Internet of Things (IoT) is gaining much popularity nowadays, especially in the field of healthcare, where different wearables, sensors and data analysis-based systems are connected together. This research work proposes an IoT-based system/application dedicated for continuous monitoring of the patient’s health parameters and vital signs. The designed application can be used by both the patient and the doctor as the doctor can track the patient’s parameters remotely in real-time to facilitate the diagnosis and to early detect patient’s health deterioration. It also enables patients to spend more time in the comfort of their own homes and communicate with their care facilities, aiming to improve the patient’s independent living and support activities of daily life. The biosensors in the smart watch or the mobile phone are utilized to measure the health parameters of the patient, which are then used by the devloped application for further processing, analysis and efficient visualization using charts and diagrams. A notification is sent to the monitoring doctor to facilitate rapid response once any of the patient’s vital signs exceeds the normal range. The developed application could be integrated within an existing hospital system or could be made available to individuals/patients via smartphones for providing support at *** Relevance: Doctors are always in need to have exact health information for their patients to receive care and therapy in a timely manner. The task of ongoing monitoring of patients’ vital signs is carried out by nurses in the interim, but the availability of a skilled and sizable team of nurses is a major concern. Thus, we propose an efficient continuous monitoring system that automates and facilitates the process of remote and continuous monitoring of patients, targeting early detection of patient deterioration while supporting independent living.

One way that technology is changing the legal profession is by increasing the role of neural networks in intellectual property rights (IPR). The present status of intellectual property rights might be drastically changed if neural networks were to be used to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of copyright, patent, and trademark procedures. Neural networks have had a significant influence on several IP-related applications, such as patent analysis and search, copyright infringement detection, and trademark search. Included in the suggested method are model training, feature extraction, and pre-processing. The goal of pre-processing is to eliminate or replace irrelevant or noisy data from each tweet so that sentiment classification can proceed more effectively. Algorithms for sentiment categorization and information content analysis make up feature extraction. The training process always made use of the DGNN model. This cutting-edge approach outperforms CNN and GNN with an average accuracy of 9 1. 4 5 %. © 2024 IEEE.

In this research we aim to develop a computer-aided diagnostic system (CAD) for breast ultrasound imaging to enhance the early detection of breast cancer. CAD tools aid physicians in the diagnostic process leading to early detection and treatment of breast cancer. The proposed CAD tool comprises three stages, the first is enhancement of breast ultrasound imaging by applying custom segmentation deep learning architectures [U-Net, SK-U-Net, RDA-U-Net] to enhance the isolation of masses in Ultrasound images, then generation of new ultrasound images by employing Generative Adversarial Networks [DAGAN, DCGAN] to overcome data limitation in available data-sets, and the last stage is the detection and classification of breast cancer masses by a CNN model. The enhancement stage shows promising results with accuracy of 98 % overall accuracy, 92 % overall precision, and 85 % overall *** Relevance: Breast cancer is one of the deadly diseases in the world. The earlier the detection the higher the chances of recovery. Thus a CAD tool that facilitates the screening process of ultrasound images will aid physicians in the early detection and diagnosis of the disease.

The paper deals with change in area and structure of Iraq agricultural lands. It revealed the main reasons for the change: crisis (war, sanctions, etc.); economic (swamp and lake drainage, melioration, etc.); weather condition. Land-use intensification as a reason for reduction of agricultural land areas was not proved. The area of cultivated lands proved to correlate significantly with the level of precipitation, wheat productivity -with the average temperature in Iraq.

作者： PAIGE, KK CONVERSE, RA USN LCdr. Kathleen K. Paige USN:graduated with a BA from the University of New Hampshire in 1970. She received her commission from Officer Candidate School in April 1971 and performed her first tour of duty with VFP-63 NAS Miramar. LCdr. Paige then received her MS from the Naval Post Graduate School in June 1976 and returned to San Diego to serve as Head Support Software Division at the Fleet Combat Direction System Support Activity. In May 1981 she reported to NA VSEA (PMS-408) where she served initially as Chairman of the NAVMAT Software Engineering Environment Working Group. She has been assigned as Deputy AN/UYK-43 Acquisition Manager since October 1981. LCdr. Paige was designated a fully qualified Engineering Duty Officer in December 1983. Robert A. Converse:is presently the Acquisition Manager for the Ada Language System/Navy (ALS/N) for the Naval Sea Systems Command Tactical Embedded Computer Resources Project. As such he is responsible for the definition and development of the ALS/N to be provided as a Navy standard computer programming system for Navy mission critical applications. Mr. Converse received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Wheaton College Wheaton II. He spent fourteen years with the Naval Underwater Systems Center Newport Rhode Island during which time he designed and developed the Fortran compiler for the Navy Standard AN/UYK-7 computer. Also during that period he received a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island. His thesis for that degree was entitled “Optimization Techniques for the NUSC Fortran Cross-Compiler”. Mr. Converse started his involvement with the Ada program in 1975 with the initial “Strawman” requirements review. Subsequently he was named as the Navy Ada Distinguished Reviewer and was intimately involved in the selection and refinement of the Ada language as it evolved to become ANSI/MIL-STD-1815A.

The U.S. Navy introduced the use of digital computers in mission critical applications over a quarter of a century ago. Today, virtually every system in the current and planned Navy inventory makes extensive use of computer technology. computers embedded in mission critical Navy systems are integral to our strategic and tactical defense capabilities. Thus, the military power of the U.S. Navy is inextricably tied to the use of programmable digital computers. The computer program is the essential element that embodies the system “intelligence”. In addition, it provides the flexibility to respond to changing threats and requirements. However, this very flexibility and capability poses a host of difficulties hindering full realization of the advantages. This paper describes the lessons learned about computer program development over the past twenty five years and discusses a software engineering process that addresses these lessons. It then describes how Ada and its related Ada Programming Support and Run-Time Environments foster this software engineering process to improve computer program productivity and achieve greater system reliability and adaptibility. Finally, the paper discusses how the use of Ada and its environments can enhance the interoperability and transferability of computer programs among Navy projects and significantly reduce overall life cycle costs for Navy mission critical computer programs.

Va.His first assignment as a commissioned officer was in theUSCGC Hamiltonas a Deck Watch Officer and Electronics Material Officer. He then served as the High Endurance Cutter Representative for Electronics in the First Coast Guard District. Boston Mass. and later at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington D.C. In June 1978. he was assigned to the New Construction Section of Electronics Engineering. located in Coast Guard Headquarters. as a 270-foot WMEC Project Officer. Currently he is the Chief. New Cosntruction Section responsible for overseeing the development and installation of the 270-foot WMEC electronics package. LCdr. Hall is a graduate of Wentworth Institute Boston. Mass. and has an associate degree in Electronics Technology. Lt.(j. g.) Michael D. Anderson USCGgraduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. New London Conn. in June 1976. with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He served in theUSCGC Madronaas Deck Watch Officer. Communications Officer and Electronics Officer. In August 1977 he was assigned to the Electronics Engineering Division U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters. and until October 1978 held the Type Desk for Electronics Installations in Coast Guard Buoy Tenders Tugs and River Tenders. He is presently assigned to the Software Section. Electronics Engineering Division which is responsible for the procurement of the operational software for the 270-foot WMEC. Lt.(j. g.) Anderson currently is pursuing his Master's degree in Computer Science at The George Washington University.

The U.S. Coast Guard has undertaken a ship construction program to replace Cutters which are nearing 30 to 40 years of service. These replacement ships, classed as the 270‐foot Medium Endurance Cutters (MEC), are intended for multi mission roles to satisfy both Coast Guard and Navy requirements. To achieve the multi mission posture, and to realize a minimal manning level, an automated approach to employ the principles of a command, communication, and control system was Selected. Since the design limitations (size and weight) for the 270‐foot WMEC were stringent, the Coast Guard designed a Command, Display, and Control System (COMDAC) which incorporated the features of previous automation efforts by the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy. COMDAC's uniqueness lies in its ability to receive data, to process and format it in accordance with predetermined doctrine (Navy and Coast Guard), and then to display it at any of several locations. The use of COMDAC provides for the reduction of Plotters and Status Board Keepers and also allows for the NTDS interface to accomplish the various Navy missions. This paper will address COMDAC's utilization as a command, communication, and control system as applied to the Coast Guard and Navy missions. © 1980 American Society of Naval Engineers
