The solution of the collision-propagation equation plays an important role in the thermal-fluid multi-physics coupling simulation. Through the collision-propagation operation of different physical quantities, LBM can integrate physical fields such as fluid and thermal into the same framework to achieve coupling solution. In this paper, the collision-propagation equation is realized through LBM, and the simulation process is further componentized to improve the efficiency and reusability of the simulation. The specific component library includes: the main control module, geometric modeling of simulation field, simulation parameter setting, simulation computing, and visualization component. In LBM, since the particle motion on each lattice is independent, the componentized approach makes it easier to assign simulation tasks to multiple processors or compute nodes, thereby increasing computational efficiency. © 2025 IEEE.

Many nonlinear differential equations arising from practical problems may permit nontrivial multiple solutions relevant to applications, and these multiple solutions are helpful to deeply understand these practical problems and to improve some applications. Developing an efficient numerical method for finding multiple solutions is very necessary due to the nonlinearity and multiple solutions of these equations. Moreover, providing an efficient iteration plays an important role in successfully obtaining multiple solutions with fast and stable convergence. In the current paper, an efficient algorithm for finding multiple solutions of semilinear elliptic systems is proposed, where the trust region Levenberg-Marquardt method is firstly used to iterate the resulted nonlinear algebraic system. When the nonlinear term in these equations has only the first derivative, our algorithm can efficiently find multiple solutions as well. A geometric intrinsic pre-processing algorithm(GPA for short)for solving largescale discrete mathematical-physical PDE in 2-D and 3-D case has been presented by Sun(in 2022–2023).Different from traditional preconditioning,the authors apply the intrinsic geometric invariance,the Grid matrix G and the discrete PDE mass matrix B,stiff matrix A satisfies commutative operator BG=GB and AG=GA,where G satisfies G^(m)=I,m<parallelism of geometric mesh pre-transformation is mainly proportional to the number of faces of polyhedron”is obtained through research,and it is further found that“commutative of grid mesh matrix and mass matrix is an important basis for the feasibility and reliability of GPA algorithm”.

Based on the business system users of manufacturing enterprises, building a value net platform including multi-enterprise and social service resources needs to integrate the user information and explore more value-added services. This paper proposed a method of user information fusion for manufacturing service value net. First, based on the request of the multi-party value net fusion, we researched the user information representation method and designed the data structure. And then, considering the protection of sensitive fields, the study of privacy fields protection methods based on homomorphic encryption methods should be carried out to ensure the utility of data. The last step was researching the multi-platform user information transmission based on the RESTful interface specification. The value net case system shows that the user information fusion method is realizable and can ensure the system users’ security. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

To promote the efficiency of fault diagnosis and improve user experience, we proposed an aided vehicle fault diagnosis method based on user’s fault description. According to the description of faults phenomenon, we combined both natural language processing technologies and vehicle structure knowledge to diagnose to locate the fault. First, we collected descriptions of failure from users and made a standardized processing of vehicle fault to build the vehicle fault database and summarized a vehicle proper noun dictionary. Second, according to the design of vehicle, we create a vehicle structure tree and combined both distribution statistics and topic semantic which to build a semantic vector model of vehicle fault description. Finally, we use cosine distance to evaluate the semantic similarity of fault description, based on the result, we can conclude the reason of fault and location. The experiment shows that the precision of fault diagnosis has reached 86.7% and the precision of fault locating has also reached 81.8%. The vehicle diagnosis method will help providers of vehicle maintenance to build a self-service fault inquiry system based on the database from internet. It can collect user’s maintenance requirements ahead, optimizing the service progress and improving the service efficiency. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Face detect application has a real time need in nature. Although Viola-Jones algorithm can handle it elegantly, today＇s bigger and bigger high quality images and videos still bring in the new challenge of real time needs. It is a good idea to parallel the Viola-Jones algorithm with OpenCL to achieve high performance across both AMD and NVidia GPU platforms without bringing up new algorithms. This paper presents the bottleneck of this application and discusses how to optimize the face detection step by step from a very naive implementation. Some brilliant tricks and methods like CPU execution time hidden, stubbles usage of local memory as high speed scratchpad and manual cache, and variable granularity were used to improve the performance. Those technologies result in 4-13 times speedup varying with the image size. Furthermore those ideas may throw on some light on the way to parallel applications efficiently with OpenCL. Taking face detection as an example, this paper also summarizes some universal advice on how to optimize OpenCL program, trying to help other applications do better on GPU.

VASP (Vienna Ab initio Simulation Package) is a prevalent first-principle software framework. It is so widely used that its runtime usually dominates the usage of current supercomputers. The porting and optimization of VASP to the Sunway TaihuLight supercomputer, a newly heterogeneous many-core platform based on SW26010 CPU, becomes of great importance. In this paper, we focus on the challenges in porting and optimizing VASP on the SW26010 CPU. Optimizations on three types of time-consuming kernels, which include matrix operations, FFT, and certain domain-specific computing primitives, are carried out base on thorough performance profiling. The experimental results are shown by the case of RELAX, where speedup of 2.90x and 4.48x is sustained respectively for both of the iterative diagonalization methods in VASP, RMM-DIIS (RMM) and block Davidson (DAV). © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2018.

The numerical solution of the differential-algebraic equations(DAEs) involved in time domain simulation(TDS) of power systems requires the solution of a sequence of large scale and sparse linear *** use of iterative methods such as the Krylov subspace method is imperative for the solution of these large and sparse linear *** motivation of the present work is to develop a new algorithm to efficiently precondition the whole sequence of linear systems involved in *** an improvement of dishonest preconditioner(DP) strategy,updating preconditioner strategy(UP) is introduced to the field of TDS for the first *** idea of updating preconditioner strategy is based on the fact that the matrices in sequence of the linearized systems are continuous and there is only a slight difference between two consecutive *** order to make the linear system sequence in TDS suitable for UP strategy,a matrix transformation is applied to form a new linear sequence with a good shape for preconditioner *** algorithm proposed in this paper has been tested with 4 cases from real-life power systems in *** show that the proposed UP algorithm efficiently preconditions the sequence of linear systems and reduces 9%-61% the iteration count of the GMRES when compared with the DP method in all test *** experiments also show the effectiveness of UP when combined with simple preconditioner reconstruction strategies.

It is a vital service process for equipment maintenance to ensure regular operation. The equipment transitions from inside of the warranty period to outside of the warranty period and the staff involved in the maintenance service will transform from manufacturer personnel to a mixed team of user teams and third-party companies. The permissions will change with their responsibilities in the equipment maintenance service system. In this paper, we take the maintenance service system of shield tunneling machine equipment as a case, which design the personnel structure of the mixed maintenance team and establish an authorization mechanism to support the multi-team work process of equipment maintenance. We design a user group-based hierarchical control strategy that combines the equipment maintenance service system’s resource structure. At the end of this paper, though the simulation-based on Colored Petri Net CPN Tools, we verify the correctness and effectiveness of the permission dispatching mechanism. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
