Recent advances have witnessed the success and popularity of cloud computing, which represents a new business model and computing paradigm. The feature of on-demand provisioning of computational, storage, and bandwidth resources has driven modern businesses into cloud services. The cloud is considered cutting edge technology and it is solely relied on by many large technology, business, and media companies such as Netflix or ***. However, in addition to the benefit at hand, security issues have been a long-term concern for cloud computing and are the main barriers of the widespread use of cloud computing. In this paper, we briefly describe some basic security concerns that are of particular interest to cloud technology. We investigate some of the basic cloud concepts and discuss cloud security issues. Amazon Web Services is used as a case study for discussing common cloud terminology. Data security, as well as some cloud specific attacks is introduced. The current state and the future progression of cloud computing is discussed.

This paper describes a novel experimental setup exploiting state-of-the - art capture equipment to collect a multimodally rich game-solving collaborative multiparty dialogue corpus. The corpus is targeted and designed towards the development of a dialogue system platform to explore verbal and nonverbal tutoring strategies in multiparty spoken interactions. The dialogue task is centered on two participants involved in a dialogue aiming to solve a card-ordering game. The participants were paired into teams based on their degree of extraversion as resulted from a personality test. With the participants sits a tutor that helps them perform the task, organizes and balances their interaction and whose behavior was assessed by the participants after each interaction. Different multimodal signals captured and auto-synchronized by different audio-visual capture technologies, together with manual annotations of the tutor's behavior constitute the Tutorbot corpus. This corpus is exploited to build a situated model of the interaction based on the participants' temporally-changing state of attention, their conversational engagement and verbal dominance, and their correlation with the verbal and visual feedback and conversation regulatory actions generated by the tutor.

This paper is concerned with the problem of tracking target with multiple sensors in the presence of unknown dynamic bias. A suboptimal adaptive two-stage Kalman filter(ATKF) is designed with two reduce-order filters to estimate the target state and the dynamic bias in parallel when the bias model information is incomplete. Moreover, a distributed adaptive two-stage Kalman filter(DATKF) is developed for multi-sensor system based on the ATKF. The effectiveness of the ATKF and the DATKF are illustrated by the Monte Carlo simulation results.

Organizations establish process models for different purposes and goals. However, they have in common issues concerning quality assurance and successful project management. Process models can be applied on different levels in process engineering, depending on whether processes are to be executed, defined or improved. Various individual methods and tools have been developed to help process engineers and members who are engineering and performing processes. These methods however do not support continuous integration into a process engineering lifecycle that consists of creating, defining, executing and improving processes. Therefore, we propose a holistic view of artifacts and activities in the process engineering lifecycle in an effort to create a consensus on what constitutes a process engineering lifecycle and take a look at recent research results covering the issues mentioned. We have identified approaches on process descriptions, on meta-models and on support in executing processes in the last years.
