In the paper measurements of streaming electrification current in the range of low velocities are presented. The measurements were conducted in spinning disk system that uses wireless rotating electrometer. Using this system it is possible to measure electrification current in the range of several picoamperes. In proposed configuration the electrometer is installed in measurement object on the disk axle. The digital output is transferred using Bluetooth radio-frequency transceiver. This solution minimizes external disturbances and allows for measurement with standard uncertainty at the level of 30 fA depending on averaging time. The uncertainty slightly depends on spinning velocity. Several dependencies of averaged electrification current on rotational speed were shown. A fresh and C 60 fullerene doped transformer oil were used as an electrification source. It was observed that the electrification current can change its sign for different C 60 concentrations. Doping mineral oil leads to charge reversal in the electric double layer. The system presented in paper extends the range of possible research in the field of electrification on low velocities and can be useful in development of streaming electrification phenomena.

The paper deals with a general form of a mathematical model of a three-phase electric circuit characteristics. A form of the model with using dimensionless variables is discussed. In general form of the linear AC circuit, the steady-state circuit characteristics are nonlinear functions of circuit elements and signals parameters. The linearized model of the asymmetrical circuit with linear loads is derived in matrix-vector notation. The model consists of sensivity function of the circuit-phase currents versus load voltages, supply voltages, phase inductances and supply voltages frequency described analytically in form of matrices or vector. As reference the symmetric (balanced) three-phase circuit was used. An example of application of this model to the determination of the inductances of the circuit is given.

Based on the clonal selection principle and idiotypic immune network theory of biological immune system, a dynamic clonal adjustment strategy (DCAS) is proposed. The strategy with the target of global optimization introduces the dynamic adjustment idea of antibody promotion and suppression and automatic adjustment of the search area and clonal scale based on the clonal selection algorithm. With the use of the adaptive multi-scale mutation operation, DCAS holds a better diversity of population, harmonizes global and local optimization searching, improves the global convergence speed, and can effectively avoid prematurity. The contrasting simulation of multi-modal function optimization experiments between DCAS and other algorithms were performed. The experiment results verify that the above theory is right and it can be used in the distillation process resource allocation optimization with good results.

A hierarchical Nonlinear Model Predictive control (NMPC) scheme with guaranteed Input-to-State-practical-Stability (ISpS) is proposed. The controller is formed by an Integral Sliding Mode (ISM) controller and a NMPC one. The ISM, relying on the knowledge of the nominal continuous-time model of the system and of the piecewise constant control signal generated by the NMPC produces a control action aimed at reducing the difference between the dynamics of the nominal closed-loop system and the actual evolution of the state. The NMPC in this way can be designed based on a system with reduced uncertainty. In order to prove the stability of the overall control scheme, some general Regional ISpS results for continuous-time systems are proven.

A new approach to the cross-layer design of wireless networked control systems under limited computing and energy resources is presented. The idea is to provide a methodology that jointly takes the aspects of control e.g. control algorithms, Communication e.g. communication protocols, and Computation e.g. energy consumption into consideration. The design objective is the predictability and optimization of the control performance for a given control application. The control performance is a complex function of network parameters e.g. delay, packet loss, network throughput and control system parameters e.g. sampling period, control algorithm. control performance predictability and optimization can only be achieved by imposing requirements on the wireless network design. A cross-layer design methodology is shown to be very useful for this purpose. To illustrate the methodology, an inverted pendulum system with low-energy wireless network is used for the cross-layer design of control algorithms and communication protocols under computing and energy constraints.
