Policy-based approach to detect and resolve policy conflict for static and dynamic architecture

Current research efforts are being directed to commit with the long-term view of self-management properties for wireless telecommunications. One of the key approaches that have been recognized as an enabler of such a view is policy-based management. Policy-based management has been mostly acknowledged as a methodology that provides flexibility, scalability, adaptability and support to automatically assign network resources, control Quality of Service and security, by considering administratively specified rules. The hype of policy-based management was to commit with these features in run-time as a result of changeable network conditions resulting from the interactions of users, applications and existing resources. To detect and resolve potential static and dynamic conflicts between the rules and configurations from different administrative domains, a policy-based manager coordination PobMC framework which is based on Event- Condition-Action (ECA) is proposed in this paper. The framework is responsible of potential conflicts between applications included in the system. Furthermore, the paper provides a guideline to avoid policy conflicts between different domains configurations, and resolve the conflicts during runtime. PobMC depends on, static and dynamic analysis to reduce potential conflicts. The paper briefly outlines some of the most prominent research issues that have been discussed for large-scale adoption of policy-based systems. Then we present a description of the conflict detection and resolution algorithms that achieves the automated enforcement of obligations for resource-handling based on management policies. © 2005 - 2012 JATIT & LLS. Requirements traceability is becoming increasingly significant element in software engineering. It provides critical function in the development and maintenance of a software system. From the software evolution point of view, requirements traceability plays an important role in facilitating software evolution. Since the evolution is inevitable, a traceability approach must take as much as possible the important influencing aspects into account to the evolution processes in order to minimize the evolution efforts. This paper evaluates several recent traceability approaches published in literature with the focus on their contributions to software evolution. The evaluation results may be used as a basis for improving requirements traceability approaches that may simplify the software evolution tasks. © 2007 IEEE.

We consider totally unimodularity for edge-edge adjacency matrices which represent a relationship between two edges in a graph. The matrices appear in integer programming formulations for the minimum maximal matching problem and the edge dominating set problem. We consider a problem of characterizing graphs having totally unimodular matrices as their edge-edge adjacency matrices, and give a necessary and sufficient condition for the characterization. The condition is the first characterization for edge-edge adjacency matrices. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.

An architecture design of the intelligent agent for speech recognition and translation is presented in this paper. The design involves the agent architecture and the method of the agent is used. The architecture design will show the relationship between the intelligent agent and speech recognition also translation. The intelligent agent for speech recognition is called S - AGENT and T- AGENT for translation. The purpose of the S - AGENT is to facilitate for transmitting the speech data via internet or network. The S - AGENT is acting as a data transmit control to ensure the transmitted speech data will secure delivered The task of the T - AGENT is different from the S - AGENT. The T - AGENT is acting as information retrieval. It will process the output from the speech recognition and translates the output based on its information memory database. If the information cannot be found on its memory, it will search the information required from the database dictionary provided. At the same time, it learns the information and saves the information to its memory for the future purposed © 2004IEEE.

Conventional cryptography uses encryption key, which are long bit strings and are very hard to memorize such a long random numbers. Also it can be easily attacked by using the brute force search or technique. Instead of traditional cryptography, biometric e.g. fingerprint, iris, face, voice etc uniquely identifies a person and a secure method for stream cipher, because Biometric characteristics are ever living and unstable in nature (with respect to recognition). In this paper we used the idea of biochaotic stream cipher which encrypts the images over the electronic media by using a biometric key and a bio-chaotic function. It enhances the security of the images and it should not be compromised. The idea also gives birth to a new kind of stream cipher named bio-chaotic stream cipher. The paper also describes how to generate a key from a biometric string and how to encrypt and decrypt the desired data by using the bio-chaotic function. © 2009 IEEE.

Internet banking is nowadays an important platform for taking care of financial matters. Researchers have introduced the acceptance of internet banking, which allows users to fulfil their obligations without visiting a counter. Nevertheless, the lack of sustainability of internet banking acceptance can systematically present the current research. The proposed study proposes a systematic literature review on internet banking acceptance to overcome this limitation. This systematic literature review (SLR) will help practitioners to draw on the existing literature and propose new solutions based on the existing internet banking adoption. The results of this paper can help future researchers from industry and academia by providing a guide for practitioners to identify approaches to successfully implement internet banking acceptance. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to its significance in the creation of software projects, the Agile-Scrum methodology has only lately become well-known in the field of software development. The Scrum technique, which is a process that gradually, iteratively, and continuously provides software based on time boxes, is another study that supports agile practitioners' recent shift towards this method (sprints). It consists of user stories that are delivered during sprints by a Scrum team made up of team members, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner. User stories are kept in product backlogs. The integrated needs prioritization methodologies have been created by a small number of scholars. However, the majority of the research is on non-agile software development. The prioritization of both functional and nonfunctional user stories simultaneously during Agile-Scrum software Development (ASSD) is one of the main gaps that has been ignored by all of these methodologies, according to the literature review conducted by the researchers. The purpose of this study is to outline a research plan for creating an integrated user story prioritizing approach that combines non-functional and functional user stories of the ASSD (i-USPA). The preliminary findings demonstrate the critical importance of understanding the significance of non-functional user stories or requirements during the early stages of software development using the agile methodology, particularly in ASSD, in order to produce high-quality software while staying within budget and time constraints. The data was acquired from a small group of experts or software practitioners who use Agile, particularly the Scrum technique, in their organizations. © 2022 IEEE.

Background:Diabetes and hypertension are two of the commonest diseases in the *** they unfavorably affect people of different age groups,they have become a cause of concern and must be predicted and diagnosed well in ***:This research aims to determine the effectiveness of artificial neural networks(ANNs)in predicting diabetes and blood pressure diseases and to point out the factors which have a high impact on these ***:This work used two online datasets which consist of data collected from 768 *** applied neural network algorithms to predict if the individuals have those two diseases based on some *** prediction is based on five factors:age,weight,fat-ratio,glucose,and insulin,while blood pressure prediction is based on six factors:age,weight,fat-ratio,blood pressure,alcohol,and ***:A model based on the Multi-Layer Perceptron Neural Network(MLP)was *** inputs of the network were the factors for each disease,while the output was the prediction of the disease’s *** model performance was compared with other classifiers such as Support Vector Machine(SVM)and K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN).We used performance metrics measures to assess the accuracy and performance of ***,a tool was implemented to help diagnose the diseases and to understand the ***:The model predicted the two diseases with correct classification rate(CCR)of 77.6%for diabetes and 68.7%for *** results indicate that MLP correctly predicts the probability of being diseased or not,and the performance can be significantly increased compared with both SVM and *** shows MLPs effectiveness in early disease prediction.

XYZ University has an Alpha Application used during the registration process for student courses each semester. There must be a hazard in the installation of this information system that could impede the process or functionality of the system;therefore, risk analysis is necessary to avoid troubles. By implementing ISO 31000 at XYZ University, it is believed that the risks associated with implementing Alpha can be reduced. This study uses Fishbone Analysis to identify the possible causes of an issue and then separates the root causes. It can also identify potential solutions to this problem (could be more than one problem). According to ISO 31000, risk analysis results are presented as documentation of potential hazards around the Alpha application, with risks grouped based on their impact. The results of this research will be included in the risk evaluation matrix per ISO 31000 recommendations. The evaluation matrix is divided into low, medium, and high-risk categories. So that universities can take advantage of the findings of this risk analysis to prevent and reduce risks and treat them based on the potential impact or risk priority in the Alpha application. Strengthening internal security systems, password policies, encryption, two-factor authentication, and educating students are some ways to mitigate these risks. © 2023 ACM.

Depression is a crippling affliction and affects millions of individuals around the *** general,the physicians screen patients for mental health disorders on a regular basis and treat patients in collaboration with psychologists and other mental health experts,which results in lower costs and improved patient ***,this strategy can necessitate a lot of buy-in from a large number of people,as well as additional training and logistical ***,utilizing the machine learning algorithms,patients with depression based on information generally present in a medical file were analyzed and *** methodology of this proposed study is divided into six parts:Proposed Research Architecture(PRA),Data Pre-processing Approach(DPA),Research Hypothesis Testing(RHT),Concentrated Algorithm Pipeline(CAP),Loss Optimization Stratagem(LOS),and Model Deployment Architecture(MDA).The Null Hypothesis and Alternative Hypothesis are applied to test the *** addition,Ensemble Learning Approach(ELA)and Frequent Model Retraining(FMR)have been utilized for optimizing the loss ***,the Features Importance Interpretation is also delineated in this *** forecasts could help individuals connect with expert mental health specialists more quickly and *** to the findings,71%of people with depression and 80%of those who do not have depression can be appropriately *** study obtained 91%and 92%accuracy through the Random Forest(RF)and Extra Tree *** after applying the Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve,79%accuracy was found on top of RF,81%found on Extra Tree,and 82%recorded for the eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)***,several factors are identified in terms of predicting depression through statistical data *** the additional effort is needed to develop a more accurate model,this model can be adjustable in the healthcare sector for diagnosing depression.
