Traffic Violation Detection system using radio frequency identification (RFID) has been applied to detect vehicles with limited power sources through RFID Tag. Camera sensors are also applied to identify a vehicle and its plate number through image and video processing known as computer vision. On the other hand, vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) to gain information about location, speed, and so on through the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) connection. Lastly, the internet-of-things that is backed-up by cloud computing helps to store various information from each of these technologies and process them to get results. Many researchers have proposed and developed algorithms or technology with astonishing experimental results of them. However, there has been no review of the integration and reporting mechanism that correlates them. There has also been no review about how to connect the information to the authority and violator. Therefore, the review was made to explain each technology's method with their experiment's results and issues. Moreover, the future challenge also had been given to further research. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Weighted Longest Increasing Subsequence (WLIS) and its improvement, Best Increasing Subsequence (BIS) are two methods that has been proposed for pair verification in object instance recognition using local features. Tested on the Stanford Mobile Visual Dataset (SMVS), the BIS achieves better performance than WLIS on most categories, except for the 'video frames' category. In this paper we propose several modifications to BIS which resulted in a better overall performance compared to the WLIS and the basic BIS approaches. On average, the proposed Best Score Increasing Subsequence (BSIS) performs 4.53% better than the BIS and 9.43% better than the WLIS. © 2019 IEEE.

Employee mobility is an important issue for companies that have a goal to become global company. The company often asks the employees to do some assignments outside the office area, either inside or outside of their home country. A portable virtual private network (VPN) is a device that enables the employees to perform remote access connection to internal computer resources via internet. Therefore, the employee can still work on their assignments in company server while doing business travelling. In this paper, the secure and low power portable VPN prototype is being proposed. The prototype of the VPN portable gateway device is built using OpenVPN-R core applications that are modified from OpenVPN version 2.3.10 with OpenSSL version 1.0.2h. It is implemented into a single board computer (SBC) Raspberry Pi 3 Model B +. The modification performed in this system is the inclusion of Rabbit stream cipher algorithm to OpenSSL as one of the alternative options of TLS ciphersuites on OpenVPN. The prototype portable VPN gateway device generated from this research has Rabbit ciphersuites, platform independent, and has additional features inbuilt firewall. The simulation results show that the proposed prototype can perform secure data transfer. On the other hand the proposed Rabbit stream cipher algorithm shows better performance than other algorithm in terms of data transfer rate, CPU utilization, and memory usage which leads to smaller power consumption. © 2018 The Authors. Most organizations today are beginning to shift from manual document management into a document management system (DMS), which is more reliable and efficient. Many benefits can be gained from the use of DMS such as document management become better and more efficient. However, DMS will not improve the performance of document management if it is not used appropriately. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of the acceptance of the use of DMS. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) used in this study to determine the acceptance of DMS usage. Samples were taken from 50 employees who have access to the DMS. Data samples are analyzed with Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS 3.0. The results showed that acceptance of DMS depends on perceived ease of use that influence usefulness of DMS and led to the acceptance of DMS. © 2018 IEEE.

Evaluation is the best way to refine a service quality. Quality of service will have an effect on the accomplishment of an organization's aim. Suitable and precise evaluation model will help the vocational high school in arranging a master plan to enhance the quality of education services provided. Kirkpatrick's model became the fundamental framework in this case study. This model was usually utilized to evaluate the impact of corporate training to the development of staff and also the impact to organization performance. In this paper, we perform case study for one of the vocational high school in Jakarta. There is a concern from the school about how to conduct evaluation of the teaching activity, students performance, and institution performance. In this paper, we propose a web-based e-learning system using Kirkpatrick evaluation model to solve this problem. We built the e-learning application using codeigniter framework. From the result, it can be seen that the developed system can provide platform for the school to evaluate the quality of teaching activity based on the students feedback, evaluate the performance of students after attending class, and also evaluate how the trend of institution performance year by year. © 2018 IEEE.

Currently, digital online music increase significantly, both in terms of content and users. Increasing the number of digital music content every month conduce a lot of song catalog data and becoming unstructured and making it difficult for users to choose the songs they want to listen to. To make it easier for users to optimize a large number of subscribed music catalogs, a user-centric music recommendation system is needed that allows users to be able to manage catalogs of digital music content according to their needs. This study examines how to implement song recommendation system using collaborative filtering method in digital online music. This study uses 20,000 users, 6,000 songs and 470,000 transactions rating. Through those research, it is discovered that user-based collaborative technique that could make one system for clients will gather those playlist they really want to hear. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery

The current application sales distribution is still not effective because the officer in the field cannot open the application and still use manual note for distribution sales activities. To overcome this, there is need for development to the mobile application. Sales Distribution Activity Tracking System Using Mobile Location Based Services considered very suitable for developing a web application sales distribution. Applications will be installed on android mobile devices associated with databases and servers equipped with the notification. With this application, field officers can input transactions through its android mobile devices. This research will design and build mobile applications sales distribution on smartphone android based. Applications built using Waterfall process model with development programming language C #, SQLite database and use software Xamarin Studio IDE. These applications can run on smartphone with android version 5.0 to 6.0. The results of this study have designed and built an applications that can be used by the company for better process management of the sales distribution and can find sales reports are up to date. The sales distribution activity tracking system using location-based mobile services makes it easy for sales distributions to report their activities to a system that was previously done manually. Based on the result of system feasibility evaluation, this application can be categorized as feasible for business. © 2018 IEEE.

The insurance industry faces a significant challenge concerning insurance claims, particularly due to the prevalence of fraudulent insurance claims. To address this issue, one potential solution is the implementation of a computer-based decision model. This research presents a fuzzy decision model based on object-oriented method development. The study involves seven stages (i.e. case analyzing, parameter analyzing, objects-parameters linking, detail object relation constructing, parameter exchange analyzing, OOFDM constructing, and model verifying and validating), with an object-oriented approach serving as the foundational method for constructing the model, and fuzzy logic as the primary method for assessing claim risks in proposing the best decision. The model has the capability to simulate insurance claims and offers objective decisions based on 19,611 claims data, categorizing them into two decision categories: acceptance and pending. © 2023 IEEE.

Cancer, also known as malignant neoplasm, is a complex and potentially fatal disease characterized by uncontrolled and abnormal cell growth in the body. The main problems with microarray cancer studies are the high curse of dimensionality and small sample size caused by redundant and irrelevant genes. To deal with the number of features that exceed the amount of data, this research purposed double filtering method Lasso-GA, Lasso is used to select the features based on feature correlation while Genetic Algorithm is used to optimize the most important features with accuracy traditional machine learning as its fitness function. The results show how effective the suggested method is;in breast cancer, the linear SVC model achieves excellent accuracy (0.93), precision (0.94), recall (0.94), and F1 score (0.94), while in lung cancer, the linear SVC, random forest, and logistic regression models perform well (accuracy: 0.95, precision: 0.92, recall: 1, F1 score: 0.95). Logistic regression is the most effective method for bladder cancer, with an accuracy of 0.82, precision of 0.77, recall of 1, and F1 score of 0.87. © 2023 IEEE.

As the executor of the transfer of civil servants, BKD (Badan Kepegawaian Daerah) is required for professionals in carrying out their duties in mutation positions for civil servants. This study implements a mutation system for civil servants by using Naive Bayes Classifier Algorithm. This study is implemented in Secretariat District Regency of Pelalawan, Riau Indonesia, This system uses some attributes such as age, total work period, education background and implemented on a web based application. This approach is an approximation to Bayes theorem which is the principle of statistical opportunity to combine previous knowledge with new knowledge. This system is very effective classification algorithm (get the right results) and efficient which can be a basic reason in mutation civil servants. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
