Generating Adversarial Patterns in Facial Recognition with Visual Camouflage

Deep neural networks, especially face recognition models, have been shown to be vulnerable to adversarial examples. However, existing attack methods for face recognition systems either cannot attack black-box models, are not universal, have cumbersome deployment processes, or lack camouflage and are easily detected by the human eye. In this paper, we propose an adversarial pattern generation method for face recognition and achieve universal black-box attacks by pasting the pattern on the frame of goggles. To achieve visual camouflage, we use a generative adversarial network (GAN). The scale of the generative network of GAN is increased to balance the performance conflict between concealment and adversarial behavior, the perceptual loss function based on VGG19 is used to constrain the color style and enhance GAN’s learning ability, and the fine-grained meta-learning adversarial attack strategy is used to carry out black-box attacks. Sufficient visualization results demonstrate that compared with existing methods, the proposed method can generate samples with camouflage and adversarial characteristics. Meanwhile, extensive quantitative experiments show that the generated samples have a high attack success rate against black-box models. © 2023, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Since 3D mesh security has become intellectual property,3D watermarking algorithms have continued to appear to secure 3D meshes shared by remote users and saved in distant multimedia *** novelty of our approach is that it uses a new Clifford-multiwavelet transform to insert copyright data in a multiresolution domain,allowing us to greatly expand the size of the *** that,our method does two rounds of insertion,each applying a different type of Clifford-wavelet *** being placed into the Clifford-multiwavelet coefficients,the watermark,which is a mixture of the mesh description,source mesh signature(produced using SHA512),and a logo encrypted using the RSA(Ronald Shamir Adleman)technique,is encoded using *** the Least Significant Bit method steps,data embedding involves modulation and insertion ***,the watermarked mesh is reconstructed using the inverse Cliffordmultiwavelet *** to the utilization of a hybrid insertion domain,our technique has demonstrated a very high insertion rate while retaining mesh *** mesh is watermarked,and the extracted data is acquired in *** approach is also resistant to the most common types of *** findings reveal that the current approach improves on previous efforts.

This document aims to solve the parametric estimation problem of nonlinear time-varying systems modeled by Wiener-Hammerstein models (W-H) with unknown time-varying parameters. A recursive instrumental variable estimation method is developed in order to estimate the parameters of the considered blocks-oriented models despite the existence of a correlated noise with observations. The estimation method is based on the least square technique. Furthermore, an example is devoted to appear and justify the availability of the detailed and proposed method.

Dataflow architecture has native advantage in achieving high instruction parallelism and power efficiency for today's emerging applications such as high performance computing and machining learning. In dataflow computing, the execution of instructions is driven by data, so the data transfer efficiency of the network on chip (NoC) is a key factor affecting performance. However, the NoC performance is degraded due to the increasing use of multicast communications in many applications. The existing dataflow architecture instruction scheduling algorithm does not optimize multicast communication between the instruction and its successor instructions, so the routing paths of many multicast packets have forks which cause bandwidth waste and potential network congestion. We propose a sharing path awareness (SPA) algorithm to optimize multicast communication in the dataflow architecture. The algorithm shares the routing paths from the instruction to its child node to reduce the NoC bandwidth waste through the instruction scheduler. Compared with the best prior algorithm, SPA algorithm achieves 15.98% average transfer delay reduction and 21.22% average performance improvement for our experimental workloads. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper considers the design of linear time-varying networks and of nonlinear time-invariant networks, the latter being operated in the small-signal mode. In the first part, the design example considered is a network whose time delay is a prescribed function of time. A quadratic performance criterion 'is formulated and the design is obtained iteratively by steepest descent. The second part of the paper considers the design of a nonlinear timeinvariant network with variable bias sources whose small-signal equivalent network is identical with a given linear time-varying network. Explicit conditions are given under which this can be done.

The high parallelism feature of scientific applications makes SIMD very suitable for streaming dataflow architectures. However, the splitting of SIMD memory requests increases the messages in on-chip networks and decreases the efficiency of streaming dataflow architectures. To process SIMD memory requests without splitting, a memory partition mechanism is proposed for SIMD in streaming dataflow architectures. The mechanism partitions input data of scientific applications into N (SIMD width) independent sub-spaces equally and groups operations on different data with same locations in N sub-spaces into SIMD operation. Moreover, the mechanism merges data with the same location in different sub-spaces to SIMD data and stores SIMD data in same SPMs to process SIMD memory requests as a whole. Simulation experimental results show that the proposed mechanism improves the performance per watt of streaming dataflow architectures by 2.5× on average on typical scientific applications. © 2016 IEEE.
