In this paper, a two-dimensional model of plasma diffusion in remote plasma source discharge chamber is established by COMSOL plasma module. The electron density and electron temperature distributions inside the discharge cavity were obtained by adjusting the thickness of alumina coating and the magnitude of RF power parameters. Based on the results, the authors discuss the effects of different alumina coating thickness and RF power on the electron density and electron temperature inside the discharge cavity, which provide theoretical guidance for the subsequent optimization of the internal structure of the discharge cavity and the discharge parameters.

Deformable micro-continua of highly localized nature are found to exactly exhibit all quantum effects commonly known for quantum entities at microscopic *** every instant,the spatial configuration of each such micro-continuum is prescribed by four spatial distributions of the mass,the velocity,the internal stress,and the intrinsic angular *** deformability features of such micro-continua in response to all configuration changes are identified with a constitutive equation that specifies how the internal stress responds to the mass density *** is shown that these microcontinua are endowed with the following unique response features:(i)the coupled system of the nonlinear field equations governing their dynamic responses to any given force and torque fields is exactly reducible to a linear dynamic equation governing a complex field variable;(ii)this fundamental dynamic equation and this complex field variable are just the Schrodinger equation and the complex wave function in quantum theory;and,accordingly,(iii)the latter two and all quantum effects known for quantum entities are in a natural and unified manner incorporated as the inherent response features of the micro-continua discovered,thus following objective and deterministic response patterns for quantum entities,in which the physical origins and meanings of the wave function and the Schrodinger equation become self-evident and,in particular,any probabilistic indeterminacy becomes irrelevant.

Dynamics of a Gaussian and Non-Gaussian Vibration Excited Discrete Product Packaging System with Hyperbolic Tangent Nonlinearity

This paper reveals the dynamical properties of a Gaussian and non-Gaussian vibration excited multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) discrete product packaging system (DPPS) with hyperbolic tangent nonlinearity base on a more systematic acceleration response analysis. Firstly, the product package considering multiple critical components is modeled as a general model of MDOF DPPS, centered around the opposite designed purpose with the similar multiple tuned mass damper (MTMD) model, in which the hyperbolic tangent nonlinearity is rarely considered, then approximate solution theory is established to effectively predicate the acceleration response spectrum of the hyperbolic tangent MDOF DPPS under Gaussian random vibration. Secondly, Hermite polynomial is adopted to simulate non-Gaussian vibration excitation, and verified by the actual road excitation signal. On this basis, the non-Gaussian random vibration analysis method is introduced to analyze the acceleration non-Gaussian stochastic response of the system, the sensitivity of the response to the external excitation and system parameters is discussed. Finally, the reliability analysis via the first-passage distribution of the acceleration stochastic response is given. Approximate solution theory can effectively predict acceleration response spectrum of the system under Gaussian random vibration. The proposed non-Gaussian vibration analysis approach can conveniently reproduce actual non-Gaussian vibration excitation and analyze the dynamic properties, the investigation provides a guidance for packaging vibration absorption design. © 2023, The Authors. The three-body problem can be traced back to Newton in 1687,but it is still an open question *** that only a few periodic orbits of three-body systems were found in 300 years after Newton mentioned this famous *** triple systems are common in astronomy,practically all observed periodic triple systems are hierarchical(similar to the Sun,Earth and Moon).It has traditionally been believed that non-hierarchical triple systems would be unstable and thus should disintegrate into a stable binary system and a single star,and consequently stable periodic orbits of non-hierarchical triple systems have been expected to be rather ***,we report here one family of 135445 periodic orbits of non-hierarchical triple systems with unequal masses;13315 among them are *** with the narrow mass range(only 10-5)in which stable"Figure-eight"periodic orbits of three-body systems exist,our newly found stable periodic orbits have fairly large mass *** find that many of these numerically found stable non-hierarchical periodic orbits have mass ratios close to those of hierarchical triple systems that have been measured with astronomical *** implies that these stable periodic orbits of non-hierarchical triple systems with distinctly unequal masses quite possibly can be observed in *** investigation also suggests that there should exist an infinite number of stable periodic orbits of non-hierarchical triple systems with distinctly unequal *** that our approach has general meaning:in a similar way,every known family of periodic orbits of three-body systems with two or three equal masses can be used as a starting point to generate thousands of new periodic orbits of triple systems with distinctly unequal masses.

In order to obtain the welding stress of the output needle and helix, a finite element model is established and the mesh at the weld is refined to evaluate the welding residual stress. ANSYS parameter design language is used to simulate the motion load of welding heat source. Based on the exact calculation of the temperature field, the corresponding thermal units are converted into structural units to calculate the welding residual stress. Finally, the thermal stress distribution curve and residual stress distribution trend are obtained after post-treatment. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

The interaction between abrasive particles and optical element surface can result in various forms of subsurface damage while removing the material. In order to obtain the stress distribution during optical glass grinding, the finite element analysis of optical glass grinding is carried out by using ANSYS software. The stress distribution of optical glass was obtained by establishing the grinding model of consolidated abrasive and free abrasive. The simulation results show that different abrasives have different damage degrees to the glass surface, which provides a useful reference for improving the quality of optical material processing technology. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. Flexural Performance of Layered Macro Fiber Reinforced Concrete Short Beams

Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites have been increasingly used in various sectors, which inevitably results in an increasing amount of FRP waste to be dealt with. A recent study conducted by the author’s group explored a novel mechanical recycling method to process GFRP waste into small slender elements (referred to as "macro fibers") for reinforcing concrete, leading to so called "macro fibre reinforced concrete" (i.e., MFRC). The macro fibres recycled from waste FRP composites bridge the cracks in concrete and mitigate their development, thus enhancing the flexural strength and toughness of MFRC flexural members. However, the macro fibres have a negligible effect on the compressive properties of MFRC, which implies that the macro fibres in the compressive zone cannot be efficiently utilized. As motivated by the concept of the layered structure, this paper presents an experimental investigation on the flexural performance of the layered beams with the MFRC bottom layer and PC (plain concrete) top layer, expecting to improve the utilization of the incorporated macro fibres. The investigated test parameters include the height of the bottom layer as well as the macro fiber content in the bottom layer. The test results show that the application of layer structure effectively enhances the utilization of macro fibers and hence promotes the future technological application of the proposed mechanical recycling method. © 2022, The Authors. The reliability of the DIP package is studied by numerical simulation. Firstly, the DIP package, fixture and metal steel are modeled. Based on this, variable thickness papers are laid on the sample. According to the experiment, corresponding excitation and boundary condition are set. Then, the transient analysis result of DIP package is obtained through numerical simulation. The results show the relation of different thickness papers and acceleration-time curve, which provides a beneficial reference for the optimization of DIP packing. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. BGA package is selected as the research object in this paper. Workbench (finite elemental analysis tool in ANSYS) is used for harmonic response analysis. The author lays several paper sheets on the sample and builds the finite element model of clamp, ceramic and metal plate. Then, the model analysis is carried out. Based on this, it is converted to harmonic response analysis. According to the results, the author has found that there is no relation between the number of paper sheets and acceleration-frequency result. It promotes the development of electronic packaging reliability. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

Recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) prepared from waste concrete can achieve the green recycling of resources;however, its inferior material properties hinder its applications. Sea-sand concrete (SSC) can help alleviate the resource shortage of fresh water and river sands but is prone to steel corrosion. To address these challenges, this study developed a new RAC-filled steel tube column with a small-diameter circular fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP)-confined SSC core. This paper presents and discusses the results of the axial compression tests conducted on RAC-filled steel tube columns, with and without small-diameter circular FRP-confined SSC cores. The study investigated the effects of the configuration of the FRP-confined SSC core, diameter-to-thickness ratio of the FRP tubes, compressive strength of RAC and SSC, and cross-sectional shape of the column. The results revealed that using small-diameter circular FRP-confined SSC cores to partially replace RAC was effective in improving the compressive performance of RAC-filled steel tube columns. The increase in the number of FRP tubes, in-filled concrete strength, and confinement stiffness of the steel and FRP tubes contributed to improvements in the structural strength and ductility, resulting in progressive ladder-shaped declines in the post-peak curve. Finally, a reasonable load–capacity model is presented for the proposed columns. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
