Cross-resolution person re-identification(CR-ReID) seeks to overcome the challenge of retrieving and matching specific person images across cameras with varying resolutions. Numerous existing studies utilize established CNNs and ViTs models to resize captured low-resolution (LR) images and align them with high-resolution (HR) image features. However, these methods overlook the potential feature connections between LR and HR images. Consequently, CNNs or ViTs tend to highlight outliers rather than the intended characteristics in LR image attention maps. In this work, we propose the abnormal feature elimination and reconfiguration transformer (ART) network, a novel network architecture, for robust cross-resolution person re-identification tasks. Our proposed method uses a resolution feature discriminator to learn resolution invariant features and outputs feature matrices of images with different resolutions. We utilize output feature matrices to model LR and HR image interactions through cross-resolution landmark agent attention. We aim to mitigate abnormal image features and prioritize the attention on the target person by learning representations from input images of various resolutions. Extensive evaluations on three real-world datasets confirm the excellent results of our approach. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's digital landscape, securing sensitive information has become an essential priority in the modern digital era for both individuals and organizations. This project introduces a comprehensive web application that integrates advanced encryption and decryption functionalities alongside multifactor authentication (MFA) and secure payment processing. The application supports various cryptographic algorithms, including AES, DES, Triple DES, Blowfish, etc., allowing users to securely encrypt and decrypt data through dedicated routes accessed over secure HTTPS connections. To further enhance security, robust multi-factor authentication mechanisms, such as OTP-based challenge-response and QR-code-enabled 2FA, have been implemented to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive operations. The platform also incorporates PGP encryption powered by Keybase, enabling users to securely exchange encrypted emails. Additionally, a secure payment gateway is integrated using Stripe, ensuring sensitive payment data is encrypted and handled safely. With a strong focus on data integrity, user privacy, and modern web security standards, this project delivers an all-encompassing solution for safeguarding sensitive information and facilitating secure communication. By addressing common vulnerabilities and security risks, the platform stands as a reliable and scalable tool for data protection.

Today, many students are having a hard time learning to speak the English language and the problem is even worse for those in rural areas, where both teachers and resources are rare. We are trying to break this disparity and provide better resources for those in need utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to contribute to the SDG4 Quality and Inclusive Education. In this paper, we present the idea of how we developed Chatbot named BuddyBot Utilizing OpenAI Generative Pre-Trained Transformer 2 (GPT-2) and Google Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (FLAN-T5) models. This system incorporates diverse datasets for fine-tuning and specialized tasks in English language learning. BuddyBot follows a five-phase architecture - User interface, Pre-processing, Natural Language Processing (NLP) stack, language generation engine and adaptive learning personalization. The E-Learn web-based interface offers interactive courses with BuddyBot assistance, emphasizing adaptive learning personalization. Dataset preprocessing includes tokenization, sentiment analysis, and specialized formatting. The NLP stack integrates GPT-2 and FLAN-T5 models into the framework, maintaining dialogue structure and personalization. Validation tests reveal model effectiveness, with reduced training loss (0.778 to 0.414 by epoch 8) and increased accuracy (0.810 training, 0.792 validation). Overall, BuddyBot's robust methodology and validation results showcase its efficacy in providing personalized English language learning experiences.

The human brain has a simple time analyzing and processing images. The brain is able to rapidly deconstruct and distinguish an image's various components when the eye perceives it. With the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as its foundation, this research suggests deep learning conceptual models. When the algorithms are compared, it becomes clear that CNN-based classification of handwritten alphabets performs better than other algorithms in terms of accuracy. The Manual Net, Alex Net, and LeNet Architectures are among the CNN algorithms employed in this research. The convulational layer, max pooling, flattening, feature assortment, rectifier lined unit, and completely linked softmaxx layers are each components of the aforementioned designs. The proposed network is tested using an image dataset comprising 530 training photos and 2756 testing images. The top precision and cost-efficient model will be used in the Django context to build a handler line for supplying the appeal to be recognized and obtaining the productivity outcome of recognized appeal.

Real-world graphs exhibit diverse structures, including homophilic and heterophilic patterns, necessitating the development of a universal Graph Contrastive Learning (GCL) framework. Nonetheless, the existing GCLs, especially those with a local focus, lack universality due to the mismatch between the input graph structure and the homophily assumption for two primary components of GCLs. Firstly, the encoder, commonly Graph Convolution Network (GCN), operates as a low-pass filter, which assumes the input graph to be homophilic. This makes it challenging to aggregate features from neighbor nodes of the same class on heterophilic graphs. Secondly, the local positive sampling regards neighbor nodes as positive samples, which is inspired by the homophily assumption. This results in feature similarity amplification for the samples from the different classes (i.e., FALSE positive samples). Therefore, it is crucial to feed the encoder and positive sampling of GCLs with homophilic graph structures. This paper presents a novel GCL framework, named gRaph cOntraStive Exploring uNiversality (ROSEN), designed to achieve this objective. Specifically, ROSEN equips a local graph structure inference module, utilizing the Block Diagonal Property (BDP) of the affinity matrix extracted from node ego networks. This module can generate the homophilic graph structure by selectively removing disassortative edges. Extensive evaluations validate the effectiveness and universality of ROSEN across node classification and node clustering tasks. © 2024 ACM.

Despite an emerging interest in fluid manipulation within confined environment such as biological cells and micro-scale biomimics, remotely controllable micro-scale flow remains unexplored. However, intracellular microfluidics is not compatible with established top-down microfluidic methods because of limited accessibility. Here, we demonstrate photoresponsive DNA fluid, condensate of DNA nanostructures (DNA motifs), as a versatile mechanistic tool for the remote control of microflow. Insertion site of azobenzene, introduced for photocontrollability, determines an extent of dynamic shift in binding enthalpy between DNA motifs, providing the underpinning mechanism for drastic and facile flow-mode switching. © 2022 MicroTAS 2022 - 26th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life sciences. IoT devices, constrained by limited resources and weak security measures, are highly vulnerable to malware at- tacks. This review examines malware detection methods using textual, visual, and network traffic features, with experiments fo- cused on network traffic data. Feature extraction techniques such as correlation analysis, eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost), and the Firefly algorithm were applied to machine learning models, including logistic regression, random forest, Adaptive Boosting(AdaBoost), and perceptron. Results highlight the poten- tial of these approaches for resource-constrained environments.

Assessment of student responses during viva examinations presents challenges in terms of consistency, objectivity, and efficiency. Traditional methods rely on manual evaluation, which can be lengthy and prone to human bias. To address this, machine learning techniques are applied to automatically evaluate student confidence levels based on their oral responses. Student answers are transformed into numerical features using word embeddings such as TF-IDF, RoBERTa, BERT, GloVe, T5, GPT-2, FastText, and SBERT. A variety of machine learning classifiers, including MLP, AdaBoost, and Logistic Regression, were used to classify answers into confidence levels: weak, moderate, and strong. Among these, MLP with GloVe embedding models yielded the best results, achieving a test accuracy of 76%, an F1-score of 76%, and minimal overfitting with a training-test performance gap of 4%. These results demonstrate the strong potential of ML-based systems in improving automated grading and ensuring reliability and scalability in evaluating student responses. © 2025 IEEE.

Wireless sensor network (WSN) contains millions of small, low-power gadgets with a lack of resources are memory and battery power. Such gadgets were deployed in a dispersed manner and were often utilized to monitor and sense applications. Owing to constraints and limited resources of WSNs, routing can be a great difficulty. Routing in WSN was the process of choosing the optimal path for data to travel from a source node to a destination node. The goal of routing in WSN offer dependable and effective transmission while minimizing network overhead and energy consumption. This study designs an Energy Efficient Colliding Bodies Optimization based Routing Protocol (EECBO-RP) for WSN. The end goal of the EECBO-RP algorithm lies in the optimal election of routes to a destination. For achieving reasonable results for the minimization of energy exploitation, the EECBO-RP system derives the fitness function using the following variables: residual energy, distance to BS, and node degree. The EECBO-RP technique chooses the relay nodes so that a way that the overall efficiency of the WSN gets maximized. The simulation values of the EECBO-RP system are tested under several dimensions and the outcomes pointed out the betterment of the EECBO-RP technique. © 2023 IEEE.

Collection of waste is one of the important goals of Waste Management Unit (WMU), where collecting waste decreases the amount of time, expenses, and the impact of waste collectors on the environment. The work is to create a set of routes for waste collection that will take minimal time to get through several collection centers given the capabilities of the collection vehicles, and road systems and traffic conditions. For waste collection points, ten major stations in Bengaluru were selected along with the disposal point. For this purpose, several algorithms such as Dijkstra's Algorithm, Bellman-Ford Algorithm, Floyd-Warshall Algorithm, Johnson's Algorithm, Nearest Neighbour Algorithm, and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) were designed and evaluated. Algorithms were measured based on parameters such as the time taken, the fuel consumed, the CO2 produced, the effectiveness of the trip that was made. The theoretical and applied objectives of the project correlate with the goals of the integration of improved optimization possibilities with operational issues with the purpose of defining such effective methods in relation to the containment of fuel consumption, the decrease in emissions and the waste management optimization in the urban environment.
