Damage detection is often performed by using non-destructive vibration-based testing of structures. computer modelling is often an essential part of the damage detection process where possible damage cases can be simulated and evaluated within an inverse problem of system identification. Detecting delamination via vibration-based methods is especially challenging because of the need for capturing the higher modes of vibration. The standard finite element simulation requires a high resolution of the discretization to capture natural frequencies and mode shapes of higher modes. Considering the need for repetitions of the structural analysis in inverse problems, computer modelling of the structure with conventional finite elements may become unfeasible. Spectral Finite element method offers computational economy by using frequency-dependent shape functions, which is adopted in this study as the analysis tool to model the free-vibration behaviour of laminated composite beams. The computational economy gained by using the Spectral Finite element method in determining the natural frequency response of the structures is illustrated. The Wittrick-Willams procedure is implemented to identify the natural frequencies from the frequency-dependent dynamic stiffness matrix of the system. The effect of delamination on natural frequencies of vibration and a modelling approach accounting interlaminar friction are illustrated and possible improvements in delamination modelling are discussed. © 2022 International Conference on Structural Health monitoring of Intelligent Infrastructure: Transferring Research into Practice, SHmII. memes are a visual representation of images with text em.e.ded in them that conveys the thoughts and feelings of a peculiar audience and is mainly intended to elicit humor. It is widely spread across social media platforms in the guise of sardonic images, humorous jokes, and several other viral sensations. After the profound success of the late fusion technique that combines multimodal features, researchers have used stacked LSTm to extract textual features, whereas VGG16 has been used to extract visual features. Apart from this, BiLSTm and CNN have been used to extract contextual features. This study suggests a unique deep learning-based method for classifying objectionable memes within a multimodal dataset to address this problem. The proposed system uses machine learning to train the classifier on labeled data, which allows it to categorize the information accurately. The proposed system uses both text and image data. To improve user experience and safety, offensive images are blurred, and offensive words are shuffled using adversarial training.

In the contemporary digital landscape, the security of large datasets is paramount, given the increasing volume, variety, and velocity of data generation and collection. This paper provides an intricate examination of the application of various data mining techniques to bolster security measures in handling expansive datasets. Through a systematic exploration of methods including clustering, classification, and association, we aim to elucidate the efficacy and adaptability of these techniques in identifying and mitigating potential security threats. We critically analyze real-world scenarios and case studies, drawing comparative insights to underscore the nuanced applications and challenges inherent in diverse data environments. A detailed discussion is presented on the role of machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence in augmenting data mining processes, enhancing predictive accuracy, and real-time responsiveness to security breaches. The findings indicate a significant positive correlation between advanced data mining applications and enhanced data security. However, they also highlight existing vulnerabilities and areas necessitating further research and innovation. We conclude with recom.e.dations for integrating adaptive, scalable, and robust data mining frameworks to ensure comprehensive security in managing large datasets, paving the way for future research intersections between data mining and cybersecurity.

Due to the recent emerging trends in technology, Vehicle to Grid (V2G) networks plays a major role in smart grid system. Now a days using of electric vehicles has increased than the usage of fuel-based automobiles under transportation. electric vehicles mainly use electricity instead of fuels that is distributed by the charging terminal. Generally, the charging terminal will be situated in gasoline stations or on road sides and electric vehicles get charged at the stations. In V2G communication networks, the communication takes place between the charging terminal and the electric vehicle will be affected by several cyber-attacks. In addition to that, the electric vehicle owner's personal information should be kept secure. In this proposed system, charging terminal and electric vehicles initially register their identities at the control authority. Using of Anonymous mutual authentication scheme, the charging terminal and the electric vehicle authenticates with each other and establish protected communication between them. During Session Key exchange protocol, the information passed from the charging terminal will be transferred to the electric vehicle with the help of session keys. Duplicate identity of the charging terminal and electric vehicle is created in order to protect the original identity of the users who are present in V2G networks. Proposed scheme gives strength against various security attacks and cost of the system is also reduced. The main aim of this proposed system is to maintain confidentiality and integrity among the V2G communication networks. © 2023 Ieee.

The growing num.e. of electric vehicles (eVs) imposes greater stress on the power grid. One prospective remedy for this issue is the installation of a bidirectional charger that is also adept at aiding the power grid. The charging and discharging of the battery in an eV are both accomplished by bidirectional converters, one of which is an AC-DC and the other is a DC-DC. Changing the operating mode of a DC-DC converter can lead to it behaving differently. The plug-in hybrid electric car (PHeV) might work as an automobile that transmits power from "vehicle to grid." (V2G). electric car batteries can engage in bidirectional electricity exchange with the grid. The objective of the paperwork is to design a control approach for efficient power flow for V2G and G2V in eV. Peak load reduction, load balancing, voltage control, and enhanced electrical system stability can be achieved as a consequence. The utility grid can absorb the distributed stored power provided by V2G equipment in the manner of rotatory reserve power. The ability to transfer battery energy back to the power grid through V2G technology contributes to the enhancement of electrical system stability. If there is a bidirectional discharging circuit available, there is also an opportunity to supply power from the grid. In the framework of G2V and V2G in eVs, the research effort focuses on the battery parameter, the voltage of the inverter, and the grid. We will be designing and building bidirectional charges for the battery in eV using mATLAB Simulink for this present work. The simulation focuses on two primary modes of operation: - V2G and G2V. Both of these modes are depicted.

Preparing long-range entangled states poses significant challenges for near-term quantum devices. It is known that measurement and feedback (mF) can aid this task by allowing the preparation of certain paradigmatic long-range entangled states with only constant circuit depth. Here, we systematically explore the structure of states that can be prepared using constant-depth local circuits and a single mF round. Using the framework of tensor networks, the preparability under mF translates to tensor sym.e.ries. We detail the structure of matrix-product states (mPSs) and projected entangled-pair states (PePSs) that can be prepared using mF, revealing the coexistence of Clifford-like properties and magic. In one dimension, we show that states with Abelian-sym.e.ry-protected topological order are a restricted class of mF-preparable states. In two dimensions, we parametrize a subset of states with Abelian topological order that are mF preparable. Finally, we discuss the analogous implementation of operators via mF, providing a structural theorem that connects to the well-known Clifford teleportation.

It datasets are widely utilized, shared, and repurposed without providing enough context for understanding the decision-making processes that led to their creation. It is necessary to modify system creation and use procedures to handle the concrete effects of how knowledge for model building is envisioned and used in real-world applications as AI systems assume more and more important roles. Documents are created at every phase of the data generation lifecycle to improve communication, aid in decision-making, and highlight the need of careful data work. Photonics integrated circuitry would benefit considerably from the ability to arbitrarily control waveguide cross-sections with high precision and low loss,in order to provide more degrees of freedom in manipulating propagating ***,we report a new method for femtosecond laser writing of optical-fiber-compatible glass waveguides,namely spherical phase-induced multicore waveguide(SPIm-WG),which addresses this challenging task with three-dimensional on-chip light *** in the heating regime with high scanning speed,precise deformation of cross-sections is still achievable along the waveguide,with shapes and sizes finely controllable of high resolution in both horizontal and vertical transversal *** observed that these waveguides have high refractive index contrast of 0.017,low propagation loss of 0.14 dB/cm,and very low coupling loss of 0.19 dB coupled from a single-mode ***-WG devices were easily fabricated that were able to perform on-chip beam rotation through varying angles,or manipulate the polarization state of propagating light for target *** also demonstrated SPIm-WG mode converters that provide arbitrary adiabatic mode conversion with high efficiency between sym.e.ric and asym.e.ric nonuniform modes;examples include circular,elliptical modes,and asym.e.ric modes from ppKTP(periodically poled potassium titanyl phosphate)waveguides which are generally applied in frequency conversion and quantum light *** inside optical glass,these waveguides and devices have the capability to operate across ultra-broad bands from visible to infrared *** compatibility with optical fiber also paves the way toward packaged photonic integrated circuitry,which usually needs input and output fiber connections.

Long-range dependence (LRD) in complex time series is becoming an increasingly important aspect in the era of big data as we explore further into the complex world. From natural processes like heart rate variability (HRV) or manmade systems like the stock market, LRD is omnipresent. As such, accurately characterizing the LRD in terms of the Hurst parameter in these complex time series generated from complex systems is important. most existing methods for Hurst parameter estimation are for batch or offline processing. To achieve real-time evaluation, a moving window approach is applied when quantifying the LRD in the time series. This paper focuses on evaluating various techniques that estimate the Hurst parameter em.e.ded in the LRD time series. Nine techniques were analyzed, and three were determined to be the most accurate: Higuchi's method, Diffusion entropy Analysis, and Detrended Fluctuation Analysis for online real-time estimation of Hurst parameters. All reported results are reproducible for further robustness evaluation of online real-time Hurst parameter estimation.

Image security is very important in the field of medical imaging. To protect medical healthcare images, many studies have been undertaken. Because it eliminates data loss, encryption is the greatest solution for image secrecy. Traditional encryption methods, on the other hand, are difficult to apply to electronic health data due to data size limitations, redundancy, and scalability, especially when the data of a patient is delivered via different networks. As a result, since images are distinct from the text in terms of data loss and confidentiality, patients may loose the confidentiality and privacy of their data. Researchers discovered these security flaws and proposed different image encryption ways to remedy the problem. In order to build a safe image encryption solution for the healthcare business, this research proposes an efficient, lightweight encryption algorithm. The suggested lightweight encryption algorithm first separates the image into multiple clusters and then employs cluster-based permutations. Other procedures like diffusion and modulation could be used after that. The suggested technique is studied, analysed, and compared to generally encrypted ones in terms of information security and time complexity. The performance of the proposed method was assessed using a range of test images. Several experiments show that the proposed image cryptosystems methodology is more efficient than existing approaches. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
