Welding residual stress has a significant influence on the initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks in welded structures. It is important to determine the distribution of residual stress in welding parts when the fatigue life is evaluated. The specimen of aluminum butt welding seam was taken from the car body of high speed train, and surface residual stress was measured by using X-ray diffraction method. The results show that there are obvious differences in the uniformity and diffraction peak intensity of the Debye ring of different parts of specimen. Along the line perpendicular to the weld, the distributions of residual stress appear bimodal shape. The peak values appear in the weld near to base metal and the valley value appears in the center of the weld. The maximum value of longitudinal residual stress is far higher than that of the transverse residual stress. The welding boundary has few effect on the residual stress by measuring the residual stress at different distances from the welding free boundary.

Hydrogen has been identified as one of the most promising sustainable and clean energy. Developing hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) catalyst with high activity is essential for satisfying the future requirements. Considering novel advantages of two-dimensional materials and high catalytic activity of atomic transition metal, in this study, using density functional theory calculation, the HER on single transitionmetal(23 different TM atoms) doped phosphorus carbide monolayer(α-PC) has been investigated. The Volmer–Tafel and Volmer–Heyrovsky reaction mechanisms, and the stability of the most promising HER catalyst are also included. The results show that Ir-αPC with high physical and thermal stability has the most optimal value of Gibbs free adsorption energy for H atom. The relationship of d band center and the HER activity shows a volcano-like curve. The calculation of reaction energy barrier indicates that the Volmer-Heyrovsky step is more favorable than the Volmer-Tafel step.

In this paper, the lattice piecewise affine (PWA) approximation of explicit linear model predictive control (MPC) is proposed. The training data consists of the state samples and corresponding affine control laws, based on which the lattice PWA approximation is constructed. The proposed approximation is identical to the explicit MPC control law in unique-order (UO) regions containing the sample points as interior points, thus resemble the explicit MPC control law in a large number of regions. Through simplifying the terms and literals in the lattice PWA approximation, both the storage requirement and online computation complexity are largely decreased. The performance of the proposed approximation strategy is tested through a simulation example, and the result shows that with a moderate number of sample points, the lattice PWA approximation is very close to the explicit MPC control law.

In this paper, we propose a precise LiDAR SLAM in optimization framework using plane-like object as landmark. Compared to general methods, finite plane feature is used to represent landmark and a new residual model is designed, making constraint from edge of landmark can be used to limit the parallel position between LiDAR and landmark, leading to a more accurate result. Moreover, floor plan is used to provide global pose for reduction of drift, and additionally feature orientation prior is used to prevent map distortion when updating the inaccurate part of floor plan. Experiments are conducted using data collected in real environment. The result qualitatively shows that proposed method can build a corrected map from floor plan without distortion, and quantitatively verifies that proposed method can outperform other baseline methods in accuracy.
