This paper studies distributed estimation of linear dynamical target in homogeneous sensor networks. Just some sensors can get observations of the target. A distributed estimator composing of Luenberger observers and consensus strategy is applied. Based on spectral radius analysis and algebraic graph theory, necessary conditions of distributed detectability are given for time-invariant and randomly switching networks, respectively. By applying Lyapunov functional analysis and solving a special LQR problem, sufficient detectability conditions are proposed for both networks. The sufficient conditions are composed of an explicit inequality concerning weights, topology switching probabilities and the eigenvalues of the target's system matrix. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the results.

Dual-rotor axial field flux-switching permanent magnet (DRAFFSPM) machine is a novel permanent magnet (PM) machine which incorporates the merits of both the flux-switching PM machine and the axial field PM machine. The cogging torque of the DRAFFSPM machine is high due to the flux focusing which is caused by the double salient structure. In order to reduce the cogging torque, the influence of the rotor pole width and shape on the cogging torque is analyzed based on the 3D finite element (FE) method. The cogging torque reduction methods, such as the rotor skewing, rotor notching, and rotor pole displacement, etc., are investigated. The results show that increasing the rotor pole width and adopting fan-shaped rotor pole can decrease the cogging torque greatly. The cogging torque can be reduced by ~77% when the rotor pole width and rotor fan-shaped angle are optimized to 15.5 deg. and 3 deg., respectively. The cogging torque can't be decreased by the rotor skewing for DRAFFSPM machine. However, the cogging torque can be reduced by rotor notching and rotor pole displacement.

In this paper, the asymptotical stabilization problem for ordinary differential equations switched systems has been extended to distributed parameter switched systems(DPSS) in Hilbert space. Based on semigroup and operator theory, sufficient conditions of asymptotical stabilization for linear DPSS are derived in linear operator inequalities(LOIs)framework. Being applied to three dimensional switched heat propagation equations, we transform the LOIs into the linear matrix inequalities(LMIs), which has the advantage of being numerically well tractable by using matlab software. In particular, the state feedback gain matrices are designed. Two examples are given to illustrate the proposed results.

This paper addresses the controller synthesis for a class of continuous-time switched positive linear systems. A sufficient condition for the existence of a set of state-feedback controllers which guarantee the positivity and stability of the closed-loop systems for switched positive linear systems are presented, including the requirement of positive or negative controllers. In addition, the controller synthesis problems with interval and polytopic uncertainties are also addressed. All the obtained conditions are solved in terms of Linear Programming. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the result.

The terminal guidance problem for missile intercepting maneuvering targets is investigated in this paper. To guarantee the disturbance rejection performance and alleviate the chattering problem, nonsingular terminal sliding mode control(NTSMC) and finite-time disturbance observer(FTDO) are introduced to design the composite guidance law considering the first-order autopilot dynamics. In this paper, the target acceleration and some state variables are regarded as unknown bounded disturbances. Finite-time disturbance observer(FTDO) is employed to estimate the disturbances and estimations of disturbances are employed as feedforward compensation to weaken the influence of disturbances. The proposed guidance law can guarantee that the line of sight(LOS) angular rate converges to zero in finite time. Simulation comparisons show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
