Secure control against cyber attacks becomes increasingly significant in cyber-physical systems(CPSs).False data injection attacks are a class of cyber attacks that aim to compromise CPS functions by injecting false data such as sensor measurements and control *** quantified false data injection attacks,this paper establishes an effective defense framework from the energy conversion ***,we design an energy controller to dynamically adjust the system energy changes caused by unknown *** designed energy controller stabilizes the attacked CPSs and ensures the dynamic performance of the system by adjusting the amount of damping ***,with the disturbance attenuation technique,the burden of control system design is simplified because there is no need to design an attack *** addition,this secure control method is simple to implement because it avoids complicated mathematical *** effectiveness of our control method is demonstrated through an industrial CPS that controls a permanent magnet synchronous motor.

An improved estimation of distribution algorithm for multi-compartment electric vehicle routing problem

The multi-compartment electric vehicle routing problem(EVRP)with soft time window and multiple charging types(MCEVRP-STW&MCT)is studied,in which electric multi-compartment vehicles that are environmentally friendly but need to be recharged in course of transport process,are employed.A mathematical model for this optimization problem is established with the objective of minimizing the function composed of vehicle cost,distribution cost,time window penalty cost and charging service *** solve the problem,an estimation of the distribution algorithm based on Lévy flight(EDA-LF)is proposed to perform a local search at each iteration to prevent the algorithm from falling into local *** results demonstrate that the EDA-LF algorithm can find better solutions and has stronger robustness than the basic EDA *** addition,when comparing with existing algorithms,the result shows that the EDA-LF can often get better solutions in a relatively short time when solving medium and large-scale *** experiments show that using electric multi-compartment vehicles to deliver incompatible products can produce better results than using traditional fuel vehicles.

Transmission-Constrained Consensus of Multiagent Networks

This article studies the consensus problem for multiagent systems with transmission constraints. A novel model of multiagent systems is proposed where the information transmissions between agents are disturbed by irregular distortions or interferences (named transmission constraint functions), and this model is universal which can be applied in many cases, such as interval consensus and discarded consensus. In the transmission-constrained consensus problem, we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition that agents can converge to state consensus. Furthermore, a more general case is studied in which the system reaches an equilibrium. Based on some techniques of stability theory, the existence, uniqueness, and stability of the system equilibrium point can be proven, which means the system can reach an asymptotically stable equilibrium. Moreover, the state values of the equilibrium are only decided by the network structure and transmission constraint functions but not the agents' initial states. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the proposed theorems and corollaries. © 2014 IEEE.

3D multipath planning for UAV based on network graph

According to the characteristic and the requirement of multipath planning, a new multipath planning method is proposed based on network. This method includes two steps： the construction of network and multipath searching. The construction of network proceeds in three phases： the skeleton extraction of the configuration space, the judgment of the cross points in the skeleton and how to link the cross points to form a network. Multipath searching makes use of the network and iterative penalty method （IPM） to plan multi-paths, and adjusts the planar paths to satisfy the requirement of maneuverability of unmanned aerial vehicle （UAV）. In addition, a new height planning method is proposed to deal with the height planning of 3D route. The proposed algorithm can find multiple paths automatically according to distribution of terrain and threat areas with high efficiency. The height planning can make 3D route following the terrain. The simulation experiment illustrates the feasibility of the proposed method.

The complexity of coupled risks, which refer to the compounded effects of interacting uncertainties across multiple interdependent objectives, is inherent to cities functioning as dynamic, interdependent systems. A disruption in one domain ripples across various urban systems, often with unforeseen consequences. Central to this complexity are people, whose behaviors, needs, and vulnerabilities shape risk evolution and response effectiveness. Realizing cities as complex systems centered on human needs and behaviors is essential to understanding the complexities of coupled urban risks. This paper adopts a complex systems perspective to examine the intricacies of coupled urban risks, emphasizing the critical role of human decisions and behavior in shaping these dynamics. We focus on two key dimensions: cascading hazards in urban environments and cascading failures across interdependent exposed systems in cities. Existing risk assessment models often fail to capture the complexity of these processes, particularly when factoring in human decision-making. To tackle these challenges, we advocate for a standardized taxonomy of cascading hazards, urban components, and their interactions. At its core is a people-centric perspective, emphasizing the bidirectional interactions between people and the systems that serve them. Building on this foundation, we argue the need for an integrated, people-centric risk assessment framework that evaluates event impacts in relation to the hierarchical needs of people and incorporates their preparedness and response capacities. By leveraging real-time data, advanced simulations, and innovative validation methods, this framework aims to enhance the accuracy of coupled urban risk modeling. To effectively manage coupled urban risks, cities can draw from proven strategies in real complex systems. Design of a High Performance Monolithic Current-Mode Boost DC-DC Converter

The work presented in this paper mainly focuses on designing a monolithic current-mode boost DC-DC converter with integrated 22V DMOS FET power switch and control circuits. The boost converter operating at fixed frequency of 1.6MHz has been fabricated with a 1.5μm Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) process. The chip with features of wide input voltage range (2.7V to 14V), high efficiency over large load range (1mA to 500mA), low shutdown current, fast transient response and low power, was designed for mobile power management applications. Besides issues such as technology choice, power switch optimization and ramp compensation, the paper also copes with the monolithic switching noise in switching power IC circuits.

Bearing remaining useful life(RUL) prediction is critical for safe operation of rotating *** this paper,we propose a combined RUL prediction approach that leverages both trajectory similarity and relevance vector machine(RVM).The similarity based prediction relies on historical degradation trajectories that are highly similar to the online data,hence would perform poorly if all historical trajectories have low similarity with the online *** RVM based prediction relies solely on a regression model learned from the available online data,thus gives an inaccurate prediction when insufficient data are available in the early stage of degradation.A weighted sum of these above two predictions is proposed to address the limitation of each single prediction method,whose weights are determined by solving a non-negative least squares fitting *** further improve RUL prediction accuracy,we distinguish between fast and slow degradation modes,so that each mode uses a different set of historical degradation trajectories and kernel *** doing so,we predict RUL under the identified *** case study using the PHM2012 dataset demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed RUL prediction approach.

There have been increasing interests in studying multiplex dynamical networks *** paper focuses on topology identiflcation of two-layer multiplex networks with peer-to-peer interlayer *** a two-layer network model in which different layers have different coupling patterns,we propose novel methods to recover unknown topological structure of one layer,using the information of the other layer known as a *** proposed methods make full use of the measured evolutional states of the multiplex network itself,and treat the layer with a known structure as an auxiliary layer which is designed to identify the unknown topological *** with the traditional synchronization-based identiflcation method,the proposed methods are in no need of constructing an additional auxiliary network to identify the unknown topological layer,and thus greatly reduce the cost of topology ***,numerical simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
