Vehicle positioning is considered a key element in autonomous driving systems. While conventional positioning requires the use of GPS and/or beacon signals from network infrastructure for triangulation, they are sensitive to multipath and signal obstruction. However, recent proposals like the Channel-SLAM method showed it was possible in principle to in fact leverage multi-path to improve positioning of a single vehicle. In this paper, we derive a cooperative Channel-SLAM framework, which is referred as Team Channel-SLAM. Different from the previous work, Team Channel-SLAM not only exploits the stationary nature of reflecting objects around the receiver to characterize the location of a single vehicle through multi-path signals, but also capitalizes on the multi-vehicle aspects of road traffic to further improve positioning. Specifically, Team Channel-SLAM exploits the correlation between reflectors around multiple neighboring vehicles to achieve high precision multiple vehicle positioning. Our method uses affinity propagation clustering and cooperative particle filter. The new framework is shown to give substantial improvement over the single vehicle positioning situation. In order to adapt to different vehicle densities, a path connectivity probability based cross-layer routing handoff mechanism is proposed under software defined vehicle ad hoc networks (SDVN). In this mechanism, we employ the derived path connectivity probability model to predict the density degree of a path, which will be used to decide whether to use base stations (BSs) assisted routing or V2V cross-layer routing. Particularly, in the process of performing V2V cross-layer routing, we utilize the information such as connectivity probability, transmission rate, and load to further improve the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism. Simulation results show that our proposed routing algorithm achieves significant gains in terms of delivery ratio and average delay, compared with several existing routing protocols.

The popularity of IEEE 802. 11 based wireless local area network（ WLAN） increased significantly in recent years and resulted in the dense deployment of WLANs. While densification can contribute to increasing coverage,it could also lead to increasing interference and cannot insure high spatial reuse due to the current physical carrier sensing of IEEE 802. 11. To tackle these challenges,the dynamic sensitivity control（ DSC） is considered in IEEE802. 11 ax,which dynamically selects the appropriate carrier sensing threshold（ CST） to improve spectrum efficiency and enhance spatial reuse in densely deployed network. A dynamic Q-learning based CST selection method is proposed to enable a network to select the optimal CST according to the channel condition. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme provides 40% aggregate throughput gain of a dense network when compared with legacy IEEE 802. 11.

In this paper, a novel visible light communication (VLC) assisted Perspective-four-Line algorithm (V-P4L) is proposed for indoor localization. The basic idea of V-P4L is to joint the coordinate information obtained by VLC and the geometric information in computer vision for practical indoor localization. In particular, V-P4L first exploits the geometric information to estimate the orientation and coordinate of a single rectangular LED luminaire in the camera coordinate system based on the plane and solid geometry. Then, VLC is used to transmit the world coordinate information of the luminaire to the camera. Next, the position and pose of the camera in the world coordinate system are obtained by the single-view geometry and the linear least square method. Due to the combination of VLC and computer vision, V-P4L only requires a single luminaire for localization and does not rely on the channel model. Therefore, V-P4L is more robust to dust and other factors that interfere visible light signals. Besides, unlike conventional Perspective-n-Line (PnL) algorithms, V-P4L does not require the 3 dimensional (3D)-2 dimensional (2D) correspondences. Simulation results show that for V-P4L the location error is always less than 18 cm and the orientation error is always less than 4.5°.

Limited radio frequency (RF) resources restrict the number of users that can participate in federated learning (FL) thus affecting FL convergence speed and performance. In this paper, we first introduce visible light communication (VLC) as a supplement to RF in FL and build a hybrid VLC/RF communication system, in which each indoor user can use both VLC and RF to transmit its FL model parameters. Then, the problem of user selection and bandwidth allocation is studied for FL implemented over a hybrid VLC/RF system aiming to optimize the FL performance. The problem is first separated into two subproblems. The first subproblem is a user selection problem with a given bandwidth allocation, which is solved by a traversal algorithm. The second subproblem is a bandwidth allocation problem with a given user selection, which is solved by a numerical method. The final user selection and bandwidth allocation are obtained by iteratively solving these two subproblems. Simulation results show that the proposed FL algorithm that efficiently uses VLC and RF for FL model transmission can improve the prediction accuracy by up to 10% compared with a conventional FL system using only RF. Since the energy consumption has been increasing, the proportion of nuclear power, wind power and photovoltaic power generation has been on the rise. The study of energy Internet has been an active area of research. As an important part of the energy Internet, the intelligent energy management system has also received great attention. This paper make a study of minimizing the cost of electricity on the user side by utilizing the energy management algorithm in the energy Internet. In considering how to reduce users' cost, most studies focus on reducing the power consumption or reduce their electricity expenditures by responding to real-time prices, electricity can only be bought from the grid in these models, but users can sell excess electricity to the grid in the energy Internet model. This paper studies the problem of minimizing the total electricity cost while guaranteeing quality of service geared to the randomness of device access and time diversity of electricity price. We model the problem as a typical large-scale linear mixed-integer programming model and propose an efficient solution method. We show through simulation that the proposed algorithm can minimize the average charging payment of users and control the electricity trading volume. © 2019 IEEE.

A shortage of licensed spectrum is a major hindrance to the capacity of Long Term Evolution for Metro(LTE-M) to carry urban rail transit services at *** by LTE-Unlicensed(LTE-U) offloading some of data traffic transmitted in licensed spectrum by accessing the unlicensed 5 GHz frequency band, we propose a queue-sensing-based Carrier Sensing Adaptive Transmission(CSAT) scheme for LTE-M in unlicensed spectrum based on *** scheme calculates the minimum amount of data that should be transmitted during current transmission duration by queue length at the beginning of each LTE-U cycle, according to which, LTE-U adjusts its duty cycle to meet the requirement of LTE-M *** paper focuses on the downlink transmission scheme for LTE-M in unlicensed spectrum, and verifies its performance by simulation, which tells that Queue-sensing-based CSAT will not only provide a reliable transmission for LTE-M services, but also maximize the fairness of channel occupancy in unlicensed spectrum.

Virtualization can provide significant benefits for service user by cutting the cost as well as enabling easy access. However, because the MAC table capacity of each host is limited, the traditional layer 2 networks have been unable to meet the needs of the numbers of virtual machines in the center. VXLAN has become an important layer 2 over layer 3 network transmission tunneling technology, a good solution to the data center internal virtual machine isolation and cross-data center transmission problems, but VXLAN does not propose a complete solution for virtual machine migration in the data center. Therefore, we design and implement the network model based on SDN, which optimizes the current VXLAN technology. This model separates the network plane from migration control plane, which can simplify the process of VXLAN and the complex network in data center. Moreover, we propose a detailed process for virtual machine migration supported by OpenFlow protocol. Some design in our model can really reduce the complexity of VXLAN technology and make it convenient for the users of virtual machine. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.
