage the inherent class-specific information and could adversely affect decision boundaries in the target domain. In this paper, we introduce an adversarial contrastive self-training framework. The model integrates both intra-class and inter-class domain differences for better alignment between the source and target domains. Initially, we augment target domain samples using Fourier transformations, obtaining reliable samples and pseudo-labels through self-training. We then employ intra-domain contrastive learning on the reliable samples and pseudo-labels, alongside labeled source domain samples, to achieve intra-domain compactness. Finally, we utilize adversarial learning to achieve global alignment. This comprehensive approach ensures improved adaptation performance while also addressing the limitations of previous methods.

Terahertz(THz)imaging has drawn significant attention because THz wave has a unique capability to transient,ultrawide spectrum and low photon ***,the low resolution has always been a problem due to its long wavelength,limiting their application of fields practical *** this paper,we proposed a complex one-shot super-resolution(COSSR)framework based on a complex convolution neural network to restore superior THz images at 0.35 times wavelength by extracting features directly from a reference measured sample and groundtruth without the measured *** with real convolution neural network-based approaches and complex zero-shot super-resolution(CZSSR),COSSR delivers at least 6.67,0.003,and 6.96%superior higher imaging efficacy in terms of peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR),mean square error(MSE),and structural similarity index measure(SSIM),respectively,for the analyzed ***,the proposed method is experimentally demonstrated to have a good generalization and to perform well on measured *** COSSR provides a new pathway for THz imaging super-resolution(SR)reconstruction below the diffraction limit.

An Encoder-Decoder Model Based On Spiking Neural Networks For Address Event Representation Object Recognition

Address event representation (AER) object recognition task has attracted extensive attention in neuromorphic vision processing. The spike-based and event-driven computation inherent in the spiking neural network (SNN) provides an energy-saving solution for AER object recognition. However, SNN with spike timing dependent plasticity (STDP) learning rule has not achieved satisfying AER object recognition performance. This work proposes an SNN-based encoder-decoder model to improve the recognition performance of AER objects. An STDP-based locally connected spiking neural network (LC-SNN) is proposed as an encoder to extract rich spatiotemporal features from AER event flows more flexibly. After the encoder extracts and learns primary features, we propose a fully connected spiking neural network (FC-SNN) based on the reward-modulated spike-timing-dependent plasticity (R-STDP) learning rule as a decoder to learn higher-level features for classification. In addition, we improved the winner-take-all (WTA) mechanisms and R-STDP learning rule in the decoder based on the reward and punish decision, enabling the network to perform better. The experiments are performed on the N-MNIST, MNIST-DVS, and the DVS Gesture datasets, improving the accuracy of the best existing plasticity-based SNN by 0.19%, 0.27% and 1.35%, respectively. © 2016 IEEE.

Bound state in the continuum (BIC) is a dark mode with infinitely high quality factors(Q-factors), it has recently attracted considerable research attention in photonics. Here, we present a metasurface that can support two BICs, which consists of AlGaAs. By breaking the structural symmetry, the two BICs are transformed into quasi-bic modes because they are not protected by the symmetry. Furthermore, it is found that the two quasi-BICs resonate near the fundamental and the second harmonic respectively, which can be used to enhance efficiency of second harmonic generation. By exploiting the high Q characteristics of this structure at both frequencies, we can obtain a second harmonic generation efficiency of nearly 10-3 with 1GW/cm2of pump intensity. Our proposed metasurface will offer good prospects for nonlinear operation. © 2023 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

Semantic matching research is the cornerstone of research in the fields of natural language similarity measurement and sensor ontology matching (OM). In the existing Chinese semantic matching methods, there are some shortcomings, such as the single dimension of semantic expression, the insufficient expression of context semantic relations, and the insufficient interaction of semantic information between different sentences. This paper proposes a Chinese semantic matching algorithm based on RoBERTa-wwm-ext with Siamese interaction and fine-tuning representation (RSIFR). The RSIFR model initializes the model with RoBERTa-wwm-ext as a vector of text. Firstly, a Siamese structure with embedded soft alignment attention mechanism and BiLSTM is constructed to realize the information interaction between two sentences. Secondly, LSTM-BiLSTM network structure is constructed to enhance the expression of semantic logic before and after sentences. Then, build a training model with fine-tuning mechanism. Fine tune the text's eigenvector parameters through label supervision. Finally, the fusion vectors of the sentence pairs are inserted into the MLP network layer, resulting in semantic matching results. RSIFR model starts from a variety of dimensions, strengthens the expression ability of vectors to text semantic relations, deeply mines the semantic similarities and differences between different sentences, and generally improves the Chinese semantic matching performance. Experiments on the public dataset LCQMC show that our model outperforms existing Chinese semantic matching models. © 2023 Baohua Qiang et al.

Traditional signal recognition requires the design of multiple different deep neural networks to handle different signal recognition tasks, which not only fails to take into account the correlation among different subtasks, but also leads to large model size and higher computational complexity. In this work, we propose a multitask-learning-based multiband signal recognition network $(\text {M}^{2}\text {-Net})$ to simultaneously recognize the location of occupied frequency bands, modulation types, and signal types. The proposed $\text {M}^{2}\text {-Net}$ consists of two main parts: 1) shared feature extraction network (SFEN) and 2) multitask classification header (MCH). In SFEN, a plug-and-play multitask feature extraction convolution and an adaptive threshold denoising module are introduced to provide better shared feature extraction and denoising performance. In MCH, the shared features obtained from SFEN are further processed for different recognition tasks. Furthermore, during the multitask model training, homoscedastic uncertainty is introduced as a task-dependent weight to adaptively balance the training loss of different tasks. To evaluate the recognition performance of the proposed method, we construct a multiband signal dataset and compare $\text {M}^{2}\text {-Net}$ with several state-of-the-art models in signal recognition field. Experiment results show that the proposed $\text {M}^{2}\text {-Net}$ has significant performance improvements in terms of recognition accuracy and model complexity, especially under low signal-to-noise ratio conditions.
