Author name disambiguation has long been viewed as a challenging problem in scientific literature management, and with the substantial growth of the scientific literature, the solution to this problem has become increasingly difficult and urgency. In this paper, we conduct research on the author name disambiguation problem in large-scale academic papers. In our method, we combine the paper feature information and the relation information between the papers for disambiguation. Based on the Aminers disambiguation framework, we present a novel method to constructing the paper relation graph based on atomic cluster and propose an efficient post processing algorithm, aiming to improve the disambiguation performance by rule-based clustering, this algorithm utilizes similarity features based on metadata information and implement two types of disambiguation rules. We carefully evaluate the proposed disambiguation method on real-world large data and experimental result shows that our method achieves clearly better performance than the state-of-the-art methods. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

With the development of natural language processing technology, machine reading comprehension has been widely used in various fields such as QA systems and Intelligence engineering. However, despite numerous models are proposed in the general domain, there is still a lack of appropriate dataset and models for specific domains like anti-terrorism or homeland security to address this problem. Therefore, a Chinese reading comprehension data set in the field of anti-terrorism (ATCMRC) is constructed, and a generative machine reading comprehension model (AT-MT5) is proposed. ATCMRC was constructed in a semi-automated manner, and a domain-specific vocabulary is created based on the dataset to assist the AT-MT5. The model uses a hybrid attention layer is and a controlled answer generation layer to enhance text perception. Finally, the ATCMRC dataset and the AT-MT5 model is evaluated against existing approaches. The experimental results show that ATCMRC covers key issues in the domain and presents challenging MRC tasks for existent models, while AT-MT5 achieves better results in the domain specific dataset than the existing methods. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

knowledge Graph (KG) is a directed heterogeneous information network that contains a large number of entities and relations, which is widely used as effective side information in rec-ommender systems. Moreover, in recommender systems, the Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) model is introduced to mine the relatedness between entities in a KG because of its efficiency in extracting spatial features on topological graphs. The knowledge Graph Convolutional Network (KGCN) model up-dates the embedding of a currently positioned entity by aggregating the information of adjacent entities selected randomly. Never-theless, it has two limititations: 1) the information of neighbors se-lected randomly cannot accurately represent the current entity in the KG; 2) the model is hard to converge as graph features (i.e. The spatial relation features and semantic information features of en-tities in the KG) grow. To solve these limitations, in this paper, a meta-path (i.e., a sequence of artificially constructed relationships) is introduced into the selection of neighbors in the KGCN model to enhance the representation of each entity. Furthermore, two construction methods of the meta-path - constructing a meta-path based on the same relation (KGCN-SP) and the characteris-tics of KG (KGCN-MP) -are proposed. The experiments based on three real-world datasets demonstrate that the neighbor selection based on the meta-path is able to collect more accurate infor-mation from a KG and improve the recommendation performance effectively.

Road network restoration is an important issue in the post-disaster disposal and rescue,especially when extraordinarily serious natural disasters(e.g.,floods and earthquakes) *** to this endeavour is the problem of determining how to reasonably schedule and route the repair crew to quickly restore the damaged road network and establish reliable supply lines from supply nodes to demand ***,most existing work focuses on the activities of the single repair crew in the static road network,which is unable to adapt to the dynamic changes of the road network caused by secondary disasters,such as rock slides and debris ***,this work is concentrated on multicrew dynamic scheduling and routing in road network ***,a model of multicrew dynamic scheduling and routing is first ***,the Markov decision process is adopted to construct a decision model for repair crews,based on which a multiagent Q-learning algorithm is developed to find the best scheduling and routing ***,experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can make repair crews adjust their scheduling and routing strategies according to the dynamic changes of the damaged road network and provides a useful attempt to restore the damaged road network in complex,dynamic emergency scenarios of post-disaster.

Multimodal Sentiment Analysis (MSA) is an attractive research that aims to integrate sentiment expressed in textual, visual, and acoustic signals. There are two main problems in the existing methods: 1) the dominant role of the text is underutilization in unaligned multimodal data, and 2) the modality under uncertain missing feature is not sufficiently explored. This paper proposes a Text-guided Reconstruction Network (TgRN) for MSA with uncertain missing modalities in non-aligned sequences. The TgRN network includes three primary modules: Text-guided Extraction Module (TEM), Reconstruction Module (RM) and Text-guided Fusion Module (TFM). First, the TEM consists of the text-guided cross attention units and self-attention units to capture inter-modal features and intra-modal features, respectively. Second, leveraging enhanced attention units and a three-way squeeze-and-excitation block, the RM is designed to learn semantic information from incomplete data and reconstruct missing modality features. Third, the TFM utilizes a progressive modality-mixing adaptation gate to explore the dynamic correlations between nonverbal and verbal modalities, effectively addressing the modality gap issue. Finally, under the supervision of sentiment prediction loss and reconstruction loss, the TgRN effectively processes both uncertain missing-modality conditions and ideal complete modality conditions. Extensive experiments on CMU-MOSI and CH-SIMS demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches. © 2010-2012 IEEE.

Applying large language models (LLMs) to academic API usage shows promise in reducing researchers' efforts to seek academic information. However, current LLM methods for using APIs struggle with the complex API coupling commonly encountered in academic queries. To address this, we introduce SoAy, a solution-based LLM methodology for academic information seeking. SoAy enables LLMs to generate code for invoking APIs, guided by a pre-constructed API calling sequence referred to as a solution. This solution simplifies the model's understanding of complex API relationships, while the generated code enhances reasoning efficiency. LLMs are aligned with this solution-oriented, code-based reasoning method by automatically enumerating valid API coupling sequences and transforming them into queries and executable *** evaluate SoAy, we introduce SoAyBench, an evaluation benchmark accompanied by SoAyEval, built upon a cloned environment of APIs from AMiner. Experimental results demonstrate a 34.58-75.99% performance improvement compared to state-of-the-art LLM API-based baselines. knowledge graph alignment aims to link equivalent entities across different knowledge graphs. To utilize both the graph structures and the side information such as name, description and attributes, most of the works propagate the side information especially names through linked entities by graph neural networks. However, due to the heterogeneity of different knowledge graphs, the alignment accuracy will be suffered from aggregating different neighbors. This work presents an interaction model to only leverage the side information. Instead of aggregating neighbors, we compute the interactions between neighbors which can capture fine-grained matches of neighbors. Similarly, the interactions of attributes are also modeled. Experimental results show that our model significantly outperforms the best state-of-the-art methods by 1.9-9.7% in terms of HitRatio@1 on the dataset DBP15K. © 2020 Inst. Sci. inf., Univ. SHLE: Devices Tracking and Depth Filtering for Stereo-based Height Limit Estimation

Recently, over-height vehicle strike frequently occurs, causing great economic cost and serious safety problems. Hence, an alert system which can accurately discover any possible height limiting devices in advance is necessary to be employed in modern large or medium sized cars, such as touring cars. Detecting and estimating the height limiting devices act as the key point of a successful height limit alert system. Though there are some works research height limit estimation, existing methods are either too computational expensive or not accurate enough. In this paper, we propose a novel stereo-based pipeline named SHLE for height limit estimation. Our SHLE pipeline consists of two stages. In stage 1, a novel devices detection and tracking scheme is introduced, which accurately locate the height limit devices in the left or right image. Then, in stage 2, the depth is temporally measured, extracted and filtered to calculate the height limit device. To benchmark the height limit estimation task, we build a large-scale dataset named "Disparity Height", where stereo images, pre-computed disparities and ground-truth height limit annotations are provided. We conducted extensive experiments on "Disparity Height" and the results show that SHLE achieves an average error below than 10cm though the car is 70m away from the devices. Search and recommendation are the two most common approaches used by people to obtain information. They share the same goal - satisfying the user's information need at the right time. There are already a lot of Internet platforms and Apps providing both search and recommendation services, showing us the demand and opportunity to simultaneously handle both tasks. However, most platforms consider these two tasks independently - they tend to train separate search model and recommendation model, without exploiting the relatedness and dependency between them. In this paper, we argue that jointly modeling these two tasks will benefit both of them and finally improve overall user satisfaction. We investigate the interactions between these two tasks in the specific information content service domain. We propose first integrating the user's behaviors in search and recommendation into a heterogeneous behavior sequence, then utilizing a joint model for handling both tasks based on the unified sequence. More specifically, we design the Unified Information SEarch and Recommendation model (USER), which mines user interests from the integrated sequence and accomplish the two tasks in a unified way. Experiments on a dataset from a real-world information content service platform verify that our model outperforms separate search and recommendation baselines. Copyright © 2021, The Authors.
