SCADE is both a language and a model-based software development environment that can develop systems in safety-critical fields. It is paramount for these systems to satisfy their safety requirements. Although SCADE can verify some properties by its design Verifier (DV), it cannot verify the unbounded temporal or liveness properties due to its limitation. With the diversification of system application scenarios, these temporal properties also need to be verified to ensure the reliability of the system. In this paper, we concentrate on solving this problem by introducing Scade2Nu, a tool that can transform SCADE state machines into NuSMV input languages. Scade2Nu helps the designer to apply Linear-time Temporal Logic (LTL) and computational Tree Logic (CTL) formulas as the requirements specifications of SCADE models. With the aid of the NuSMV model checker as well as its verification results, designers can explore more different kinds of properties to further reduce bugs at the requirements phase in the development cycle. copyright © 2019 by the paper’s authors.

Micro-expression which is the transient expression will be disclosed when people try to hide some kind of real inner emotions. Micro-expression changes so fast that few people detect its existence. As an effective behavioral clue, it is of great significance to understand the change of peoples true feelings. Based on this, image feature extraction in machine learning has made remarkable progress in the past two years. In order to improve the accuracy and practicability of micro-expression recognition, this paper deeply analyzed the practical micro-expression recognition method. Based on landmark detection. We construct a quantitative model and established a machine learning model of micro-expression judgment based on the comprehensive changes of eyes, mouth and eyebrows. This paper combine the feature unit and model application scene for judgement of micro-expression. This method reflect the design idea that the changes of face locality contributed to the overall micro-expression judgment, and helped to complete the high autonomous construction of the micro expression judgment model.

As people depend more and more on software, there exists an increasing demand for software trustworthiness. The quantification of software trustworthiness can not only help users choose the right software, but also provide evidence for increasing the trustworthiness of the design and implementation of software. It has important practical significance to software development and application. In this paper, software trustworthiness measurements are surveyed from two aspects of product and process. The advances in the product-oriented software trustworthiness measurements are summarized in the view of attributes and behaviors, and the research progress of the process-based software trustworthiness measurements is studied from the perspective of expert experience and process data. FDA3: Federated defense against adversarial attacks for cloud-based iiot applications

—Along with the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) techniques, various kinds of adversarial attacks are increasingly emerging to fool Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) used by Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications. Due to biased training data or vulnerable underlying models, imperceptible modifications on inputs made by adversarial attacks may result in devastating consequences. Although existing methods are promising in defending such malicious attacks, most of them can only deal with limited existing attack types, which makes the deployment of large-scale IIoT devices a great challenge. To address this problem, we present an effective federated defense approach named FDA3 that can aggregate defense knowledge against adversarial examples from different sources. Inspired by federated learning, our proposed cloud-based architecture enables the sharing of defense capabilities against different attacks among IIoT devices. comprehensive experimental results show that the generated DNNs by our approach can not only resist more malicious attacks than existing attack-specific adversarial training methods, but also can prevent IIoT applications from new attacks. copyright © 2020, The Authors. software trustworthiness evaluation results can provide guidance for existing software development. Therefore, it is of great significance to study software trustworthiness evaluation. Weights and the relationship of trustworthy attributes have a huge effect on the results of software trustworthiness evaluation. However, few studies have considered weights and the quantitative relationship among trustworthy attributes at the same time. Structural equation modeling (SEM) provides a more scientific and reasonable method to obtain weights, where the objectification of subjective weights is guaranteed. In this paper, we propose a SEM-based method to evaluate software trustworthiness. Firstly, we establish the trustworthy evaluation indicator system for software. Based on the survey data, we construct the SEM for software trustworthiness evaluation to obtain the weights of trustworthy attributes and the relationship among them. Lastly, we apply the trustworthy measurement model to calculate the trustworthiness value of software to be surveyed. These trustworthiness values demonstrate the reasonability of our method. © 2019 Totem Publisher, Inc. All rights reserved.

Cyber-Physical System (CPS) is a typical intelligent system composed of agents. It has an important feature of spatial temporal constraints. To describe the constraints on agents, Chen proposed the spatial-temporal consistency language (STeC) in 2012 and the hybrid clock system in 2014. In this paper we will set up the hybrid clock logic systems (HCL) to specify the spatial temporal constraint property of agents in CPS. After giving the syntax and semantics of HCL, we consider the satisfaction relationship between a STeC design and HCL specification of a CPS agent. Some case studies show this satisfaction relationship is reasonable. We also introduce a model-checking algorithm for HCL. © 2019 IEEE.

Group equivariant convolutional Neural Networks (G-CNNs) has led to big empirical success in the medical domain, one fundamental assumption is that equivariance provides a powerful inductive bias for medical images. By leveraging concepts from group representation theory, we can generalize vanilla convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to G-CNN. Currently, although embedding an arbitrary equivariance to CNNs can learn powerful disentangled representations in a higher dimensional domain, they lack explicit means to learn meaningful relationships among the equivariant convolutional kernels. In this paper, we propose a generalization of the dynamic convolutional method, named as dynamic group equivariant convolution, to strengthen the relationships and increase model capability by aggregating multiple group convolutional kernels via attention. Meanwhile, we generalize attention to an equivariant one to preserve equivariant of dynamic group convolution. In our approach, this leads to a flexible framework that enables a dynamic convolutional in G-CNNs by means of a dynamic routing layer expansions. We demonstrate that breast tumor classification is substantial improvements when compared to a recent baseline architecture.

Selective-Opening Security for Public-Key Encryption in the Presence of Parameter Subversion

In public-key encryption (PKE), ciphertexts received by a receiver may be possibly correlated and the security of a PKE relies on honestly generated system parameters. Security against selective opening attacks (SOA) for PKE guarantees that even when an attacker has broken into a subset of honestly generated ciphertexts and opened them (i.e., seeing plaintexts and random bits), the unopened ciphertexts remain secure. While security against parameter subversion attacks (PSA) for PKE requires that even when the public system parameters are maliciously generated, a PKE scheme should be secure. In this paper, we initiate the study of PKE secure against both SOA and PSA. To capture SOA and PSA simultaneously, we formulate a new security notion called indistinguishability under selective opening attacks and parameter subversion attacks (IND-SO-PSA). Further, we define the lossy trapdoor function and all-but-many lossy trapdoor function in the presence of PSA (LTF-PSA and ABM-LTF-PSA correspondingly) and propose an instantiation with the efficiently-embeddable group (EG). Applying these new primitives, we construct a PKE scheme that is proven to be IND-SO-PSA secure. © 2021 Burong Kang et al.

Based on the ZYNQ platform, this paper proposes a hardware/software co-design approach, and implements a binocular stereo vision system with high real-time performance and good human-computer interaction, which can be used to assist advanced driver assistance systems to improve driving safety. combining the application characteristics of binocular stereo vision, the approach firstly modularizes the system’s functions to perform hardware/software partitioning, accelerates the data processing on FPGA, and performs the data control on ARM cores;then uses the ARM instruction set to configure the registers within FPGA to design relevant interfaces to complete the data interaction between hardware and software;finally, combines the implementation of specific algorithms and logical control to complete the binocular stereo vision system. The test results show that the frame rate with an image resolution of 640 * 480 can reach 121.43 frames per second when the FPGA frequency is 100M, and the frame rate is also high for large resolution images. At the same time, the system can achieve real-time display and human-computer interaction with the control of the graphical user interface. © 2019, ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

The new video coding algorithm H.265 achieved twice compression rate than the prevailing H.264, but the encoding speed is reduced several times, making it difficult for the realtime applications such as video surveillance and remote meeting. In this paper, we design a parallel intra-frame mode decision architecture based on FPGA to accelerate the coding. We prove that the mode decision problem of multi-level large coding unit of H.265 can be transformed into the accumulation of multiple single-level small coding unit mode decision. Furthermore, we design how mode decision is accelerated by finegrained parallelism within coding unit, and pipelining among coding units, then implement them on FPGA. The experimental results show that the proposed architecture achieves maximum 93.6× acceleration compare with the ARM A53 platform, with an insignificant loss of video quality.
