Dataset management systems are essential for assisting research and development (R&D) organizations in applying data governance protocols, especially in managing the utilization of datasets. In R&D, datasets are vital sources for producing analysis, machine learning prediction, and supporting decision-making. As such, it is important to deploy dataset management systems with considerations regarding the aspects of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) which is a design principle that emphasized information protection and collaboration facilitation among dataset users. The study proposed an analysis and a design for a dataset management system that takes CIA aspects into account. In the future, the proposed design will be utilized as a benchmark for building a dataset management system. In this study, the Waterfall method was adopted. A use case diagram, an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), and an activity diagram were constructed in the design stage. In the project implementation stage, the Laravel framework including Laravel Jetstream was considered to be used.

The background of this research is the condition of the covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on online ticket sales. Meanwhile, when future of covid-19 pandemic is starting to become clearer, we are going to have a lot more infections but hopefully a lot fewer hospitalizations, people began to travel long distances that had been delayed by implementing health protocols. Airfare competition can influence the decision to buy airline tickets. Various things have been done to attract the attention of buyers. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Population in this research was people who have purchased plane tickets online during the covid-19 pandemic, and the sample were 113 respondents age between 15 and 64. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used in this study using multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear, T-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination test. It was concluded that price, promotion, and lifestyle variables can influence online purchasing decisions.

Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are neurodevelopmental disorders that are marked by enduring difficulties with speech, nonverbal communication, and restricted or repetitive behaviors. Early detection and intervention can greatly improve outcomes for people with ASD. Recently, deep learning algorithms have been applied to aid in the early detection of ASD using facial images. In this work, modifications of the commonly used VGG16 and VGG19 models for image recognition tasks are proposed to improve the performance of detecting ASD from a child’s frontal face image. The proposed model is unique, as it alters the architecture of existing models, adds an attentional mechanism, and applys transfer learning. These changes are intended to decrease the chance of overfitting and enhance the model’s capacity to capture subtle face characteristics. The performance of the updated model is assessed through accuracy, which is 82.55% for VGG19 and 80% for VGG16 model, and contrasted the outcomes of the original model. Performance of the modified model is also compared with that of the original model. The obtained results show that the modified model outperforms in detecting ASD from facial images, suggesting that the proposed modification is non-invasive for early detection of ASD and has the potential to contribute to the development of efficient tools.

Medical image analysis is a challenging and complex field these days. This discipline focuses especially on the processing of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) images. It offers multiple methods for locating brain tumors in MRI brain images and compares the precision of all the findings. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and ResNet architectures are used to train the model. As deep learning models are highly efficient and correctly identify whether the MRI picture of a tumor is healthy or unhealthy. In this work, high-level features are extracted from the input images using the CNN architecture, which has multiple pooling layers. To create the final classification model, fully connected layers are then routed through the extracted characteristics. However, CNN has some drawbacks, and to overcome these issues, a ResNet based architecture has been used. Additionally, U-Net-based MRI brain tumor segmentation algorithms have gained popularity because they significantly improve segmentation accuracy by infusing high-level and low-level feature information via skip connections. The suitability of an attention module called Attention Gate, which was recently developed, for tasks involving the segmentation of brain tumors has also been explored in this work.

Anaerobic fermentation for hydrogen production is influenced by various environmental factors that can limit microbial activity. However, machine learning (ML) shows significant potential in explaining the complexity of biological processes. This study focuses on the application of ML in predicting hydrogen production rates (HPR) during anaerobic fermentation of biomass energy. Grey relation analysis was employed to investigate the correlation between operational parameters and HPR. Five ML algorithms, namely decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), and K-nearest neighbor (KNN), were utilized in conjunction with operating conditions and digestate characteristics as features, with HPR as the target variable. The evaluation of the models was conducted using mean squared error (MSE) and R squared (R2). Notably, butyrate, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and volatile suspended solids (VSS) were identified as key factors influencing hydrogen production during sucrose anaerobic fermentation. Among the ML algorithms tested, XGBoost achieved the highest accuracy, with an R2 value of 0.91 and an MSE of 0.0052. © 2024 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC

This study aims at identifying the effect of the millennial generation's perceptions regarding risks, security, and trust in the Internet when utilizing e-government services. A total of 291 data items were collected through online surveys and this information was analysed quantitatively with the SEM method by employing the Smart PLS application. The confidence of this generation in applications is observed to be influenced by software quality and trust in the internet, but not information quality and faith in the government. Furthermore, trust in the internet is unaffected by internal risk, while the intention to use this medium is influenced by reliance on applications and also affected user behaviour. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Maintaining a high quality of life through physical activities (PA) to prevent health decline is crucial. However, the relationship between individuals' health status, PA preferences, and motion factors is complex. PA discussions consistently show a positive correlation with healthy aging experiences, but no explicit relation to specific types of musculoskeletal exercises. Taking advantage of the increasingly widespread existence of smartphones, especially in Indonesia, this research utilizes embedded sensors for Human Activity Recognition (HAR). Based on 25 participants' data, performing nine types of selected motion, this study has successfully identified important sensor attributes that play important roles in the right and left hands for muscle strength motions as the basis for developing machine learning models with the LSTM algorithm. © 2024, CC BY-SA.

The spread of Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) in Indonesia is still relatively high and has not shown a significant decrease. One of the main reasons is due to the lack of supervision on the implementation of health protocols such as wearing masks in daily activities. Recently, state-of-The-Art algorithms were introduced to automate face mask detection. To be more specific, the researchers developed various kinds of architectures for the detection of masks based on computer vision methods. This paper aims to evaluate well-known architectures, namely the ResNet50, VGG11, InceptionV3, EfficientNetB4, and YOLO (You Only Look Once) to recommend the best approach in this specific field. By using the MaskedFace-Net dataset, the experimental results showed that the EfficientNetB4 architecture has better accuracy at 95.77% compared to the YOLOv4 architecture of 93.40%, InceptionV3 of 87.30%, YOLOv3 of 86.35%, ResNet50 of 84.41%, VGG11 of 84.38%, and YOLOv2 of 78.75%, respectively. It should be noted that particularly for YOLO, the model was trained using a collection of MaskedFace-Net images that had been pre-processed and labelled for the task. The model was initially able to train faster with pre-Trained weights from the COCO dataset thanks to transfer learning, resulting in a robust set of features expected for face mask detection and classification. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. Our study discusses the application of the perspective grid concept as the basis for the process of transforming the 2D coordinates of the image into 3D coordinates in real space for estimating the location of objects in a single image scene. In several other studies in the field of robotics, AR use methods and media in the form of a chessboard box as a reference for camera calibration and location estimation. However, it does not show accurate results for the size of objects in the room. We saw the potential areas of Alberti's perspective grid, which is often used as a reference in making sketches for the arts and various engineering fields so that they are visually precise with reality. Our study uses 6 reference points in a room arrangement with a floor grid pattern as a reference for the formation of a perspective grid. Based on the triangle comparison approach to determine the x-ordinate, the average error is 0.2193. And through 3 interpolation approaches to get the most accurate results with the Lagrange and Newton methods on the 6th order with the average difference between the actual and predicted points of 1.5 cm from the y-direction distance of the camera from 2 meters to 6.80 meters.

Industrial Control systems (ICS) automate industrial processes but also introduces cybersecurity threats. Intrusion Detection System (IDS) are crucial for detecting cyber-attacks on ICS, yet zero-day attacks are often inefficiently detecting with supervised learning. This study employs semi-supervised learning using one-class SVM, isolation forest, and Local Outlier Factor (LOF), to train IDS models. Utilizing dataset collected from a self-build virtual ICS environment, the study demonstrates the feasibility of these models in detecting common attack like Injection, ARP, and Man-in-the-Middle.
