Trust plays an essential role in an individual’s decision-making. Traditional trust prediction models rely on pairwise correlations to infer potential relationships between users. However, in the real world, interactions between users are usually complicated rather than pairwise only. Hypergraphs offer a flexible approach to modeling these complex high-order correlations (not just pairwise connections), since hypergraphs can leverage hyperedeges to link more than two nodes. However, most hypergraph-based methods are generic and cannot be well applied to the trust prediction task. In this paper, we propose an Adaptive Hypergraph Network for Trust Prediction (AHNTP), a novel approach that improves trust prediction accuracy by using higher-order correlations. AHNTP utilizes Motif-based PageRank to capture high-order social influence information. In addition, it constructs hypergroups from both node-level and structure-level attributes to incorporate complex correlation information. Furthermore, AHNTP leverages adaptive hypergraph Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) layers and multilayer perceptrons (MLPs) to generate comprehensive user embeddings, facilitating trust relationship prediction. To enhance model generalization and robustness, we introduce a novel supervised contrastive learning loss for optimization. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of our model over the state-of-the-art approaches in terms of trust prediction accuracy. Scene Graph Generation (SGG) aims to detect all objects and identify their pairwise relationships existing in the scene. Considering the substantial human labor costs, existing scene graph annotations are often sparse and biased, which result in confusion training with low-frequency predicates. In this work, we design a Semi-Supervised Clustering framework for Scene Graph Generation (SSC-SGG) that uses the sparse labeled data to guide the generation of effective pseudo-labels from unlabeled object pairs, thus enriching the labeled sample space, especially for low-frequency interaction samples. We approach from the perspective of clustering, reducing the problem of confirmation bias in a self-training manner. Specifically, we first enhance the model’s robustness to feature extraction via prototype-based clustering, aggregating different relationship augmented features onto the same prototype. Secondly, we design a dynamic pseudo-label assignment algorithm based on a mini-batch, which adjusts the detection sensitivity to different frequency samples from the historical assignment. Finally, we conduct joint training on the pseudo-labels and the labeled data. We conduct experiments on various SGG models and achieve substantial overall performance improvements, demonstrating the effectiveness of SSC-SGG. This paper contributes a sophisticated statistical method for the assessment of performance in routing protocols salient Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET)routing protocols:Destination Sequenced Distance Vector(DSDV),Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV),Dynamic Source Routing(DSR),and Zone Routing Protocol(ZRP).In this paper,the evaluation will be carried out using complete sets of statistical tests such as Kruskal-Wallis,Mann-Whitney,and *** articulates a systematic evaluation of how the performance of the previous protocols varies with the number of nodes and the mobility *** study is premised upon the Quality of Service(QoS)metrics of throughput,packet delivery ratio,and end-to-end delay to gain an adequate understanding of the operational efficiency of each protocol under different network *** findings explained significant differences in the performance of different routing protocols;as a result,decisions for the selection and optimization of routing protocols can be taken effectively according to different network *** paper is a step forward in the general understanding of the routing dynamics of MANETs and contributes significantly to the strategic deployment of robust and efficient network infrastructures.

The neurological condition epilepsy is demanding and even fatal. Electroencephalogram (EEG)-based epilepsy detection still faces various difficulties. EEG readings fluctuate, and different patients have various seizure activity patterns. EEG signal detection is time-consuming and labour-intensive, which puts a strain on medical staff and raises the possibility of erroneous detections. Usually, electrodes are inserted into the scalp or inside the brain for a brief period of time in order to obtain EEG data. It is essential to research efficient cross-patient automatic epilepsy detection techniques. The multi-head self-attention mechanism recognises long-distance dependencies with the same proficiency as it does temporal dynamic correlations between short-term temporal pattern characteristics and sequential relationships. The contextual representations are inputted into a bidirectional long short-term memory network (BiLSTM) so that information can be extracted in both directions. Classification and training are carried out utilising the log SoftMax algorithm. The experiments utilised scalp EEG data from the CHB-MIT database. Sensitivity, specificity, F1-score, and accuracy were computed to be 96.5 percent, 97.04 percent, 96.6 percent, and 96.2 percent, respectively. The results of the experiment show how well the technique works for detecting seizures in several patients utilising multi-channel EEG recordings. The results also demonstrate the method's improved generalisation capabilities and resilience and consistency in collecting seizure patterns. This is particularly critical for the tertiary diagnosis of epilepsy, and the findings indicate that the proposed method significantly improves the accuracy of detection. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

The Autonomous driving is the area of interest to many researchers and much has been accomplished in this area, a detailed chronology of which is provided in this paper. Autonomous cars are vehicles that are powered without any human interference using digital technologies. By sensing the environmental effects, they are able to drive themselves on the highways. They are built to take up less room on the road to prevent traffic jams and reduce the possibility of accidents. But due to many constraints like safety, unpredictable scenarios, still lack the ability to make fully automated vehicles successful. Malicious hackers may compromise hundreds or millions of machines with little effort, allowing them to shut down networks, steal sensitive data, and compromise critical infrastructure. Data is stolen and used for malicious purposes by hackers who exploit security flaws in the network. And the sophisticated technology they use, like the bucks they do, are continually feeding them the information they needed, not just once. Moreover, even if Internet firewalls have improved, cybercrime has been on the rise. Then, we have a long way to go before we approach the limit, what with all the different kinds of cloud server devices that can connect to the internet nowadays. It's certain that in the future, little devices, no matter how helpful they are really in our everyday lives, will become the preferred tool of villains. In this research, we offer a novel security technique for protecting sensitive data on cloud servers. This intelligent cloud server was protected from any hacking with the aid of this algorithm. The system's output was measured against those of pre-existing algorithms. More than 96% of inputs are authenticated by the proposed technique, while password cracking operations are reduced by about 3%. The source code security management is improved to 99% and the updating issues for various devices entries is reduced 0.02%, and further the privacy breach is reduced up to 0.32%. Hence the proposed method was more secured from cyber security issues. © 2023 IEEE.

Chain-of-Thought (CoT) reasoning has emerged as a promising approach for enhancing the performance of large language models (LLMs) on complex reasoning tasks. Recently, a series of studies attempt to explain the mechanisms underlying CoT, aiming to deepen the understanding of its efficacy. Nevertheless, the existing research faces two major challenges: (1) a lack of quantitative metrics to assess CoT capabilities and (2) a dearth of guidance on optimizing CoT performance. Motivated by this, in this work, we introduce a novel reasoning boundary framework (RBF) to address these challenges. To solve the lack of quantification, we first define a reasoning boundary (RB) to quantify the upper-bound of CoT and establish a combination law for RB, enabling a practical quantitative approach applicable to various real-world CoT tasks. To address the lack of optimization, we propose three categories of RBs. We further optimize these categories with combination laws focused on RB promotion and reasoning path optimization for CoT improvement. Through extensive experiments on 27 models and 5 tasks, the study validates the existence and rationality of the proposed framework. Furthermore, it explains the effectiveness of 10 CoT strategies and guides optimization from two perspectives. This study uses Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to construct an automated parasite identification method in blood smear pictures, addressing the urgent need for accurate and easy malaria diagnosis. We use secondary data collected from several datasets, utilizing an interpretive mindset, a deductive technique, as well as a descriptive research strategy. Technical considerations such as architecture selection, data preparation, and interpretability approaches are carefully taken into account when perfecting the CNN model. The model's effectiveness has been demonstrated by results showing excellent sensitivity (95%) and specificity (92%) in parasite identification. Techniques for visualization make regions of interest clearer, increasing confidence and transparency. Testing for generalizability shows consistent results across several datasets and demographic groupings. The CNN-based methodology performs better than traditional microscopy and quick diagnostic tests when compared to current approaches, especially in situations of low parasitemia. With implications for improvements in healthcare delivery in malaria-endemic areas, this research advances automated malaria diagnosis. © 2023 IEEE.

computer tomography (CT), also known as computed tomography, is a medical imaging method that generates detailed and precise horizontal or axial images of targeted regions of the body for diagnostic purposes. In this particular study, the focus was on performing image classification of CT scan images of the Kidney. This organ plays an essential role in detoxification, fluid balance, and maintaining electrolyte levels in the human body. The dataset used for the study contained 12,446 images into four labeled classes - Cyst, Tumor, Stone, and Normal. Convolution Neural Network (CNN) model is built for binary (Normal and Tumor) and multi-image Classification to classify the Renal CT images into four classes. CNN uses ReLU as an activation function for classifying these images. The Model is evaluated and compared based on Accuracy and Loss performance metrics by compiling the CNN model with different deep learning TensorFlow Keras optimizers for Version 2.11.0 for Binary Image Classification at 10,20, and 50 epochs. The CNN model is assembled with Adam Optimizer and Follows the Regularized Leader (FTRL) Optimizer. The Testing and training Accuracy and Losses achieved are evaluated with a learning rate of 0.001 and 0.0001. Adam Optimizer outperforms to be the best Optimizer for Binary and Multi-Image Classification. © 2023 IEEE.

Cricket is one of the famous international sports where both teams select their best eleven against each other from the available pool of players usually a total size of 15 to 16. The team selection process is usually performed by the coaches using their observation and consultations etc. In simple words, by looking at the possible combinations of opposite sides, the best possible combinations are suggested. In our work, we tried to automate this process using machine learning models like Support Vector Regressor, Linear Regression Random Forest regressor etc. To train and test the model, the data was crawled from the Indian Premier League (IPL), which follows 20 over format and data for more than 10 seasons is used. More importantly, multiple related features for batters and bowlers were accumulated to develop all possible combinations for each playing team in a single match. In total, we selected 4 different teams and developed three combinations for each. Then, in a single match between two teams, the combinations were compared based upon accumulative score e.g., matching scores for different combinations are compared with ground truth. In our opinion, this is one of the unique contributions made for automated team selection in cricket specific to the format and encompassing performance indicators not only accumulated from IPL but also from the International Cricket Council (ICC). © 2024 IEEE.
