Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is a severe breast disease. It generates little symptom and may be neglected in prodromal stage. In this study, we developed a novel DCIS detection method based on breast thermography, which can provide earlier alert than other exams. We created a 40 breast-thermogram dataset. We used six statistical measures, and we used fractal dimension to describe the texture measure. The extreme learning machine was used as the classifier. Our developed system yielded a sensitivity of 93.0 ± 2.6%, a specificity of 92.5 ± 2.6%, and an accuracy of 92.8 ± 1.8%. The extreme learning machine was better than support vector machine, artificial neural network, decision tree, and weighted k-nearest neighbors. There exist some obstacles to realize high-precision positioning with using the position differential technique due to the limiting factors. However, with the advancement of chip performance and the establishment of multiple satellite navigation systems, position differential positioning can be realized to meet the civilian high-precision positioning demand while significantly reducing costs. This paper is to explore the engineering application and propose a new method. Through the experiments and data analysis, we have found the error correlation between two receivers in a small area and designed a set of positioning system, and programmed in the Keil μVision5 in C language. The system consists of the current mainstream low-cost STM32, UBLOX NEO 6M chip, NRF24L01 chip, GPS antenna and power supply module. Each two receivers can form a differential positioning system. At present, the system in the low-speed status is, in the urban environment, basically reaching within 0.5 - 3 m of the positioning error.

This paper addresses the problem of regulating the output voltage of a DC-DC buck-boost converter feeding a constant power load, which is a problem of current practical interest. Designing a stabilising controller is theoretically challenging because its average model is a bilinear second order system that, due to the presence of the constant power load, is non-minimum phase with respect to both states. Moreover, to design a high-performance controller, the knowledge of the extracted load power, which is difficult to measure in industrial applications, is required. In this paper, an adaptive interconnection and damping assignment passivity-based control-that incorporates the immersion and invariance parameter estimator for the load power-is proposed to solve the problem. Some detailed simulations are provided to validate the transient behaviour of the proposed controller and compare it with the performance of a classical PD scheme. Copyright © 2017, The Authors. The problem of assembly job shop scheduling(AJSS) is studied with the objective of minimizing the weighted sum of earliness and tardiness penalties. An insertion search algorithm is proposed to solve the problem. The operations of job with tardiness or earliness are shifted left or right to optimize the sequence. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.

In this paper, the analysis of quantized effect on robust distributed consensus of linear uncertain multi-agent systems(MASs) via sliding-mode control(SMC) is investigated. Two kinds of phenomena on input quantization, including quantization mismatch and quantization measurement saturation, are analyzed. It shows that robust distributed consensus of linear uncertain MASs via SMC strategy might not be well achieved when the two kinds of quantization phenomena are ignored in the control design. Several research ideas for quantized feedback robust consensus via SMC strategy are finally discussed.

This paper develops a continuous second-order sliding mode control based on finite-time disturbance observer for light of sight (LOS) stabilized loop of inertial stabilized platform. The main purpose of an inertial stabilized platform is to eliminate the various disturbances to make the LOS keep steady in an inertial space. To accomplish the controller design, the equations of motion for a 2-DOF gimbal system driven by permanent synchronous motors are established and the cross coupling torque, mass unbalance torque, uncertain load torque are treated as the lumped disturbances. And to improve the tracking accuracy, a new continuous sliding mode control approach is employed to control the rate loop of the system. The proposed method confirms that the tracking error of LOS rate converges to zero in finite time even in the presence of the disturbances. By using the Lyapunov function technique, a rigorous finite-time convergence proof is given. The comparison simulation results show that the proposed method for LOS stabilized system exhibits a promising control performance in practical engineering.

Supplier selection is an important decision for an enterprise to realize a sustainable production. However, almost all works, which concerned the environmental issues, focused on the supplier selection or evaluation methods, rather than the incentive mechanism urging the participants to improve their decisions (reduce the harm to the environment). In this paper, not only are the commercial factors (price, quantity, and lead time), but also the environment factors (green factors and carbon dioxide emissions) of the suppliers are considered during the selection. The determinations of the green factors and the total carbon dioxide emissions depend on the analysis of the history trade data. An incentive supplier selection mechanism, which urges the agents to improve their decisions to reduce the harm to the environment, is proposed. Numerical calculations are provided to verify the feasibility and the superiority of the proposed model.

In this paper, consensus disturbance rejection control problem for a class of second-order leader-follower multi-agent systems are investigated. Such systems not only contain unmeasurable states but also suffer from mismatched disturbances. By combining integral-type nonsingular terminal sliding-mode control technique and an extended-state observer technique together, finite-time consensus is achieved. Firstly, to obtain accurate information of the unmeasurable states and disturbances, an extended-state observer is designed for each follower. Secondly, the states and disturbances estimates are distributedly employed to design nonlinear terminal sliding-mode surfaces. Finally, based on these sliding-mode surfaces, sliding-mode consensus protocols are designed via output feedback. Simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed distributed control scheme.

This paper proposes a two-column convolutional neural network algorithm for face point detection, which proves better performance than single-column. Because of the deep level structure, global texture features are extracted at higher layers of the network, and the results of keypoint location remains high accuracy. In the first column, we take the channel component of original image as input to train the neural network respectively and calculate the average location results. In the second one, we use Sobel operator to extract first-order derivative feature of original image and regard it as the input to train another convolutional network. The location results of two columns above are fused with appropriate proportion to ensure better results. Experimental result on LFW dataset shows the performance of the proposed parallel structure better than single convolutional network, and it stays robust due to occlusions, large pose variations and extreme lighting.

Face detection technology is a hot topic in the past recent years. It has been maturely applied to many practical areas. However, the driver face detection is still an open problem to solve. In this paper, we proposed an improved method to promote the face detection rate and apply it to the images from the monitoring videos. The first step is to detect the car from the images according to an off-line learning method. Then the method based on additional off-line learning method is the front level for skin color feature in order to correctly detect the driver face. The proposed systems are implemented on the various complicated road environment. The results show that the proposed method improves the efficiency of the driver face detection and is of strong robustness on having glasses, driver head rotation, and lighting change.
