This paper reflects on the issue of assisting maternity in Bangladesh. We developed a compact solution that can help people as well as educate people on maternity issues-particularly in Bangladesh. The goal of this paper is to assess the applicability and usability for spreading the importance of maternity awareness as well as assisting pregnant women during emergencies. Our system integrated NLP (natural language processing) and machine learning algorithm for our system's Chabot (used in Women Helper module). This paper contains eight modules, such as Medicine Component, Doctor Consultation, Place Component, Food Indicator Tools, FAQ, SOS, BMI, and Women Helper. After completing a field survey with a sample size of 30, our proposed solution achieved a system usability score (SUS) 64.36 percent. We also compared our system with other existing solutions. Lastly, we also predicted the health status of our respondents by calculating their BMI scale. © 2019 IEEE.

Energy Efficient Relay Positioning and Power Allocation for One-Way N-Relay Channel

Two end-users which have symmetric traffic requirements in terms of data rate are considered. They exchange information in Rayleigh flat-fading channels and multiple serial half-duplex relay nodes are employed to extend the communication coverage and assist the bidirectional communication between them using the analog network coding( ANC) protocol. With the objective of minimizing the sum transmit energy at the required data rate c,the optimal relay positioning and power allocation problem is firstly investigated and then the sub-optimal solutions for a two-relay channel are proposed,due to no close-form optimal solution. Furthermore,a sub-optimal scheme of relay positioning and power allocation,called equal-distance equal-transmit-power( EDEP) for an arbitrary Nrelay channel,N > 1 is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate a consistence with our proposed scheme.

Discovering optimal features using static analysis and a genetic search based method for Android malware detection

Mobile device manufacturers are rapidly producing miscellaneous Android versions worldwide. Simultaneously, cyber criminals are executing malicious actions, such as tracking user activities, stealing personal data, and committing bank fraud. These criminals gain numerous benefits as too many people use Android for their daily routines, including important communications. With this in mind, security practitioners have conducted static and dynamic analyses to identify malware. This study used static analysis because of its overall code coverage, low resource consumption, and rapid processing. However, static analysis requires a minimum number of features to efficiently classify malware. Therefore, we used genetic search（GS）, which is a search based on a genetic algorithm（GA）, to select the features among 106 strings. To evaluate the best features determined by GS, we used five machine learning classifiers, namely, Na？ve Bayes（NB）, functional trees（FT）, J48, random forest（RF）, and multilayer perceptron（MLP）. Among these classifiers, FT gave the highest accuracy（95%） and true positive rate（TPR）（96.7%） with the use of only six features.

The new paradigm in mobile services lies in providing a location-based user experience and here lies the tremendous scope for expansion of location-based services (LBS). One of the key approaches that have been recognized as an enabler of such a view is policy-based management, which has been mostly acknowledged as a methodology that provides adaptability and support to automatically assign network resources, control Quality of Service and security, by considering administratively specified rules. Whilst current research focuses mostly on rules for low-level device configuration, significant challenges remain to be addressed in order to provide dynamic adaptation of policy in response to changes and ensure that policies will lead to a feasible implementation within the managed environment. In this paper, the emphasis is on building the described environment using today's existing technologies. We use our policy-based framework PobMC to combine mobile (location-based) services, ubiquitous and autonomic computing concepts. The goal is to bring the kind of informationrich environment, which is currently limited to computer screens, to the real world. This is achieved by constructing an architecture based on existing wireless network technologies and Web applications. Location information of destinations and users is computed by the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) values of the Wi-Fi sensors, to provide adaptive services over wireless Web. The users use their mobile devices to access these location-based services.

Today, rail transportation is internationally recognized as the lowest cost per unit of transport, low energy consumption, and less damage to the environment. So far, Thailand is in process to expanding and improvement the modern rail transportation from Bangkok to other city. For this reason, the train system simulation is important for helping to investigate the effects of design and improvement or determine the correctness and efficiency of the design before the system is actually built or reconstructed. Therefore, this paper proposed the 3D simulation model for simulating train motion. we proposed examples use case for Bangkok Transit system (Silom line) in train speed profile simulation. The experimental result shows that the speed between stations is divided 4 part accelerating cruising coasting and braking. The experimental result shows that the speed profile by the 3D simulation model follows the typical stages of a train speed profile. This 3D simulation also can be used for the our open-source full train simulation in future. © 2021 IEEE.

Satisfiability modulo theories (SMT) play a key role in verification applications. A crucial SMT problem is to combine separate theory solvers for the union of theories. In previous work, the simplex method is used to determine the solvability of constraint systems and the equalities implied by constraint systems are detected by a multitude of applications of the dual simplex method. We present an effective simplex tableau-based method to identify all implicit equalities such that the simplex method is harnessed to an irreducible minimum. Experimental results show that the method is feasible and effective.

Facial Emotion Recognition is one of the in-demand and rapidly growing research topics in the domain of Computer Vision (CV) and artificial intelligence (AI). The ability to identify or detect human emotions from real-time facial expressions (FEs) has vast conceivable applications in different domains, such as sentiment analysis, human-computer interaction, human resource management, security, and human psychology. In this paper, a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based deep learning model is trained with haar-cascade classifier to recognize the real-time FEs. The suggested model is specially trained to categorize the FEs into one of the seven emotion categories, namely six basic emotions (sad, happy, angry, surprised, disgusted, fear) and a neutral emotion. It includes several convolutional layers, as well as fully connected neurons followed by max-pooling layers, and soft-max activation function with the corresponding seven classes. ReLU activation functions along with various kernels to enhance filtering depth, and extraction of facial features. FER-2013 dataset is used for experimentation purpose. To improve the classification performance and model accuracy, a data augmentation technique is used for rescaling and horizontal flipping. The proposed model outperforms the previous related works by achieving a validation accuracy of 71.96% and training accuracy above 90%, with fewer epochs. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, crowdsourcing has become the hype in knowledge acquisition and diffusion. It is a powerful method that promotes speedy information gathering and at the same time yields better results compared to other similar methods. Increasingly, crowdsourcing has also been actively used for reaching solutions to complex problems. Based on these premises, as well as to demonstrate our social responsibility towards the surrounding community, this paper aims to put fourth our effort through BetterCity while exploiting the advantages of crowdsourcing. It is a mobile application for iOS, which acts as an intermediary between local authority and residents specifically in issues reporting and handling. BetterCity makes the flow of issues reporting easier, achieves complete details of public report, allows the public to contribute information, and most importantly, creates a sense of community by cultivating responsible people to their local areas, together with the local authority. © 2015 IEEE.

In the context of small software development teams, this research article gives a thorough investigation of the adoption of test-driven development (TDD) approaches. It aims to highlight the benefits that TDD offers, such as improved code quality through modularization and proactive defect spotting which results in effective debugging and development processes. It also discusses the complex issues that arise when TDD is implemented in smaller teams, such as the learning curve and resource constraints. This study significantly advances the understanding of how TDD can be used to optimize software development techniques in organizations or software houses having small development teams.
