The palm oil business employs almost 20 million people, generates UsD 21 billion in revenue, and plays a vital role in Indonesia’s social economy. The Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) to Palm Oil Mills (POM) distribution system is one important aspect of fruit quality. Three steps are involved in getting Oil Palm FFB from the plantation to the POM. The first part of the procedure involves cutting FFB from the tree, the second stage involves gathering the fruit at a fruit collection point (FCP), and the third stage involves transporting the fruit to the palm oil mill (POM). As of now, the cost of the FFB transportation is still considerable, accounting for roughly 15% to 20% of the FFB pricing. The use of the Business Intelligence (BI) idea in the oil palm harvesting system is presented in this study as a foundation for creating web-based applications.

Accurate quantification of intraoperative blood loss is crucial for enhancing patient safety and the success rate of surgeries. Traditional estimation techniques, mainly reliant on visual assessments, are prone to significant inaccuracies due to their subjective nature. This study introduces MDCare, an innovative deep learning-integrated system designed to substantially improve the precision of blood loss quantification using surgical sponges. By integrating advanced hardware components, including a mass sensor and webcam, with sophisticated algorithms like ResNet-18 and YOLOv4, MDCare achieves classification accuracy up to 96.2% and sponge detection accuracies above 91% for both synthetic and real blood scenarios. The system processes images at 7.4 frames per second, aligning with the exigent pace of surgical environments, thereby supporting surgeons with real-time, accurate blood loss data essential for timely and informed decision-making. The contributions of the paper are: (1) Demonstrating the application of advanced machine learning models in a critical clinical setting, achieving significantly higher accuracy in blood loss estimation compared to traditional methods;(2) Validating the system's efficacy in real-time surgical environments, thereby enhancing the decision-making process and potentially reducing postoperative complications;(3) setting a new standard in surgical care by integrating a complex system into real-world clinical workflows, showcasing its adaptability and potential for widespread adoption. Future work will focus on expanding the dataset and refining the algorithms to ensure the MDCare system's robustness and adaptability across surgical settings. The findings underscore the potential of MDCare to automate and refine critical aspects of surgery, marking a significant advancement in surgical care. © 2024 IEEE.

The Mekong River Basin (MRB) is one of the highest biodiversity areas in the world and is the vital source of livelihoods for more than 60 millions of people over six countries in southeast Asia. However, it is suffering from a severe sediment starvation problem caused by climate change and human activities, particularly dam constructions. Understanding long-term sediment changes thus plays a crucial role for management and contingency plans. Current sediment concentration data in the MRB are extremely sporadic, making it a non-trivial task to analyze them. This paper focuses on the sediment reconstruction to provide long-term reliable suspended sediment concentration (ssC) data using Machine Learning (ML) perspectives. In particular, a novel semi-supervised ML model, which can effectively deal with data sparsity, is introduced to predict/reconstruct missing sediment data. The key idea of this approach is to exploit abundant available hydroclimate data to reduce training overfitting rather than solely relying on sediment concentration data, thus enhancing the accuracy of the employed ML models. Extensive experiments on data obtained from 1979 to 2019 at the three main stations (i.e., Chiang saen, Nong Khai, and Mukdahan) are conducted to demonstrate the performances of the proposed method compared to other state-of-the-art supervised techniques and traditional simulation methods commonly used in previous sediment forecasting/reconstruction studies. To the best of our knowledge, this approach is the first semi-supervised method to reconstruct sediment data in the field. Though this study focuses on the MRB, sediment sparsity is a very common problem in other river systems worldwide. Thus, this method can be widely applied for them for more effective sediment reconstruction/prediction in general. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this study, we used a compound vision card consisting of Howell's and Thorington's vision card on both sides, and placed a prism or a Maddox 's lens in the left eye of the subjects to establish the subjective measurement technique of heterophoria. When a prism with 6 prism diopters and the base upward was placed in front of the left eye of the subject to look at the front of the compound vision card at 45 cm, it was observed that the Howell vision card was separated into two vision cards. After confirming the relative position of the point of the upper and lower vision cards, the subject move the paddle on the measuring device to make the paddle overlap the point of the upper vision card, judge the left and right directions of the point and read number of the horizontal base line, and then measure the line of sight deviation of the near horizontal heterophoria. In this study, 5 subjects with normal vision were tested with von Graefe, Howell and This innovative device for near distance horizontal esotropia. The test results showed that 85% of the subjects were exotropia, and the difference of the three measurements was within one prism diopter (±1Δ). It is proved that the reliability of the measuring device is excellent. © 2021 IEEE.

Objective: The goal of this paper is to provide a consensus review on telehealth delivery prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic to develop a set of recommendations for designing telehealth services and tools that contribute to system resilience and equitable health. Methods: The IMIA-Telehealth Working Group (WG) members conducted a two-step approach to understand the role of telehealth in enabling global health equity. We first conducted a consensus review on the topic followed by a modified Delphi process to respond to four questions related to the role telehealth can play in developing a resilient and equitable health system. Results: Fifteen WG members from eight countries participated in the Delphi process to share their views. The experts agreed that while telehealth services before and during COVID-19 pandemic have enhanced the delivery of and access to healthcare services, they were also concerned that global telehealth delivery has not been equal for everyone. The group came to a consensus that health system concepts including technology, financing, access to medical supplies and equipment, and governance capacity can all impact the delivery of telehealth services. Conclusion: Telehealth played a significant role in delivering healthcare services during the pandemic. However, telehealth delivery has also led to unintended consequences (UICs) including inequity issues and an increase in the digital divide. Telehealth practitioners, professionals and system designers therefore need to purposely design for equity as part of achieving broader health system goals. © 2022 IMIA and Georg Thieme Verlag KG.

Introduction: In recent times, there has been a noticeable surge in the usage of artificial intelligence, including ChatGPT and other types, in the field of health sciences education. In this regard, an exploratory bibliometric study was carried out to examine the utilization of smart conversational agents, ChatGPT, and artificial intelligence bots in medical education. Methods: A retrospective, observational, cross-sectional bibliometric analysis was employed to assess the scientific publications listed in scopus. This study was conducted on March 11, 2023 in search for information in scopus. A total of 220 relevant documents were identified that were available in the scopus database during the period between 2017 and 2022. Elsevier's sciVal software was used. subsequently, statistical tables and graphs were prepared for presentation in Bibliometrix software. Results: Among the authors, Timothy W. Bickmore, from the United states, has the highest number of publications (10) and citations received (172), and an h-index of 45, suggesting a significant influence in the field of study. The subcategory with the highest academic output is Health Informatics with 133 publications, while Geriatrics and Gerontology has the least with only 3. Most of the analyzed publications (44.2%) originated from collaborations within the same country. Notably, the swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and Imperial College London stood out with 12 publications each that received over 200 citations indicating their significant impact on their respective fields. Despite having the highest number of academic publications (15), Brazil had a relatively low field-weighted citation impact (0.64) and received the lowest number of citations (81). A clustering analysis was performed on a sample of 10 concepts using 2 dimensions. The results indicated that all terms were part of the same cluster. Digital Terrain Models (DTM) and Digital Elevation Models (DEM) are important for obtaining the Index of Connectivity, as they provide valuable information to assess the possibility of sediments reaching the riverbed in watershed basins. This is crucial for proactive management, as it allows the adoption of preventive and mitigating measures. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the spatial resolution of DEMs with resolutions of 5 m and 2 m, and between the DTM and DEM at 2 m, in determining the Index of Connectivity (IC). Additionally, it was investigated whether it is possible to use only one spatial resolution of digital models to assess the geospatial distribution of IC for all hydrogeomorphological landscapes of the Duas Bocas River watershed, located in the Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitória, in the state of Espírito santo, southeast Brazil. For this study, the Borselli Index of Connectivity model (et al., 2008) was used, originally developed for rural areas of Italy and widely applied in different regions worldwide. The data used, including Digital Elevation and Terrain Models and land use and cover information, were obtained from the Integrated Geospatial Base system of the state of Espírito santo (Brazil), which is publicly *** results indicate that a better geospatial representation of IC occurs when changing the spatial resolution of DEMs from a 5 m pixel to a 2 m pixel and when using the 2 m DTM instead of the 2 m DEM. When analyzing the relationship between IC and the hydrogeomorphological landscapes in the basin, it was observed that, in the absence of models with an even finer pixel resolution, the 2 m DTM is the most suitable option, as it presented IC values consistent within and between landscapes in the Escalated Terraces of southern Espírito santo, Coastal Hills and Massifs, and Coastal Plateaus sectors. The Indonesian government has implemented E-Rapor to be employed in Indonesia since 2016. During 2016 until 2022 the usage of E-Rapor has identified some risk issues from the school perspective. Therefore, this research aims to identify the risk of the usage of E-Rapor. The research method for this study is to use a case in one of the public high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. The usage of E-Rapor started in 2016. The E-Rapor system’s objective is to give easy access to students’ result data (evaluation card) to the central government (DAPODIK), school principals, teachers, and student’s parents. However, the implementation of the E-Rapor system has created some risk However, implementing E-Rapor in schools has created issues among teachers. Therefore, this research proposes a study to identify the risk of the E-Raport system adopting COBIT 2019. The risk profiles are identified only on the governing E-Rapor in school. The case study research was conducted in sMAN 61 Jakarta. The result shows that types of risks that occur in High school are lack of IT Expertise, lack of standard Operating Procedures, and issues with E-Rapor usage. After recognizing the risk, this study also proposes a strategy for overcoming the risk. The High school needs to be concerned on the area of Managing Human Resources (APO7), Domain Dss03 (Managing Issues), and Domain Dss05 (Managing security services)

Global warming due to excessive emission greenhouse gases is a significant issue faced by humanity, and collectively, cars and trucks contribute about 20% to the entire global-warming gases. For a reason, recently, many attempts have been endured to reduce the emission and to increase fuel efficiency, including vehicle platooning, better driving strategy, and increasing engine efficiency. This study intends to provide a more detail assessment regarding the effects of the driving strategy to fuel consumption. For the purpose, the vehicle dynamics are quantified by employing the car-following model based on the optimal velocity model. The fuel consumption is estimated from the regression model of Ahn 18 . The result suggests that the braking distance strongly affects fuel consumption.

Classification of the structural Integrity by the General Vibration Method

Traditionally, for the purpose of classifying the integrity of an engineering structure, one may use the information of the natural frequencies or mode shapes or some other measures derived from the two. In this research, we propose a classification method on the basis of the general vibration model. The general vibration model is essentially a set of differential equations describing the dynamics of the structure under consideration. For the purpose of damage detection, a deviation of the general vibration model from the dynamic equilibrium point marks the occurrence of the damage. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the method, we study two simplest dynamical systems consisting of one- and two-concentrated masses subjected to a prescribed dynamic load. The structural damages are introduced artificially by reducing the stiffness of spring in the structures. We find that the general vibration model is more sensitive to damages than the traditional methods.
