The recommendation system is one method to know the preference consumer by showing the potential object. This recommendation also helps the consumer gets the preference object. One of the popular objects in the recommendation is anime film. In this case, we conduct research to recommend anime films based on ratings of previously watched films. Collaborative filtering is a technique that consists of calculating similarities, predictions, and recommendations. This study is taken from dataset Kaggle which consists of 73,516 users and 12,294 anime. A user's history will be matched with the whole user's history with alternating least squares (ALS) method. The anime will be recommended based on that results. This method is expected to help millions of users find the desired anime. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

As the executor of the transfer of civil servants, BKD (Badan Kepegawaian Daerah) is required for professionals in carrying out their duties in mutation positions for civil servants. This study implements a mutation system for civil servants by using Naive Bayes Classifier Algorithm. This study is implemented in Secretariat District Regency of Pelalawan, Riau Indonesia, This system uses some attributes such as age, total work period, education background and implemented on a web based application. This approach is an approximation to Bayes theorem which is the principle of statistical opportunity to combine previous knowledge with new knowledge. This system is very effective classification algorithm (get the right results) and efficient which can be a basic reason in mutation civil servants. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the era of the global village, frequent cross-border trade in goods has made container transportation a significant part in delivery of cargo. However, rollover accidents of container trucks often occur because of tall truck height, improper cargo stowage or crooked roads. Therefore, how to find the optimal center of gravity (CG) of the packed cargo remains an issue that the transportation industry should not neglect. To optimize cargo stability and reduce the incidence of rollovers, this paper proposes a genetic algorithm that scores the cargo stacking process to find the best CG of the cargo based on the CG of the vehicle. According to the deviation angle and the point closest to the best CG, we can Figure out the optimal cargo stacking method. © 2022 IEEE.

Humans are basically curious creatures. We always look for all the latest information through books or news. News usually contains tags or categories to make it easier to find similar news. It can be done manually by a human or with a machine to make it easier. Data mining techniques such as clustering and classification can be used to help the categorization process. Clustering is a technique that can be used to grouped news based on their similarity. There is some algorithm that can be used to clustering data. One of them is Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). ACO is a metaheuristic algorithm that mimics how ants bring food to the colony. ACO also can be used to solve the clustering problem. In this paper, we will use the ACO version for clustering to cluster news and find the performance of the said method. Airport runway designs must consider wind climatology to reduce the potential for crosswind and tailwind events that can cause accidents and aircraft delays. The large potential of crosswind and tailwind on a runway at the airport is very detrimental to aircraft passengers and airlines. Therefore, it is necessary to know the potential of crosswind and tailwind on the runway of Soekarno Hatta Airport and find the right parameters for the approximate direction and speed of the wind on the airport runway. Analysis was carried out using the direction and wind speed data from the Soekarno Hatta meteorological station in 2007-2017 to determine the potential for crosswind and tailwind on the runway of Soekarno Hatta airport and run a Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) weather model to determine the parameterization of the right weather model for wind forecast at Soekarno Hatta airport. The highest maximum crosswind component in the 2007-2017 period occurred in August 30.53 knots, while the highest maximum tailwind of 25 knots occurred in January for a 250-degree runway and 24 knots occurred in August for a 070-degree runway. The potential for crosswind and tailwind is different every month. The scheme produces forecasts of wind direction and speed with a strong level of correlation with observations of wind direction and speed from the Soekarno Hatta meteorological station, the correlation value is 0.61. The most significant social impact of plane delays is time loss for passengers. While the economic impact on one of the crosswind events at Soekarno Hatta airport was an economic loss for one airline of US $ 43,392. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Malaria is a communicable disease with half of the global population at risk due to its high morbidity and mortality rates. A massive number of studies are dedicated to malaria research, so it plays a key role in formulating the proper prevention strategy and effective malaria treatment. With the overwhelming number of updated publications in the field, an unsupervised text mining approach such as topic modeling may provide an alternative method for the malaria researcher to keep pace with new insights. In this work, we collect metadata of malaria publications from the PubMed database to perform BERT-based topic modeling to find well-defined topics regarding malaria research. The method is largely based on the popular BERTopic pipeline. We compare the performance of three different language models to generate document embeddings from the data. The dimension reduction and the density-based clustering algorithm are used to cluster the embeddings. The topic representation is computed based on the semantic similarity of the class TF-IDF representation. The substance of the resulting topics is then manually annotated based on the top words of each topic. We demonstrate that by merging initial topics into larger topics using hierarchical clustering and manual content-based examination, the evaluated coherence measure can be further improved, thus enhancing the topic's interpretability. Our modeling result is able to extract ten major topics recurring in the malaria research publication published from 2017–2022. The result provides preliminary insight to understand the dynamics and patterns of malaria research over the years

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a type of diabetes mellitus that attacks the retina of the eye. DR will cause patients to experience blindness slowly. Generally, DR can be detected by using a special instrument called an ophthalmoscope to view the inside of the eyeball. However, in conditions where there is a very small difference between the normal image and the DR image, computer-based assistance is needed for maximizing image reading value. In this research, a method of image quality improvement will be carried out which will then be integrated with a classification algorithm based on deep learning. The results of image improvement using Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) shows that the average accuracy of the method on several models is very competitive, 91% for the VGG16 model, 95% for InceptionV3, and 97% for EfficientNet compared to the results original image which only has an accuracy of 87% for VGG16 model, 90% for InceptionV3 model, and 95% for EfficientNet. However, in ResNet34 better accuracy is obtained in the original image with an accuracy of 95% while in the CLAHE image the accuracy value is only 84%. The results of this comprehensive evaluation and recommendation of famous backbone networks can be useful in the computer-aided diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy.

In smart factories, an increasing number of mobile intelligent devices are deployed to meet the growing demands for flexible manufacturing. These devices, equipped with various sensors, synchronize a substantial amount of data with cloud servers for real-time monitoring and control. Fifth generation mobile networks (5G) combined with multi-access edge computing (MEC) provide the capabilities for multiple connections, large-scale data transmission, and efficient response times, becoming the mainstream network architectures for the needs. Additionally, with the emerging trend of energy-saving, recent works have addressed energy consumption as a significant cost factor. However, most previous studies tended to focus solely on cloud servers, neglecting energy consumption at edge computing and underestimating the impact of heterogeneous mobile device. As the scope of smart factory networks continues to expand, the challenges become increasingly critical. This study presents a private 5G MEC system architecture tailored for smart panel factories. The concerned problem is formulated as an integer programming model, which determines deployment locations and quantities for MEC servers and 5G small cells, including picocells and femtocells, so as to minimize the overall deployment costs while meeting the constraints of connectivity, capacity, latency, coverage, serviceability, and energy consumption. Since the edge server deployment problem is NP-hard, this study further proposes a hybrid metaheuristic algorithm, CSAVNS, which combines the strengths of crow search algorithm (CSA) and variable neighborhood search (VNS). In the global search phase of CSA, the VNS local search is introduced to enhance the algorithm's capabilities. Experimental analysis demonstrates that the proposed CSAVNS outperforms other algorithms in terms of solution solving capabilities. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

Computable analysis extends classical computability theory to continuous domains, investigating the computability and complexity of problems in mathematical analysis. In this paper, we develop a framework for analyzing the complexity of mathematical problems across various fields by constructing highly efficient many-one reductions. For example, we show that the equivalence-to-identically-zero-function problem is reducible to determining whether the Jacobian determinant of a set of functions is identically zero, whether a Fredholm integral equation of the first kind has no eigenvalue, whether a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind has a trivial solution, whether the gradient of a function is identically zero, whether all finite orbits are closed in a given potential, and whether the Poisson bracket of two functions vanishes. Building on prior undecidability and productiveness (a stronger form of non-recursive enumerability) results for the equivalence-to-identically-zero-function problem, we establish that these problems are productive for specific classes of elementary functions. Furthermore, we explore potential approaches for applying classical complexity classes, such as NP, PSPACE, and EXPTIME, to computable analysis by leveraging the efficiency of our reductions. Our results provide a unified proof technique for analyzing complexity across different scientific domains, offering a practical extension of computational complexity theory to continuous mathematical structures. © 2025, The Authors. E-learning was disrupted by a new concept of education named microlearning that carried various digital learning materials in convenient learning paths that were customizable according to users' necessity by using digital application. The competitive advantage of microlearning has been published but caused ubiquitous bias definition. This study aims to identify and analyze fundamental components of existing microlearning research and implementations in e-learning platforms. 42 research articles from SCOPUS database were collected from 2018 to 2022. They were reviewed to discover fundamental components of microlearning that must be considered in its implementations. The result of this study uncovered “Content's variety” the most fundamental components. In contrast, this study finds that advance technology is the least discussed but required in supporting specific usage of microlearning. Limitation of this study lies on the determination of database and keyword usage and the methodology. This study recommends to consider combination of microlearning components to concept a specialized microlearning for sustainable quality education.
