With the expanding use of modular multilevel converters in power installations it became more important to lower the total conducted emissions. One of the most important key factors in controlling electromagnetic interference emissions is the type of submodules used and the utilized switches. This paper compares three well-known submodules which are half bridge, full bridge and double-clamped half bridge effect on the electromagnetic interference emissions. For making the model more accurate the parasitic components were included in all the circuits Additionally, the same configurations are carried out and compared under two switches which are insulated gate bipolar transistors and metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors operating at two different switching frequencies. The results were obtained by a simulation in a Matlab/Simulink environment.

Safety-critical scenarios are infrequent in natural driving environments but hold significant importance for the training and testing of autonomous driving systems. The prevailing approach involves generating safety-critical scenarios automatically in simulation by introducing adversarial adjustments to natural environments. These adjustments are often tailored to specific tested systems, thereby disregarding their transferability across different systems. In this paper, we propose AdvDiffuser, an adversarial framework for generating safety-critical driving scenarios through guided diffusion. By incorporating a diffusion model to capture plausible collective behaviors of background vehicles and a lightweight guide model to effectively handle adversarial scenarios, AdvDiffuser facilitates transferability. Experimental results on the nuScenes dataset demonstrate that AdvDiffuser, trained on offline driving logs, can be applied to various tested systems with minimal warm-up episode data and outperform other existing methods in terms of realism, diversity, and adversarial performance.

The efficacy of photovoltaic systems is significantly impacted by electrical production losses attributed to faults. Ensuring the rapid and cost-effective restoration of system efficiency necessitates robust fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) procedures. This study introduces a novel interval-gated recurrent unit (I-GRU) based Bayesian optimization framework for FDD in grid-connected photovoltaic (GCPV) systems. The utilization of an interval-valued representation is proposed to address uncertainties inherent in the systems, the GRU is employed for fault classification, while the Bayesian algorithm optimizes its hyperparameters. Addressing uncertainties through the proposed approach enhances monitoring capabilities, mitigating computational and storage costs associated with sensor uncertainties. The effectiveness of the proposed approach for FDD in GCPV systems is demonstrated using experimental application.

Recently, offshore wind power has rapidly developed due to its low environmental interference and abundant wind resources. However, due to its remote geographical location and high demand for communication infrastructure, off-shore wind turbines (OWTs) are vulnerable to potential threats from false data injection (FDI) attack. FDI attack can interfere with active power control strategies by tampering with the rotor speed data measured by sensors and pose a threat to the stability of the power grid. To ensure that OWTs can accurately track the active power instructions set by wind farm's control center under FDI attack, this paper proposes a rotor speed control (RSC) strategy based on Kalman filtering technology (RSC- KF). This strategy can estimate the rotor speed of the wind turbine in real-time, and then a residual detection and compensation mechanism is designed to effectively detect and correct attacked rotor speed information caused by FDI attack. Further, based on the corrected rotor speed, the RSC method is developed, which can flexibly switch control strategies according to different rotor speed values, ensuring the efficient operation of OWTs under different wind speed conditions. The proposed approach's effectiveness is proved via simulations conducted on the OpenFAST platform.
