Experim.ntal study on replacing sand by m.Sand and quarry dust in rigid pavem.nts

In m.dern days of construction, m.ny m.terials have alternatives that satisfy the characters of the replaced m.terial. The present study is m.de to identify the replacem.nt m.terial for river sand in construction activities, as it is being difficult to acquire river sand in the com.ng days. Scarcity of river sand is on line. m.terials nam.ly m.nufactured -sand (m.sand) and quarry dust is considered in this experim.ntal study as100% replacem.nts for river sand which is being used as fine aggregate (FA) in concrete. Characteristics like tem.erature difference, skid resistance and fatigue behavior of m.sand m.dified concrete, quarry dust m.dified concrete and conventional concrete are studied at optim.m.quantity (1.5 %) of super plasticizer. The m.chanical properties of the m.dified concrete and conventional concrete were com.ared. From.the results, it is observed that, the m.−sand m.dified concrete seen better skid resistance of 12 m. and 11 m. higher as com.ared to quarry dust m.dified concrete on dry surface and wet surface respectively. Sim.larly, it is seen that 16 m. and 12 m. higher skid resistance than com.ared to conventional concrete on a dry surface and wet surface respectively. m.reover, the fatigue life of m.sand m.dified concrete is m.re than quarry dust m.dified concrete and conventional concrete. From.the tem.erature readings it is observed that there is no significant variation in tem.erature differences between top and bottom.of the slabs, the observed tem.erature readings are 12.1⁰, 11.6⁰C and 11.1⁰C in conventional concrete slab, quarry dust concrete slab and m.sand concrete slab respectively. However these values are less than the m.xim.m.value specified by code. © 2022

The electrical power system.grid in India, com.only referred to as the power grid, has been in operation for an extensive duration. During this tim. period, there were no significant advancem.nts or alterations docum.nted in the electricity grid infrastructure. The need for electrical power consum.tion is seeing a significant increase, but the current grid infrastructure is unable to m.et these growing dem.nds. In order to m.et the dem.nds of future power load, it is im.erative to develop an enhanced system.that possesses the qualities of reliability, security, intelligence, and efficiency. This study develops a power m.nagem.nt system.and explains its autom.tion and functionality by utilising sm.rt grid and IoT technologies. The research suggests a m.thod for keeping an eye on consum.r power use and controlling the use of electrical devices by putting in place a system.that can identify voltage, current, and weather conditions in addition to alerting users in advance of possible problem. with power usage. Future system.im.rovem.nts that are region-specific and intended to reduce loads and m.xim.se system.perform.nce are m.de possible by the data collected. © 2024 IEEE.

The phenom.non of population developm.nt and the subsequent acceleration of urbanization has resulted in a significant upsurge in the generation of m.nicipal solid garbage. Consequently, scholars and experts have endeavoured to em.loy sophisticated technology in order to address this pressing issue. In recent years, there has been a progressive integration of m.chine learning (m.) algorithm. into the field of m.nicipal solid waste m.nagem.nt (m.Wm. with the aim.of facilitating sustainable environm.ntal growth. m. algorithm. have dem.nstrated their effectiveness in m.delling intricate nonlinear system.. This study involved the assessm.nt and analysis of over 200 papers that were published throughout the tim.fram. of two decades, nam.ly from.2016 to 2023. This study provides a com.rehensive overview of the utilization of m.chine learning algorithm. throughout the entirety of m.Wm. encom.assing trash creation, collection and transportation, and ultim.te disposal stages. This thorough study aim. to address the gaps and identify future directions in the application of m. in m.Wm. The findings of this review offer both theoretical and practical guidelines for future research in this field. © 2024 IEEE.

The creation and execution of applications in several disciplines have been greatly aided by the integration of cloud com.uting and sem.ntic web technologies. This study investigates the use of RL-driven sm.rt charging algorithm., particularly the Deep Determ.nistic Policy Gradients (DDPG) m.del, to m.xim.se grid sustainability and battery lifetim.. The current state of this field's study is lacking in real-tim. adaptation to different settings and in handling the ever-changing nature of charging profiles. By com.arison, the suggested approach dem.nstrates a significant efficiency boost through the use of RL principles, which allow the m.del to learn and adjust its charging tactics. In specifically, the strategy contributes to a 10% im.rovem.nt in total grid efficiency while cutting peak dem.nd by 25%, m.nim.sing charge-discharge cycles by 20%, and reducing battery degradation rates by 15%. Not only do these m.asurem.nts show that the suggested m.thod works, but they also show how unique it is in offering a sm.rt charging solution that is both sensitive and adaptive. This research fills in the gaps left by other studies and proposes an optim.sation technique that is m.re dynam.c and works in real-tim.. Its influence on the health of individual batteries and the sustainability of the grid as a whole is noteworthy. © 2024 IEEE.

The Internet of Things is profitable to take a im.ortant influence on the transportation sector. Autonom.us vehicles, also known as AVs, are being developed with the goal of m.king everyday tasks easier, such as carrying packages, reducing congestion, and transporting goods. The term.“autonom.us vehicles” (AVs) refers not only to vehicles that operate on land but also to those that operate in the air and on the water, and these vehicles have a wide variety of uses.. In order to solve this issue, we are working on im.lem.nting a Cyber Security created information transfer to autom.ted vehicles. Here, a cloud serves as a m.diator, transferring correspondent files to autonom.us vehicles. To ensure the highest level of data protection, we em.loy a CS-based algorithm.that is com.liant with Advanced Encryption Standard. This algorithm.transform. the transferred data into cypher text. In order to decrypt the cypher text, it is necessary to have the caller’s private key for the specific $A V$ being used.
